So she brought, they brought them to the doctors and found out that she had cancer in both eyes. But more than that, the cancer is attacking her brain, attacking all her body. Now it was COVID, so we were not able to go to the hospital to pray for her. Father, in the name of Jesus, heal the baby right now.

Paulus zegt, liefde wordt niet snel boos. 1 Corinthians 13 and verse 5. 1 Corinthians 13, verse 5. But anger outburst is a learned it's a learned behavior. Maar uitbarstingen van boosheid is aangeleerd gedrag. En de volgende keer als je boos bent, denk er dan eens even bij jezelf over na. Heel vaak ga je je dan gedragen als iemand die jij respecteert. En iedereen was heel enthousiast, ze wilde de genezingsalving ontvangen. Enorm voorrecht voor mij. 22 jaar geleden. Ik was toen veel jonger. Dus ik ging naar het stadion en ik wilde dat het alles perfect was.

So cool. What cool. This is what it means to be a man of God. So they all went back to their own city. They went back to Taiwan. They went back to Malaysia. They went back to Sri Lanka. They went back to all the different country. And they began to replicate everything they saw.

So a few years later, when I started visiting all these churches.

And then I said, Can this be right? How come I never see this before in my life?

And then I saw Matthew 11, verse 29.

I'm not a gentle pastor. I said, Jesus, please forgive me. I zegt, Jesus, vergeef als de believe. And then I saw James chapter 1, verse 19.

And I said Jacobus 1, vers 19. My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this.

Everyone should be slow to become angry.

Dus toen ik telkens die versen las, wees niet boos, wees niet boos.

I realized that after a while, instead of frowning all the time, I became a smiling pastor. By the grace of God, it's been now more than a decade since the last time I was angry.

Let me end with just one more passage. In Revelation chapter 2, Jesus has a message for the church in Ephesus. Heel veel geloven dat het een kerk was met wel 60.000 lenen.

Verloren.

En in deze context was dat een liefde voor elkaar. Nu was er verdeeldheid in de kerk. En Jezus zegt, als jullie niet je eerste liefde weer vinden, dan verlies je je kandelaar en je getuigenis. Dan verlies je alles waarvoor je gewerkt hebt.

Brothers and sisters in doorbreakers, love is the greatest, right?

And broers en zussen in doorbrekers, de liefde is echt het grootste van alles. Omdat God liefde is. Wat zei Jezus? Hieraan zal iedereen weten dat jullie mijn discipelen zijn. Als jullie liefde hebben voor elkaar. En als je dat wil gaan doen, als je dat wil hebben, mag er geen boosheid meer zijn.
