I'm your host, Cole Smitson, the Locksmith. And join me like he always does, super late on the East Coast. Glad you're with me. It's Wettis Man in podcasting, Slick Willy, Will Einfault. How are you doing, buddy?
SPEAKER_02I'm good. Good. Sitting here watching the last minute of uh Niners Chargers at 1 a.m. So uh yeah, I'm doing well.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, dude, turned into a bloodbath there. Uh in San Francisco, I believe. I don't actually know where the game's being played. Uh in LA. Oh, Jesus. Even worse. But I know it's preseason, but just never good to get your clocks cleaned like that. Uh Will said there was a funny play that Trey Lance turned the wrong way trying to pitch to a running back that wasn't there. The whole offensive line, everybody ran the other way. Uh, and he got swallowed. So it looks like he is not getting very much very much better. Um kind of crazy that the 49ers, it goes under the radar sometimes that they completely whiffed on trading multiple first-round picks, and we're still like a Super Bowl contender. I know Brock Purdy, everything worked out, but kind of crazy. Um, we got a couple news items, but then like I said, uh after our last podcast, we're here to do division odds, uh player props, and then whether teams will make the playoffs or not. So definitely a gambling show here. Uh, very excited to get that intro back in the mix. We were just discussing our plans for the season. Right around the corner, we got our over-under podcast next week. Hopefully, we'll get some guests on there. Uh, we'll do AFC first, I believe, and then NFC, unless uh something comes up and changes that, maybe the guests. And uh then in the after that, I think we'll have one final preview podcast for the season, and then we will have our first uh gambling podcast, right? Yeah, yeah, that's crazy. I know it is absolutely here, and I will say this now, and I know I'm gonna be betting week one, but week one too. This is where we always burn ourselves. Let's take it slow. Bet on your futures, just like we're about to talk about in this podcast. And let's let's uh walk into the pool because diving in head first can sometimes lead you uh financially strapped for when you actually know these teams and who to bet on and and who to ride. So uh let's dive into the news a little bit. Some more injury news going around the league. I saw Jaden Higgins, the Texans. Uh I was gonna say number two, maybe number two, but uh second year wide receiver. Uh tore his ACL in practice. That's a bummer because he was really coming on strong at the end of last season. I think I picked him up in a fantasy league. Now it's he was like playable, you know, not exactly who he wanted, but I think he had a real opportunity to define a role for himself in that offense. And his season's cut short before it even starts, and now you got to wait all the way till 2027 to really see what Jaden Higgins can be. And it's just a bummer for a young player with a a lot of potential.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, he had the size and speed, and he was gonna be really fun opposite uh Nico, and then they'd have tank down the slot, and we won't get to see that this year, but I hope he recovers well and is able to uh to come back from it.
SPEAKER_03No, a hundred percent. I I think you said it perfectly. Like they just need that number two receiver. The digs thing didn't exactly work out last year, and now you're kind of sitting around with hoping Jalen Noel becomes a guy that's more than a gadget player. Uh the other guy from Iowa State that they drafted, Tank Dell, he's got a really hit the ground running coming back from a devastating injury. Uh, I believe on Christmas, right? Am I wrong about that? I think it was against the Chiefs two seasons ago.
SPEAKER_02I don't remember exactly.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, me neither. But it was a devastating injury. Um, CJ Stroud was crying on the field. They did get, speaking of the Chiefs, Justin Watson, who's been uh the role player for them for a long time. And then they've had Xavier Hutchinson for a minute, but there's a there's just a real hole in that offense for number two wide receiver, and I think Jaden Higgins was gonna fill that perfectly.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So uh definitely a bad situation for them. Uh, I hope they can figure it out. I think the Texans could be a dark horse if if they can figure out that offense. I mean, defense is is super duper sharp. Um, we had another big injury. Ravens center Danny Pinter suffers a torn pateller tendon. I said that's slow because I always fucked that up. Pateller or Patella? Pateller. Uh, whatever. Your dad's a doctor. Uh uh that's that just sucks. Having your center uh have a bad knee injury there. And they they say that's the one that actually hurts. Like most ligaments, they they uh bust and and you don't really feel pain, even though it's a bad injury to come back from. But that one hurts. Uh we saw Victor Cruz go down with that many, many years ago, and he was like screaming on the field. I don't know if you remember this well. But uh just bummer for the Ravens. I don't know what's going on, but uh do we always have this many injuries in training camp in preseason?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Feels like we've had a lot. I don't know.
