Ye geeky here. Is your host. Raimundo welcome to my show. This is the bonus episode. The recap. This is probably going to be the last one I do for awhile. So. Enjoy it. Oh, man, this was a great season. I learned so much. I felt like I got out of my shell so much. Feeling like. Donna Tello. Um, man, um, yeah, this season was fun. I learned a lot about myself. I feel like i've really got to see it and i'm really bill for this it was crazy is that it's just still just the beginning but y'all know how we do let's go

Raymundo

It's Ben moon does quote of the day

And the quota today. Come see you. Bye. Andre GIDE. Man can not discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore. The way I take that quote is. in order to really get to your future. You got to leave your paths way in the background. And your comfort zone. And that safety, knowing that. You know that the land is dead at What you're used to is there. You're setting sail. And you being the captain of your own ship. To discover something new about yourself, with something that you knew you can do. that you ain't know, you have venue. Until you decided to. Take a chance. In the unknown. And almost take control of where you going to go. I sometimes will be trying something new or trying to elevate ourselves to. Different levels than we used to. And I feel like people will add like a move to another state. For their career or for love or wherever the case may be. It's not knowing. What's gonna happen and you ready just to risk it all to go find out. not even sometime, man, you really want to make it. To the top in any field. And anything you want to do. You got to take risks. And, I know it sucks cause it's not, it's not a guaranteed reward, but. If you don't stop. You minimize the risk. And if you don't stop learning. Add those two together as a Reynolds wrap this. Enough about the quote. Let's get into the recap So for episode 19. Which was my first episode of season three. I just wanted to let you know what I had planned for that season. And What my transition was all about. Of course first was, becoming the best father I could be. Also trying to take this podcast thing to another level. And. Doing shit that I wasn't comfortable doing. Also, I got twins. So. Trying to get into that entrepreneurial world. So I can give my kids more and. Prove myself, right. But I had a lot of fun in the episode sometimes. I get caught over the shit. And I don't get the podcast as much as I like to. So. It was like, it was good to be back. felt the whole new season vibe and it was ready to go. And I didn't realize that. Naming it that, and then. Following the process of making some changes in my life. I didn't think it was gonna change me. And. Make me better, but here's some highlights from that episode. I love this podcast. Shit nowadays. I'm a different man. Yesterday's Ray is not today's Ray or better yet. Season two. Ray is not season three. Ray had some beautiful changes in my life that I wanted to share with you. Different things I'm dealing with still headed in that same direction to my greatness so I can pass it down, which is the goal. But besides that Nino's home, the twins are here and Raymundo's back. And this is episode 19, any transition, serious enough to alter your definition of self will require not just small adjustments in your way of living and thinking, but a full. Metamorphs on some straight power Rangers shit nigga. Like it's morphing time. And I know you heard this saying before, understanding the assignment. That means you didn't come to play. You learned what was needed to take care of business. And you basically delivered on a promise shit, whether you may win or not, So my thing is, write it down, but write it down, take action, maintain it and improve it. So I feel like in the Nu. Do that shit. Get that shit. Keep that shit. and don't stop till you actually, you never stop. You just always find a way to make it better. Cuz inflation is a motherfucker. For real man, yo like I've been to seminars, I've heard the word when I was younger, but seeing that shit and what COVID done to it is just is wild. I'm gonna do a lot of great shit this year, cuz everything's gonna benefit my kids, my wife, her kids, which is my kids too. trusting yourself is, is it makes a big difference. Like there's confidence that comes with that. Cuz you know, you got you. Not, not all of us have it. Naturally. Some of us gotta build that shit. You gotta do whatever it is that you feel you need to do and continue to do it and just see the growth in it. Man, like seeing yourself go from a to Z is it's a beautiful process. Change is inevitable. You might as well get in front of it. So you never left behind as cliche as it sounds be the fucking change that you want to see and prove your life. So you don't have to wait for the weekend to turn the fuck up. You can do it every day, any day when you feel like it, and you can call the shots. So for episode 20, our originally. Was going to drop that. I can August. I went back and forth about when I was going to do the podcast. It's not until our. I put a date that I've decided to go forward and do what was needed. So to put it together. But I had a great conversation with Avin Ableman he's a great dude. He's a deep dude. I still follow him now. he