On Episode 122 of Bouncing Back, I interviewed April Soetarman who was most recently an Experiential Designer/ACD at Campfire. This is also my 80th episode in partnership with The Avail List.

April is a total rockstar whose interview blew me away. She is an artist, designer, teacher, and writer who has a background in architecture, immersive installations, narrative design, and public art.

She loves challenging herself to solve difficult problems, is always learning, works across multiple mediums, and in addition to being a strong conceptual thinker, she also has the hard skills to create with her adobe, 3D, coding & illustration skills.

Outside of her advertising work she started WeirdSideProjects.com where she got famous for guerrilla street art, creating physical street signs with unique quotes, and making Twitter bots. These exhibits/installations were created by April to share certain feelings with the world.