SPEAKER_02There has been a lot, but yeah, there usually is a lot.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Uh apparently Sam Laporta also dealing with some sort of hip injury. I feel like he's always hurt at this point, even though he's a really good player uh when he plays. Um I think that's it as far as news. Vita Veya going back to the Bucks, not gonna get traded. They ended up giving him a $30 million uh one-year contract extension. And the Seahawks signed Trayvon Diggs. That's interesting. I don't know if he's got anything left in the tank. It didn't seem like he did coming back from that ACL he had a couple years ago. But uh the Terrion Arnold deal is apparently in limbo. So that's why they went out and signed him.
SPEAKER_02Guess they're needing somebody. I thought they had two pretty good guys, but I guess they're looking for that third.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's it's just good to have depth at the position, especially if you can get value like a a veteran that can, you know, you can sign close to the season, or a guy like Terriana Arnold going through uh legal troubles, so someone you can just have in your back pocket if there's any injuries. But uh they did lose uh uh oh, what's his name? He had the big penalty in the to the Eagles. Um why I to Reek Wool, Rek Woolen. There you go. Yeah. Um Chargers, are they gonna be snake bitten yet again? Tyler Biades, their center injured is ACL. Not a tear, apparently, but definitely something that's gonna require a lot of work. And if that offensive line gets hurt, all the plans and bringing in Mike McDaniel might all be for naught. Yeah, kind of sad way to start the podcast. There's a lot of injuries. Uh let's talk about oh, this is this headline uh is good for comedy to get us into the Raiders thing. Deshaun Watson doesn't care whether Brown's fans boo him. Maybe you should. Maybe that's the problem, Deshaun. Okay. That's a that's a headline you read, and you're like, does he not think he's the bad guy? I mean, probably not if he did what he did, but like, come on, man. Just never say anything. Like, he of all people should be doing the press conferences and just saying, this team's trying to win games, like for every question. Um, doesn't he have that dumb big back tattoo that has like a missing spot for a Super Bowl ring? I don't remember that. I think he got something like that, and it's like, all right, buddy. Um what else? What else did I see? Uh let's talk about the Raiders game. It was Fernando Mendoza's first start, who I will be referring to as Nando because Ron loves the nickname Nando. Uh, my dad, for people out there listening, um, got his first start against the Texans, played a whole half. It wasn't the prettiest football ever, and the Texans were sitting a lot of people, but their backups would be starters on a lot of teams. The thing I was concerned about with his start wasn't the pick six. Like, you're a rookie, you're gonna be making mistakes, and I don't expect him to be the best quarterback in the NFL when he steps onto the field. He had a couple nice throws, he did some stuff, he threw a bad pick six. He did go dive after the guy, too, which I was at work and I was like, please don't get hurt, like in the preseason diving at a uh guy's legs. But the concern I had was that he's getting hit. He's getting hit a lot, and it wasn't our full starting offensive line, and you really hope that we've figured out those problems. But if this offensive line is anything close to what it was last year in terms of being bad, I really do think we should start Kirk Cousins. I wasn't, I've been saying I want to start Fernando, but he can't get beat up like that. And I know it's the Texans, so I kind of took it with a grain of salt, but did Avion Clowney getting in there? Getting a big hit on him, that kind of I was like, Jesus Christ. What year is it? I was like, do I have dementia? Like, but I for I've just forgot they signed him. I think he had five hits on him in a half of football, and he only got three points on the board, so not great.
SPEAKER_02But uh I think what the plan is gonna be for y'all is to start him after your bye week and week 13. Because you do have a little bit of a gauntlet.
SPEAKER_03No way. If if for I will give you $100 if Fernando Mendoza doesn't start before week 13.
SPEAKER_02Okay. That's crazy. I just think that's gonna be their plan. They're gonna just wait until the bye week and then No. Because you guys you got some you got some teams, some deep.