just really cares about people like. other people usually don't. He has like a unique perspective. When he agreed to be on the show. I didn't know what to make the episode of balls. So I. I went through a lot of different. Drafts. And I had an episode called tap into your greatness that I did alone. That was pretty good, but I feel like. He was on that path. So I figured why not? Cut it in half and add them to it. So if you want to know the if you want it to know the essence behind that I connected with him through a service called matchmaker FM it's for podcasters and, And guests. uh, so he was the first one. He was the first one I've decided to do. I posole with a side of my circle. And then went great, man. Like we see a lot of shit the same way. But he has some gems. That just made the episode better but let's check out some highlights from the episode. So you can see what I was talking about. This is episode. Tapping into your greatness had to make this one, cuz I'm still in the mix of reaching for mine and I will never stop. So I figure why not talk about it? Greatness is not measured by, by a man or woman accomplishes, but by the opposition, he or she. Has to overcome to reach his goals. And honestly, yo man rejection is, is gotta be one of the toughest things you could tell somebody. Well, Leah can tell somebody, um, if first you don't succeed, dust yourself up and try again, I feel like we all born with greatness, but not everybody taps into it, hearing. It gives me some sense of power. Some type of like, yeah, I'm there. What's up. I'm getting there. I'm there. I see you. I see you. Greatness. but some are intimidated by it because when you see someone that's living their true potential, enjoying their greatness, when you willing to accept what scares you, what holds you? What you're strong at what? You're not. I feel like that's when you open the door for growth, that's when you make room for growth. One of the first steps to getting into your graveness is accepting who you are accepting, what you're great at and what, what you suck at it's okay. let's welcome, Aaron Ableman to the Raymundo show. Peace. Peace. start with a little bit of the origin story. grew up in, in central coast, California, Santa Barbara county, primarily I was actually raised, I always like to acknowledge the original territories, the original peoples of the lands, both where I'm speaking from and also where I grew up. My parents were working class activists, and yet we were in this idyllic, California paradise, really, you know, the beaches, the mountains. I was born bizarrely enough in Michael Douglas's basement, the actor, um, my, and which is awesome. Cause if I was born on his block, I would've told everybody I would, oh, you know, group So actually that's how our brains are formed is through storytelling. It's not even just, oh, storytelling is amazing. And we've all been doing it forever, but the scientific. Consensus and study of it is that the neurology of our brains are formed through narrative. Wow. So, you know, I'm gonna, I'm gonna read so many books to my kids. I loved a lot of the pop culture icons that I felt were putting out a positive message in the world, a lot of sports players and, you know, athletes and, and music artists. I had a pretty big obsession with Bob Marley for a while. God, Bob Marley's the man as a child, like his music hit me and then his life was just so remarkable. It's all the music is a universal language too. So it's a way that we as humans also kind of like storytelling, same kind of vibe that it's just, that's part of who we are and how we interact. I think. Most effectively, like with music, you don't even need a time machine. Like it takes you to a place. It takes you to a time. It takes you, takes you all over the place. Music has something for everybody. I don't care who you are. I don't care. You that's toughest person in the world. I don't care if you're the, the biggest punk in the world. I've been writing for years, I guess I don't give myself the credit, but I'm a poet. I still write, I write poems on a regular basis sometimes I'll, I'll try to write like a little children's story. I'm just, I got the perfectionist thing that doesn't, let me see it all the way through. Sometimes that gets the best of us. What I'm learning now is I'm just starting to release stuff more and just, you know what, it might not even be perfect, but it's something is better than the perfect nothing. Only the strong survive, but it's gonna take more than a week to increase your strength, but don't wind. It takes time. Greatness gotta marinate before you're able to indulge with your greatness. Make sure you tap in on some Gregory HN ship. And when you, at the part of your story where you're able to teach others, Still be happy regardless what you went through and want to tell it on the Raymundo show. Now for episode 21. It was part three. I have a mental health. Topic that I love to touch on, especially since I've improved mine. I wanted to go at it from a different perspective and talk about something else that I personally been personally been dealing with. OCD. It's been like about. 