If you are a Missouri school leader, school board member or any public educational decision maker Missouri, well, you are in the right place.
This podcast is to provide you with insights into legal developments through conversations with legal experts and influencers in the Missouri education community.
Our goal is to bring critical voices to the table to talk through issues that are impacting you or will likely be impacting you in the near future.
We may be discussing the most recent school court case, new legislation or perhaps an area that seems to be a legal concern for our Missouri public school clients.
Just a word about our firm so you know a little more about the people behind EdCounsel Insights.
In 2014, a group of attorneys left the traditional practice of law to open what was an entirely different type of entity—one that is built from the ground up to do only one thing--- serve Missouri public schools.
We chose not to name our firm after the partners in our firm, but rather more for the people we serve.
Our purpose—our why—is simple—to serve Missouri public schools.
This design allows us to focus on the issues that matter most for our school clients and an approach that is efficient, highly competent, accessible, and responsive to the needs of public school districts.
It has allowed us to gain the trust of over 200 of Missouri’s public school districts.
It also allows us to get inside the timely, critical issues for Missouri schools.
So that is our intent with this podcast going forward.
To provide you, members of the Missouri public education community, with legal insights into the critical issues of the day and
to try to do so through down to earth conversations about what really matters to schools and school leaders.