SPEAKER_03But that's why we start them right away. Because think about the gauntlet you're talking about is absolutely true. And we do not have an easy schedule, but we play in a tough division, so that's just kind of part of our course. But if you start in week one, you get Dolphins, Chargers, Saints to hit the ground running. And if you wait and Kirk sucks and they're trying to save the season, like say like week four or five, where that happens a lot with these rookie quarterbacks, then you're in that Chiefs. The Chiefs could be hit or miss. So let's just uh go past the Chiefs. You get Patriots, Bills, Rams, and the Jets, 49ers, Seahawks, Broncos. That is a gauntlet.
SPEAKER_02They started before that, and then Browns. They don't have Miles Garrett, but they still have a pretty legit defense. Yeah, and the Chargers are after the bye.
SPEAKER_03No, I get it.
SPEAKER_02Chargers, Broncos, Titans, Cardinals, and Chiefs.
SPEAKER_03I'd rather him start uh with the Saints game, week three, or with the Dolphins, week one. Because like you're in the NFL. Like, you're gonna have to play good teams. It just is what it is. He's a tough kid. If he's getting hit, whatever. But I I don't want to be scared of playing him against good teams. That doesn't tell me that doesn't give me like hope as a fan. Didn't you guys do this with with Trevor Lawrence or did he start every single game? I feel like Gardner started, right?
SPEAKER_02Uh they said it was gonna be a position battle, and then they gave it to Trevor.
SPEAKER_03That was Urban Meyer?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I kind of block all that out of my memory. That was also Oklahoma for me.
SPEAKER_03Oh, Jesus. That was a weird time in your life. People don't know, but we'll lived in Oklahoma almost by accident for like a whole calendar year. Was that just one year? I feel like it was longer. Oh, I got the hell out of there after one year. Yeah, at least we got to see each other. I that was right around the time I moved to Austin, but um, yeah, I remember the Oklahoma days. I I bet you missed the Central Time kickoff for football.
SPEAKER_02That was pretty nice.
SPEAKER_03Central 12 o'clock. I have learned that Central Time is by far the best uh sports viewing time. Yeah. Late games end an hour earlier, but they're not too early because West Coast, yeah, you could get there early end, but then you gotta start at at 10 in the morning. The Europe game start at six. I'm good on that, but I don't know. Well, back to Fernando Mendoza. It wasn't pretty. He had some good moments, but like that's what being a number one pick on the worst team in football last year entails for a quarterback. I don't want to be scared to play him. I want to go go grind the rock. Mike Washington's looking amazing. Clint Kubiak's our head coach, he's not really showing anything in the preseason. Like most coaches kind of keep it vanilla, like, run the ball 50 times.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03Get a lot of screens going. Like, figure out ways to get your Trey Tucker in space and Brock Bowers the ball. If you just make it easy, if you run the ball 40, 50 times a game, and then you're using the play action and getting Brock Bowers involved, Trey Tucker on some short stuff, and kind of taking advantage of what we do have as opposed to like playing into what we don't have. I think I think you can absolutely keep Mendoza upright. You can have it be safe for him so he doesn't develop bad habits that a lot of rookie quarterbacks do going into bad situations. And we have one of the best centers in football, if not the best center. So I think it's a and and two really good running backs from what Mike Washington's shown. Like I think it I just don't want to be scared, is all I'm saying. I don't think we're making the playoffs this year anyway. We have the NFC West and our own division and the and the Bills, like I we must have the entire uh AFC East, right? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, so we have the AFC East, which has Bills Pats, and they're back-to-back weeks, which is kind of insane. We have our own division and we have the NFC West. I think our ceiling is like maybe 10 games. Like, and that's if everything breaks right. And I'm talking, I I think legitimately we're gonna win like six, seven, eight games, and I'm fine with that because we can go get our number one receiver we could build for the future. But if we don't get Fernando Mendoza the reps, and we do wait to a week 13 post by, now you're playing on the back end of a of a loss season. You're are you really learning that much? I want him to go up against I want him to go up against the Seahawks defense and throw three picks. Like that's how you learn. Or kill his confidence. I I don't think that kid's confidence is ever going anywhere. I'm gonna be honest. Because it doesn't come from him, Will. You know exactly who it comes from.