15 years. when I realized that I had it. And there's been an up and down struggle. But I found ways to cope. And I was hoping I could help someone that's dealing with that. And mental health full role in house, seen the therapists. Can change the game for you. but I have Brianna called the Rhone. Was a tele-health therapist in New York. from the Bronx. So we had the. The connection from jump. It was a dope interview. it was serious. We shed a lot of lives. it was dope because I was a patient. Before, and she's a therapist now. So you were able to see it from both perspectives. And like I said, man, the energy. she was great. But let's get into the highlights of the episode. this is episode 21. You are not alone. Part three. Y know, I don't play when it comes to mental health, there's always gonna be an episode dedicated to that, out of suffering have emerged the strongest souls. The most massive characters are seeded with scars. And with those people that took their pain and turned it into happiness, there's some people that just never show you. They're scars because they've learned to move on and live in the moment. And those scars is just to show them how far they come and they didn't let those situations that they didn't go their way, keep them down. Muno fans to give up a warm welcome to Brian Carone. It's goodo, all of it. That feels like a warm welcome. that's what we want at the Raymundo show. New York is very, very important. Like it's the, one of the things I'm most proud of. Don't get me wrong. If you from Mississippi or wherever, I'll go anywhere. Just say you could be York at a different vibe flow, extra love. And it's pretty exciting. I feel like OCD should be more, you know, people should be more familiar with the term, but it's like something you. Either have a little bit of, or, you know, somebody, I I've expressed it on the show that I I've, you know, I've had my own issues with O C D. So once I saw that was one of your specialties, that was my O C D acting up the way that we think about it. It very much is that like that contamination, that worrying that arranging that needing things to be a arranged the same way or symmetrical looking right feeling. Right. But it's more than just those things. It's a lot of intrusive thinking. Images that you might not wanna have feelings that you might not wanna have. It's about core fears. Um, so there's a lot of layers to it. It's a spectrum of fears and behaviors meant to rid yourself of those fears. And a lot of what we do is psychoeducation. And even in general, people don't like to live with uncertainty, the feel the unknown. But imagine, I feel like with OCD, it's like cranked to a thousand, like yeah, absolutely. We're human beings. We don't wanna be uncertain. We don't wanna, the unknown is scary. It varies. It's just with everybody. It doesn't have to be, you know, with a diagnosis O C D on it just general uncertainty is scary and not being able to always predict if something bad's gonna happen, not being able, feeling like you're not in control of your fate And while you are never gonna be responsible for the thoughts that come into your head, because we all have those weird thoughts had'em plenty of times, sometimes your brain does the weirdest stuff that you ever thought of people without O C D are like, eh, that was weird. Yeah. Moving on. People with O C D takes control of their brain and now they need to continuously do or think something to rid themselves. Of that fear of that possibility of doing something unthinkable and it's never enough. There's so much. I don't wanna say backlash, but social stigma is if that's the way when it comes to going to therapy, especially. Growing up in New York, if you going to therapy, you wilding out. Like, it's always, I'm not saying everybody like that in New York, but I'm just saying like in the hood therapy is like, man, like the insurance don't even cover that shit like that. Like like go to therapy. Yes. Yes. And that's, that is absolutely part of what puts people off that it's unaffordable insurance doesn't cover it. It's not accessible. And that's what we're trying to change. Of course there is no perfect system. We can't strive for perfection. I would love to strive for perfection. I hope everybody does. Access to quality care, but there is this social stigma and I think we're getting better at it. I hope we're getting better at it, especially with, you know, the boom of social media, telehealth platforms, podcast, just being on here, gets the word out. I think it's dope when your doctor goes to the doctor, your barber has a barber. Exactly. Barbers have barbers, hairdressers doctors. It's a cycle. That's why, that's why people specialize in these things. So we can all help each other as a community. And then you can relate. And I feel like the thing with mental health, what a lot of things happen. Once you get help with it, you want to help other people. Cause you see, you was like, you wasn't your best self and you want people to be their best selves. And they don't know about these things and you wanna inform them. It's great to learn. Knowledge is power. Don't let anxiety limit the variety of experiences you could be having the life you want is dead ass. On the other side of fear, like a joke about cancer, your mental health is something you can't play with. Don't ignore it like a spam likely call, look into it like a microscope, find a way to cope so you