Welcome to the first in a series of minisodes in which Monte reads, discusses, and ranks (almost) every X-Men story from the debut of the mutant superheroes to the modern day.
In the first episode of the series, Monte talks about some of the earliest X-Men stories, from the debut of the X-Men and Magneto to the debut of the iconic genocide robots the Sentinels. Specifically, X-Men #1 "X-Men", X-Men #4-5 "The Brotherhood of Evil Mutants", X-Men #12-13 "Origins of Professor X / Where Walks the Juggernaut", and X-Men #14-16 "Among Us Stalk the Sentinels". Despite having all the corniness and exposition of Silver Age stories, these were actually good! Tune in to see how they ranked.
