SPOTLIGHT on the Arts is an opportunity for candid conversations with industry professionals, artists, teachers and students about all things performing arts. The Arts team chat to practitioners about their process, career highlights, future ambitions and the role the arts play in their lives.
Each season has a specific Creative and Performing Arts focus and showcases inspirational artists who aim to inspire others to develop their artistry and embed their practice.
Season 14 focuses on the Sydney Catholic Schools HSC Creative and Performing Arts Showcase.

Season 3 Episode 8 Spotlight on Emerging Artist Actor | Vocalist : Alex Dilley
Alexander Dilley is an actor, writer & musician from the South beaches of Sydney, graduating from St Patrick’s College, Sutherland and in 2019 Acting graduate from The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
Since beginning his training in 2017, he has played an electric and dynamic range of characters across Theatre, Film & Opera; most notably, Gabriel Law in When the Rain Stops Falling, Konstantin Treplev in The Seagull, Paris in Romeo & Juliet and Yvan Orlofskov / Frosch in the WAAPA Classical-Voice production of Die Fledermaus.
Currently, Alex is in the process of writing his debut EP while in between acting gigs.