can enjoy life. You deserve all the joy in the world, Life doesn't give you situations you can't handle, but the way you handle the situation, determines the outcome and the story you tell, For episode 22, excuse me. My worst enemy. I wanted to do an episode about excuses because honestly I'm tired of hearing my shit. I'm tired of hearing other people's sheds. Okay. It don't change. Like when you want to do signs, you got to go get it in the only. Person standing in your way is you. And sometimes you can be your worst enemy so i wanted to tap into that but let's look at some dope shit i said in that episode this is episode 22, excuse me, my worst enemy and excuse is nothing more than a self-imposed roll block. We just hold ourselves back from being truly. Our best selves. Like we subconsciously, or even sometimes consciously put roadblocks in front of the life. We really want to live and want to have and things we want to do. Even if it's not something, when it comes to success, like being there for somebody or saying the wrong thing at the end of the day, you your own worst enemy, like you. Focus on the problem instead of the, the solution seems like a, a simple switch, but when your habits control your every day is something not as easy to do, cuz habits run our worlds. excuses? No, no, like dead ass. Nobody respects them. The only one. Respects him to someone gullible enough to believe it. Or sometimes there is a reason when I think about excuse, I just think about some bullshit like that. We ain't really tried. And for those that had there's, there's people out there that could have went the easy route and just came up with some shit why they didn't make it. But if it wasn't for these people, we wouldn't have everything that we have today. Cuz there's always a hater or somebody that don't believe in shit because whatever they've been. But it's, I feel like it's happened in every field from technology to food to, um, traveling. Like I bring it up. I'm like, yo, they thought the Wright brothers was bugging. what's something that can really help you out though. Paying attention to your awareness, the shit you are aware. That's this shit that you, you realize, and you know, you see it around you, but you ignore it. I feel like for me, energy, just, it tells me the story, regardless if I like to embrace it or realize it or not energy tells me the story that I need to know wherever I'm at, Another thing I wanted to touch on is the victim mentality. I don't think some of us notice that we do it, or we have it. You gotta see the signs like, uh, one is yourself talk, being negative. When you make a mistake, pat yourself on the back, be like, yo, alright, you'll be better next. You never feel sorry for yourself, cuz that's just the worst man. Cuz you know, we understand certain situations support that, but not when there's some, there's something you can do about it. Like you gotta be real with yourself. Yo lack of confidence will put you in situations that you don't want to be in. Can make you deal with shit you don't want to deal with or it'll make you feel like hopeless I can find a solution to this, somewhere in there, out of all the things you've experienced, read, seen on TV. There's an answer somewhere there. Sometimes it's not the answer you looking for, but the answer you need, The mind does what you. So Ted is something good. You're the reason you're not where you feel you're supposed to be playing. The blame game is a game set up for you to lose, lose yourself in becoming the best version of you. Your family deserves it, you deserve it. And so does the world. know what I like most about each season? That always have a list of episodes. they never done exactly how. I originally wanted to do them, but they ended up being better. What would dream catcher? I was supposed to interview someone, Jason, a dream. it didn't work out like that. So I decided to do it by myself. Or. Uh, Koa heard by Damon dash and, um, Eddie Griffin. I don't want to be chasing that shit forever. I want to catch it and make it happen and live it. so this was my version of it this is episode 23, dream catcher. We don't chase dreams over here. We set up fucking booby traps and not the ones that, that the coyote used to try to use for the roll runner, cuz he never caught duke duke was always like Mimi I'm out but anyway This one, I'm gonna do it different this time. I'm gonna let him say it for you. The death of a dream is the best funeral. That means it became a reality or, and then it's time to have another one. So yeah, in one of my reading sessions, something was brought to my attention that I never really considered cuz nobody needs that negativity. But Brian, Tracy was talking about some incorporating obstacles and objections and things that will stop you personally, physically like you really address what can stand in your way of going to the next level, making the dream, come to life., the one they gave me for my ambition, something, something, but it's better than living. my girls. Like they, he go fucking up the song again. yeah. I don't know if you know this, but I feel like you don't think about the word ambition and that shit is embedded in the DNA of all the great ones, all the ones that were told no, a million times. And still was able to do it. But