SPEAKER_01Who? The Lord.
SPEAKER_03No. I'm not I'm not laughing at anyone's religion. I just come on, Will. That was I just tossed that one up there for you to knock out of the park. Did not think you were going there. Yeah. I mean, that dude is so happy. You should have seen his post-game press conference. I turned the volume up when he was he was so happy, and like he didn't have the best game here. Yeah. But if Mendoza can start and he throws for a good 3,500 yards and 26 touchdowns and 11 picks, and he has some lumps. And I mean, we that's a solid return on investment, and that is building for the future, which is what this season should be all about. Where we probably have a softer schedule next season, we're probably finishing fourth in the division. But we did last year, and it didn't help with our schedule at all. So I'm joting down you owe me a hundred if if he starts after by a week. That's fine. There's no way that's if he doesn't start at all, though, no no money. No, that's fine. Or and and if and it's not like it's a bet. So if he starts because of an injury, I still win.
SPEAKER_02All right. I'm not paying you anything, though.
SPEAKER_03No, I I know. Give me a dollar. Make it 100 to 1. All right. I give you 100 to 1 odds. Write it down, Will. I'm trying to think. Uh what's the strength of schedules here? The Raiders gotta have one of the hardest, right? It says we have the 13th hardest. Cardinals have the hardest, I think. I'm not seeing maybe I'm reading it the wrong way. Oh yeah, Cardinals have the hardest. So it says we have the 13th easiest schedule.
SPEAKER_02Ugh. Dolphins and Jets, Browns, Titans, and Cardinals.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but it says we're right buck average in the NFL. And the Cardinals apparently have like the hardest schedule ever. Hold on. I gotta see what this.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's why I have Cardinals for I've met this a lot, but Cardinals for most losses.
SPEAKER_03We should be fading the Cardinals at every opportunity. Let me oh boy. This is a funny schedule. Let me read it. At Chargers, I'm not gonna do that in a way. I just realized that was gonna take too long. Chargers, Seahawks, 49ers, Giants, Lions, Rams, Broncos, Cowboys, Seahawks, Rams. Oh my god. Chiefs, commanders, Eagles, Jets, Saints, Raiders, 49ers. Yeah, it's a toughie. It says uh the Dolphins are the second. I guess it doesn't pay to stink like the season before, because that's that's tough. It must just be the division.
SPEAKER_02Dolphins have a hard schedule?
SPEAKER_03It says they have the second hardest schedule. I'm looking at it right now. Um Raiders, 49ers, Chiefs, Vikings, Bengals, Jets, Patriots, Lions, Colts, Bills, Jets, Broncos, Bears, Packers, Chargers, Bills, Patriots. Yeah, that's pretty tough. Who's got the easiest schedule? Let me see what that lines up to be. The Lions by a significant margin.
SPEAKER_02Mm-hmm. I like the Lions a lot.
SPEAKER_03Dude, all the good teams have easy schedules, apparently. It's Lions, Bengals, I guess Saints, Jets are in there, and so are the Browns, but Ravens, 49ers, Eagles, Patriots, Broncos, Chiefs. Are the Chiefs gonna be good this year? I know we're about to talk about all this, but I I have no way how to peg them. Like, I don't want to bet against them.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I just have to see.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I mean, I think Mahomes is gonna be good. All right, let's read this line, schedule, and then let's dive in. Saints, Bills, Jets, Panthers, Cardinals, Packers, Vikings, Dolphins, Patriots, Bucks, Bears, Falcons, Titans, Vikings, Giants, Bears, Packers. Yeah, I I see the difference. There isn't just like the absolutely loaded. Does the AFC have more good teams and the NFC has better teams at the top? Is that that's kind of what I'm taking away from like the uh over-under and like the strength of schedule stuff. Um yeah. No, the NFC has more good teams. I guess the Lions just don't really play any of them. Yeah, I don't know how they lucked into that. Oh, they got the South, that's why. Because you play NFC South. You play a division in the other conference. They got the AFC East, so there's two easy games there. You get the NFC South. You get your own division. That's gonna be tough, I guess. And then there's how many games is that? Four, four, six. Then they'll play third best. No, they finished last in their division. Oh, fourth place. Okay. Because the Vikings caught them. So they got the fourth place schedule, yeah. Um, so they play l the other fourth place teams from the division they don't play, and then they play the fourth place team from a rotating division in the AFC. I think. I think that's how it works. I'm not quite sure. But that makes sense why the schedule is easy. All right, let's dive in. Uh we're gonna start with the divisions, speaking of. Yeah. Uh I'll just go in the order that they're on the website. AFC North. There's some exact order betting you can do. Uh I think that's kind of crazy because you could have a situation like the Lions finishing in fourth, falling apart at the end of the season last year. But I do like this one-two bet where you bet first place and second place.
