Spencer Thomas is back for his third episode here on On That Note!
When I first started this podcast, I did over 100 interviews over zoom, but Spencer was my very first in-person interview ever! He's an indie rock / country singer songwriter and multi instrumentalist with a knack for killer hooks and lyricism. For a couple of years he was also the touring keyboardist for Futurebirds!
Today, we got to chat about the making of his album 'The Joke of Life', released via Strolling Bones Records, important lyricists, the collaboration process, referencing your idols, and Westside Gunn.