speaking of the word, no, the word, no, gotta be one of the scariest words in the English language. I, I don't know if it's something we programmed from or, or like, it's just something from younger. You get told. No, Sometimes you gotta be a little bit crazy or you might seem a little bit crazy cuz you ready to step out the norm. You're not trying to do what everybody else is doing. You trying to do you trying to be the one. That puts your life the way you want it to be. Right. God gave us the breath, but he also gave us legs so we could move gave us a mind so we can think heart so we can feel and free will to either focus on the good or the bad when the choices is up to you. But you gotta be on some real, other shit. If nobody using the word to the ambitious to describe. Then you ain't there yet. To keep up with the times. The best thing I could do is read, but not for nothing. Nobody from my block has ever did what I'm trying to do. So what really makes me so special? Let me tell you something, Ray moon though, ain't nobody in this world. Like you, ain't nobody in this world, like. So what you bring to the table, nobody else can serve it, but you more you know what it is, young blood you condition to find ways for written out the work and you letting dream killers, kill your dream. But a dream killer. Can't kill your dream unless you let the mother kill it. Get it. There's those who had the odd stacked against them and still prevailed in yourself. You have to become a believer. Like smash mouth. When he saw that woman's face, I'm a believer. So when I was in the beginning stage of the Raymundo. Show. I didn't know. How wanted. The covet of look. Thanks to my brother Herbie. We ended up coming over with something to like to base it on. Then when, once I bought it, uh, rumen. he made it what it is today. I ate the same thing with my logo and every other cover. So it was only a matter of time before I had him on the show. I was just waiting for the right episode. Well, we can. Connect in. Make this classic. he started his brain. aspire me to really start improving mine. And it was dope. You know what I'm saying? Anytime, somebody from high school from Bushwick is dead. It's all love. This is episode 24, Brandon with the principles. And on today's episode, I got a special guest who was part of helping make the Raymundo show discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishments. so wanted to welcome to the Ray BDO show Rubin. So what's the shot, man. What's going on, bro? Chilling chilling, bro. How you man? I'm good, man. Can't complain. So like what, like when it comes to your brand, like, what's your sole mission? My sole mission through the brand is to make people feel good about themselves. No matter what they do. That's a fact, I don't care if like there's a lot of shit happens in life. Everybody goes through something. The purpose is, I want you to. Either hoodie on or this shirt and just, you just feel good about yourself. Worries. That's just the goal. Instead of wearing some shirt that says, fuck the world, like, nah, man, where's some shit that's gonna make you think about what you gotta do. What you gotta get done, what you gotta live by Like you go out into this world and I guarantee you'll hear 10 negative things first before you hear one positive. Yeah, man, you can hear 10 negative things before somebody says good. More than to you word man. Negativity, spreads faster than butter. You heard I'm talking about warm butter. Speaking of people in your circle, who is the most dedicated person in your circle? Give them Michelle out. My pop straight up, Eddie. I know he appreciate, oh, now he's retired. He chill. Okay. He chill. He retired now, but that man has from day one, since I was born, has been the most dedicated person. And his dedication was being the dad that he never had. So you gotta, you got a hustler DNA basically on it. Like whose success story pretty much inspires you the most? Well known like celebrity wise would have to be David Goggins. David yo David, yo, he's the beast. He was actually on my list for dedicated. He makes the list twice. Dude. It's success is crazy. He, he hits all of. The principles automatically, honestly like that dude, from reading his book to listening to what he does. Like there's no, he's, there's a reason why there's some shit that I had gone through when I listened to him, it helped me get through the stuff. Shout out to David Goggins. once you're dedicated to doing something determination and discipline can go, that could be two and three mm-hmm You gotta have that discipline to actually get it done. You're determined to get something done, but the determination kicks in discipline drives your determination. Discipline drives the determination keys you wake up in the morning and you say, yeah, let's say you You wanna do great things, but you're gonna have to make some changes to do so might be the action you take or the decisions you make, whatever it is, make sure you keep moving forward and dedicate your life to always improving. Get yourself in order, develop or copy some sort of system that can keep you on. Be like Malcolm X by any means necessary. This episode was definitely the highlight. Of the season for me. I got to really talk about being a father and. pretty