Marriage is a picture, but it is not the destination. It is meant to shape our hearts for our ultimate hope: eternal life with God. Revelation 21 reminds us that God's future is renewal, not replacement. He is not abandoning what He made. He is restoring it. The way we live and love now reveals where our hope truly is.
