Zac Crook joins me with producer extraordinaire Tommy Trautwein to discuss his upcoming sophomore album, ‘MVP 2003’. Over the course of two and a half years, and with the help of multi-instrumentalist Hampton Peay (Walter Slide), this trio was able to concoct some of the most interesting and pop tunes I’ve heard in a long time.
We got to discuss their creative process, being intentional, recording techniques, perfect albums, musical influences, studio gear, working with friends, and much more!