much every aspect of it. And the way the episode. Came into the discussion was I was having. Conversation with my best friend. And we were talking about the fatherhood episode. And then I was like, yo, you know what? We should just talk about that. And then just talk about experiences. And it came together. Great. I had some audio difficulties, but as you can see, my production is on point. So we were able to. Make it happen. And it's definitely a classic people that don't have kids. Set as their favorite episode, shout out to Tito source. But let's check it out this is episode 25. Fatherhood. It's an amazing experience. There's gonna be an amazing episode. It's been a long time in the Macon My children didn't choose to be born. They owe me nothing. I owe them everything. I had to get real dramatic when I said that, man, cuz it's the truth had to get my best friend, also fellow father music genius. My brother J. Sir Mundo show was good. I'm back, baby. I saw this movie and I went through different emotions. So to me, it's a classic. I cried, I laughed and it definitely made me think, you know what I'm saying? I ain't really cry, but I wanted to like a motherfucker, like, you know what I'm saying? I had to, you know, hold it back. Cuz it was real. It got real. But yeah, it was a lot of that's cause you strong man. That's that Kingston blood. And man, it, it just, I can't imagine it, but I know it's a lot of fathers that probably go through that. Not, and probably not even to that extreme, but like there's single fathers out here. And, and I'm saying y'all well, I feel like, I feel like it's harder for us. What was your favorite part of the movie? My favorite part, I can't remember what was happening, but it was like he was supposed to leave or something and he came back for her. Is that what he did. He came back for her, or remember, were you supposed to leave with her? Leave her with grandma. Yo, this guy, bro. That was my part, man. Oh, that was your part all is if you a single RN married on a relationship, what doesn't change is that you want the best for your child. What don't change is that you love your child. So what is being a father to you? It, it's not one thing I think for me personally, like that's my, one of my life's purposes it's to raise a, a generation of kids that, that could potentially have an impact on the world. Well that's for me being the father is like being everything my kids need me to be for whatever the situation is. You gotta give them that. They gotta trust you, right? Giving you all that trust. Cause from early you taking care of them and they looking into you to hold'em down, cuz that's what they see you do. And it's a promise you gotta deliver on Like you wake up and do what you gotta do to make sure they eating. They got everything. They need to be healthy and loving life. Cuz the baby life is a great life to me. But the actions of everything that I have to do is not the hardest part, but it's the thought that am I doing everything I'm supposed to be doing? You know what I'm saying? Am. Am I crossing my Ts, dialing my eyes. Am I really putting my a hundred percent into this? Cuz if I don't, then they're gonna have to feel the effects of that when you crossing the Ts and die in the eyes, that's when you trying to revolutionize that's You gotta give your kid that Don that energy yeah, yeah, yeah. That Donda energy for real salute that Donda, miss Donda, respect. God bless. I don't know if y'all saw that documentary, but the reason Kanye's like that is cuz of his. She pretty much was his biggest fan. And honestly, you gotta be your kid's biggest fan. They gotta feel like you, the number one cheerleader. Whenever they do anything. I, I was lucky though. Like my pops was my biggest fan BR period. What's the best advice you would give to new dads, including myself. Uh, okay. Here, here's one, if you selfish, you get rid of that shit. And, and I'm, I really mean that learn to like really perceive this thing as like, this is a human life that's dependent on you. as a father, you are a protector and all around provider, not just with money, but your understanding and willingness to put yourself to the side, like some French fries. For them to have it all. And that's, what's dope that with them, you always feel like you have it all. For episode 26. I was inspired by a book called the 5:00 AM club. It was an amazing book. has so many quotes. Made me feel different about myself. And I always felt like. when it comes to time that I can't wait to wake up. Even before the sun comes out. That means I'm extra motivated and. I feel like I'm on my way to being. Wealthy and financially free. Like I always dreamed of. And. Getting a jumpstart on the day. Can almost. Increase the chances. There's so many successful people that do it. And recently I've done it a couple of times. And it was crazy about Tommy got the 10 o'clock in the morning. I wanted to eat lunch. Thinking it was already the afternoon, but it's just cause I was off for so long, but I already had got. So much done. By that time. So imagine you keep doing that. The majority of the year. Can have life changing results. And I'm going to document it. Show you my process and my journey. So look out for the YouTube. but yeah. Let's go. Welcome to my show. The early