SPEAKER_01Exactly. Yes. Or either or.
SPEAKER_03No, exact order. But with a division like the AFC East, I like that. I'm not saying I like it in the AFC North in general. I just like that bet. But right now we got the odds at Ravens, even, Bengals plus 165, Steelers plus 525, and Browns plus 2,500. Uh, pour gasoline on your money and set it on fire. You can also bet specific place features. Finishes for the division. Browns to finish fourth minus two twenty. That's not a bad bet. I think I might pair that with something. But what are your thoughts? Like, obviously the Ravens and Bengals are the favorites here. Did the Steelers have an outside chance? Is there some value with the plus 525?
SPEAKER_02To win the division? I don't think so.
SPEAKER_03Won it last year.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Are the Okay. I know Joe Burrow is really good. He is injury prone. Why are the Bengals considered still a good team?
SPEAKER_02They added some pieces on defense.
SPEAKER_03Did they add enough is kind of what I'm asking. Sexy Dexy? No, I I get it. I like that trade for him. But they added Jonathan Allen. Mm-hmm. Their secondary still leaves. Secondary still leaves a lot to be desired. Yeah. And uh yeah, I don't know. They when's the last time they made the playoffs? Was it two years ago? Was it three years ago?
SPEAKER_02Seems like they alternate. It's like every two years.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I I don't know. The Joe Burrow injury stuff is scaring me. I wouldn't want to bet them at plus 165 with uh Joe Burrow's history. And I kind of like I kind of think you get pretty good value on the Ravens of just even money.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03What are your thoughts on this division?
SPEAKER_02Ravens won, Bengals two, plus 230. I don't really, I don't really want to touch this division, I'm being honest with you.
SPEAKER_03Well, I mean, fair enough. That's probably a good uh place to be at. They haven't made the playoffs since 2022, Will. Where they lost to the Chiefs in the conference championship game. And people keep telling me they're good. I know they have Joe Burrow. I know their offense should be pretty good, but they don't spend money. They have cheap ownership. And it's is 40-year-old Joe Flacco gonna be the savior that they need him to be? Do they have too much money tied up in quarterback and two wide receivers? I think they should have gotten rid of T. Higgins. Call me crazy. If you're not gonna spend money, I know they did it to keep Joe Burrow happy, but I don't know if Dexter Lawrence makes that entire defense. I'm gonna be honest.
SPEAKER_02I think the problem is still Zach Taylor. Of course. I think they have the roster.
SPEAKER_03But they don't fire coaches. Remember Marvin Lewis was supposed to be fired for like five years? How long did Marvin Lewis coach? Like 15 seasons? Uh yeah, no, I'm I I th I think you get good value on the Ravens, I'm gonna be honest. But I I get 16 seasons. 16! Couldn't get out of the first round with Andy Dalton. Uh but yeah, that's kind of my only thought. Uh on the AFC North. Um couldn't you pair like I don't know if Bobata does that. I know some Ravens to win, Browns to lose. It's not saying I can. But if you can, I don't hate that one. All right.
SPEAKER_01Can you pair any of the no?
SPEAKER_03Oh no. Never mind. Uh AFC South, your division will. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I got the Texans with the best odds at plus 135, my Jags at plus 200. We won it last year. Um might take a small step back with free agency, and I don't know. I didn't love our draft either, but not a lot of people.
