#112: Reconnecting Congress - Breaking Down Partisan Divisions on the Hill
Show Notes

Far too often, Americans hear about how polarized the U.S. Congress has become in recent decades. The bitter divisiveness among Members has major ramifications on the federal legislative process and the political climate, and it appears that many simply have not had opportunities to get to know one another. Among the 435 Members of Congress are thousands of Capitol Hill staffers who also need to get to know one another amid a difficult political environment.

Dave Tennent, creator of the CNCT app and a former congressional staffer, shares some of the networking challenges he and many staffers faced during COVID and how his app could revitalize socialization on the Hill.

Roll Call - "Networking hasn't bounced back from COVID-19. This Hill staffer has an app for that." (Feb. 23, 2022)