edition. This is episode 26, the early riser. I used to think going to sleep was cool till I realized waking up early is the real boss shit. I was already aware of the benefits of waking up early, cuz it's like, yo, like who the fuck? Wanna wake up? Yo and be feeling like it's a crime and shit. like get on the floor. Dirt bags. Wooo said it was cool Every professional was once in amateur and every master started as a beginner, ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary feats once they've ized, the right habits there wasn't your regular book. There was like excitement. There was drama. There was love. There was death. There was life, there was suspense. This book had everything and it was. To convince you to wake up early and join this club of people doing extraordinary things. And it all started with them just waking up earlier than everybody else. And I know it's a tough task, man, but you'll think yourself later, you'll have more time for yourself and your family. Where in the person that made that shit up was in line. If you snooze, you lose So think about it like this, right? You wake up. So you start off the day on a good note. You got a system in place, so you don't waste time, not doing shit because you can wake up earlier and still be distracted. So you gotta give yourself like a schedule, a strategy of what you're gonna do. So once you get up, your mind is clicking or I gotta do this, I gotta do that Learning something new. Cause every time you learn something new, you get that wrinkle in your brain. You're here, you start the day with energy woke up before everybody else, you got to work on your mind with meditating or, or journaling, and then you gotta learn something new that can either help you with your life or help you with your finances or help you with your relationships. don't know why I didn't mention this in the excuses episode. But you gotta try to eliminate the excuse before you're able to make it. If you know you don't like to do something, cuz your room's not clean, make sure your room is always. I feel like I gotta get to know consistency on another level. She don't know me like that, but one day I'm gonna get you consistency. Let me tell you something. Consistency, baby. Ain't nobody like you. You bring something to my life every day that nothing else can consistency The book says totally something different about change, but the way I said it is, it's a bitch in the beginning. It's a eye in the middle, but it's fucking glorious. And deadass fire at the end, when you do the shit that you said you were gonna do and you make that change. So just think about everything I said on this episode, you'll be happier. You'll get more stuff done. Your procrastination won't even be able to compete with you anymore and you'll be getting stuff done. And you'll be so far ahead of your time. You'll be able to start another life. Look behind you. You pass yourself twice So through the entire season, different guests and including myself. Mentioned the comfort zone so much that I was about to rename the whole shit. The comfort zone. If it wasn't for the fact that I had the cohort ready, I would have had to do that shit. How could you really be better? If you're doing the same shit. That. As you where you at right now? You could tell from our first interview to my last one, how better I am at it and how much more I enjoy it. As I, once I start talking to somebody. It's like, I remember. Yo. I'm a conversationalist. It's dope, meeting different people and I'm able to connect with them no matter where they from. I feel like as my gift. but the truly. Give myself. My kids, my family. The world, my gift. I got to get a little uncomfortable. I got to step into the land of the unknown. I should be happy that it's not like. Like the middle of the forest with no lights. That's some scary ass shit. That was one of my fears, man, being in the middle of the ocean in the middle of the night. And in the forest. This episode was one of the first episodes I recorded and I recorded a whole bunch of between. So I had to like, Ask some stuff and mix it up. But it's about the comfort zone. It was go This is epic episode 27, the comfort zone zone. it's the season finale. Don't forget to subscribe. Season three, the transition, another classic. I really loved this episode. I had a push through my comfort zone to make them happen. I'm extremely proud of it. I wanna do this podcast thing more than ever now, and I'm gonna try to take everything that I want to do as far as I can. I gotta show my kids that daddy could do it. You could do it too. And that's just believing in himself and going for the dreams and making them a motherfucking reality. life is hard for two reasons, either because you're leaving your comfort zone or because you're staying in it The comfort zone where dreams go to die, where that better couch is comfortable as fuck. And you don't wanna do nothing, but just put on your favorite Netflix series and just zone out and not think about all this responsible, bullshit and bullshit that you really want to do. That just sounded personal. Right? You wanna make sure you sending out the right vibration to the universe, letting know you want the stuff that feels good. If you're aware of the things you can do and still don't