David Lawrence has always done whatever it takes to get the job done. Titles mean nothing to him. That’s how he went from selling t-shirts and driving the van for Manchester hip-hop and reggae bands in the 80’s, to winning the 2019 TPI – Dennis Sheehan, Tour Manager of the Year award. David tells the story of his early days in Manchester, his 25 years with Massive Attack, working with New Order and the coming about of his production and events company DNG. David is also one of our industry’s passionate voices, leading the way in promoting improvements in crew mental health and well-being. We could have gone on for hours.
