Bev Kennedy is one of Australia’s leading musical directors & accompanists, having worked on over 30 professional productions over a number of years . These include Billy Elliot, We Will Rock You, The Lion King, Wicked, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Heathers , just to name a few!
She was also nominated for a Green Room Award for her work as Musical Director on Gutenberg the Musical and has been Musical Director for the last 4 years on Light the Night charity concert raising money for leukemia research and for the Luminale Festival at the Sydney Opera House.
In 2008, Bev was the official pianist at the World Youth Day Papal Welcome which was televised worldwide.Bev has accompanied international artists such as Joan Rivers and Grammy award winners Liz Callaway, Jose Carreras, and continues to play for award winning artists such as Tina Arena and Anthony Warlow.
She is also a consultant and adjudicator for the Sydney Eisteddfod and a teacher at the Actor’s Centre and the Talent Development Program as well as the talent coordinator for Sydney’s premiere Cabaret venue Claire’s Kitchen.
