On Episode 127 of Bouncing Back, I interviewed Aarti Thamma who was most recently an Art Directing intern at Saatchi and Saatchi. This is also my 85th episode in partnership with The Avail List.
Aarti started her career by getting a bachelors degree in business and an MBA in marketing. After going door-to-door selling Mutual Funds she realized that her real passion was in creative, and figuring out the why behind people purchasing certain products.
After that realization she setup a small creative business with her friends where she helped small businesses in her community grow. She continued working on her craft at the Miami Ad School, pays a lot of attention to detail, makes sure to do research on the brands she’s working on, and loves to collaborate.
She’s a people person who loves thinking beyond just the brief deliverables, and credits the fact that she has lived in the Middle East, India and the US for having a larger understanding of the world.