do'em anyway and find ways to distract yourself. You're in the comfort zone. If there was no discomfort, we wouldn't have those compelling stories. Or we wouldn't have a reason to have hope when the tough gets going and the going gets tough. But your need for instant gratification is stopping you probably in front of what you've been waiting for. And we all want results and we don't get results like in the gym. If you work out for a month and you don't see that you. You just be like, fuck it. I'm just, I gonna stay home and eat some chips. you need to make a change to get a different result so why is it so easy to stay in the comfort zone? Cause it's so fucking chill. It's so fucking safe. A rainy Sunday morning. It's a little chilly outside and you under the covers and you got great food and you comfortable as hell type of safe. Doesn't really require too much of your energy. You use minimal energy, mind, power. You just try to get for point a to pay point B. Sometimes we don't. We don't like to use our energy. That's a fact, no accountability. If you don't. Put it out there, you don't gotta get shit done. And you become that person that has no aspirations, not inspiring to do shit, but just get through the next day. And you know, it doesn't have to be like that, man. I've been there, man. That shit sucks Like what happens when you get uncomfortable? When you face fears, when you do the things that you've been saying you wanted to do. Doing the things that you thought only other people can do. What does that look like? I feel like your character is gonna be like, they're gonna base a, a, a movie role on you. that's how crazy your character are gonna be. Then you show yourself that your dreams. Can become a reality using this method. You build that grit. You know what I'm saying? Like the Memphis Grizzlies man, just straight up, no matter what, nobody gotta say. You, you doing everything with heart. you show yourself that no matter the circumstance you stand the chance, your mind, you may give yourself belief something without any proof. And I have, you know, two other seasons under my belt, and I thought it was gonna be hard for me to top the first one. But honestly, I feel like this one is another classic. This one's personal to me because like, I really push myself. To the limit. And then, then later on, so when you really get good at something that you were worried about, you start getting that confidence. It feels like I've been doing it for years now. Like I have a whole different approach and I was able to change my mindset because of the transition. so fuck the comfort zone. Get in the zone like auto zone, but like that tie ass saying that's true as fuck to get what you never had. You gotta do what you never done. I'll probably move the words around, but you get it and don't limit yourself. Reach for the stars like ELO Musk. And Jeff Bezos. Raymundo's final. Say If I had to sum it all up in one word. I will say astronomical. Because the space I'm in. Feels like I'm in another world. When you listen to my show. You really get a piece of my mind. But my goal is to say something. That'll give you. Uh, piece of mind. I decided to become a constant visitor to the place we call the unknown. What I didn't realize. That our discovery would be made. But nothing material. Definitely spiritual. For Christopher Columbus. But like Christopher Columbus. I've found something that was already there. My greatness was buried under some of the messes I made. unforeseeable losses. And opinions that will light as a feather, but my mind made heavy as a ton. So I tapped into the source and I got a boost to my mom body, the soul. Made me feel like Bruce Leroy with the glow. My mindset is now. I am the chosen one. I was on the mission with the transition. The tablets in my greatness. I just needed to work on my maintenance. Always improving. No, my mental health gave my brain. Uh, wealth money can't buy and what's dope is. That I'm not alone. As soon as I stopped relying on excuses, I figured out solutions and befriended myself instead of being my worst enemy. Where are you right? I'm a catch on my dream. Cause I'm tired of chasing them. Always incorporate the principles while I'm growing my brand and embracing all the blessing that fatherhood has to offer. Now I must be an early riser, but nothing is possible until I kind of pull out the comfort zone bitch. But, yeah, man, this was another great recap episode. Uh, the last one for awhile. I was able to bring another classic. And. Originally the transition was supposed to be the whole season. But now I, like I mentioned in the last episode is just the Ramon those show and we cover a lot of topics. different than what you use to. I feel like I really need to do this to find out who I really am as a podcasting. And. I can't fully know unless I try new things. And I'm always going to try to evolve like. Staying the same. It's not the game I'm trying to be in. But I want to thank my moon though. Listeners. My support is. I got a lot of things cooking up. I'm on my Bobby Flay shit. I don't know what I'm going to. I don't know what episode I'm going with with the first quote-unquote. Episode for the new season, but. You know, it was always going to be some heat. But so next time peace love mundo out out out
