SPOTLIGHT on the Arts is an opportunity for candid conversations with industry professionals, artists, teachers and students about all things performing arts. The Arts team chat to practitioners about their process, career highlights, future ambitions and the role the arts play in their lives.
Each season has a specific Creative and Performing Arts focus and showcases inspirational artists who aim to inspire others to develop their artistry and embed their practice.

Season 12 | 2024 Sydney Catholic Schools Portrait Prize | Episode 6 Veronica Lattouf Portrait Prize Finalist
Episode 6 welcomes Veronica Lattouf, a 14-year-old art student at Our Lady of Mercy Burraneer.
She has been passionate about art since age three. Veronica began by creating pictures and birthday cards, later transitioning to cartooning and Anime art. A year ago, she embraced realism, enjoying the challenge of hyper-realistic art.
Ciara Gabriele is a passionate and innovative Instructional Leader of Creative & Performing Arts 7-8 at Our Lady of Mercy Burraneer. She is a NESA HSC marker, with over 16 years teaching experience, specialising in Visual Arts, Music and Drama.
Ciara is a passionate educator dedicated to igniting students' creativity and motivation in the Creative and Performing Arts, with a focus on contemporary abstract art, fostering a love of learning and pushing students to explore the unknown in their creative pursuits.
