Bernie is a “professional creative person” who excels in art direction, illustration, and skateboarding. He likes chasing opportunities over money, prides himself on his ability to write, and likes the idea of being able to mentor young creatives.
He is a strong believer that insights should play a large role in the work, and while he “loves focusing on the visuals, it’s the ideas that drive him, because the art part is wasted if there isn’t a worthy, working concept to build on.”
Outside of his advertising work, Bernie runs an Instagram account called @Sk8boardingsaves with 51k followers that he uses as a daily love letter to skaters.