SPEAKER_03I think that I mean you drafted Travis Hunter.
SPEAKER_02That's right. And he's coming back. Oh no, no, no. I mean this past year. No, I'm saying this last draft.
SPEAKER_03You traded your first round pick for Travis Hunter. So you and he got hurt and missed a lot of last year, and he's reformed as a player as mostly a cornerback. So it's kind of like you drafted him twice.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Just trade traded for a Giants offensive lineman. Um helped share up that offensive line where we're we're dropping like flies. Uh uh Parker Washington got banged up this week, too. So don't love that. Um That sucks. Hate to say it. Texans was winning the division at plus 135. It was pretty good.
SPEAKER_03You traded, yeah. I I I like the Texans there. Love the Colts at plus 250 to finish in fourth. I think the Colts could have an absolute disaster class season.
SPEAKER_02I am um, I've been listening to some stuff about the Titans, though, and I might be a little more out than I was. Um Dayball's been propped up by his quarterbacks his entire tenure. I mean, he's just might be a bad head coach, though. He's always, yeah. But I don't know if he's a great play caller either. Um he's always kind of relied on guys to be able to get out of the pocket, scramble around and do a little backyard football. And Cam Ward's not a scrambler. He's gonna stay in that pocket and try to dice you up. And I don't know if Dayball's the right coach for him, so I don't love the Titans too much, but Colts at plus 250 is great value to finish in fourth.
SPEAKER_03I think it's pretty good value, yeah. Titans plus 105 if you think they're gonna finish in the bottom again. Uh Colts at plus 375 makes no sense to me. I just think they have no chance at winning that division. I could be wrong, but I've I everybody wants to point to the start of their last season. They played nobody. And when they finally did play people, like the Steelers blew them out. We just talked about that earlier. Like and I know they had injury concerns, but what makes you think that Daniel Jones is going to be healthy? I am worried about your Jags. You had offensive linemen go down, and then you traded for David Fafale, the former Ravens uh guard. And I watched a guy have a whole video breaking down his mistakes on the Ravens last year. So no. Yeah. I mean, you need you just need warm bodies at this point. Is it that guy you showed me, the take dog guy? Oh, love him. Yeah, it was I think it was yeah, he's he's the best. I forget his name, but shout out to him. I mean, he has uh football players on to uh to like break down their own film and stuff. He he does incredible work. I never watches like full podcast, but every time one of his clips comes on, I know I'm watching through. I might even watch it twice. Yeah um yeah, that might be it. I don't know. I there's some variance, I guess, with any of these, but I if you do uh where is it? Texans, Colts, sorry, Texans, Jags, Titans, Colts plus 950. Yeah, maybe just throw, throw a little bit on it. But uh yeah, I like the Texans plus money for that division. All right, we're going to the AFC East next.
SPEAKER_02I love this one.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Bills minus 155, Patriots plus 145, Jets plus 3,000, Dolphins plus 4,500. Uh yeah, I don't think you're betting Jets are Dolphins, so at least you got a two-dog uh two-dogged race here. Patriots aren't gonna have as easy as a of a schedule as they did last year after winning the division, and that was definitely a big reason that they were in the position that they were in. I I think this is the Bills to lose, but uh, you said you really like it. So what are your thoughts? Also, Bills Patriots plus 130, Patriots Bills plus 170. So I think there's really good value in this division just because the other two teams are so bad. Um, but go on, sorry.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, Bills won Patriots two isn't much better than just betting the Patriots to get second at plus one twenty-five. Um, but I love both of those bets. I thought I think that's exactly how it's gonna go. Um, I'm not gonna guess between the Jets or the Dolphins who's gonna finish in fourth. But yeah, I've already bet Bills won Pats two at plus one thirty. You can also bet Bills more regular season wins than the Pats, minus 120. So love the Pets.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I I I really do feel like the Bills are gonna come out with something to prove. Like Josh Allen, that all that chatter about you can't win a Super Bowl, he's a regular season guy. It's gotta get to him at a certain point. And like he is a regular season performer. And he's been incredible at that. So minus 155 is pretty good value there. I like the the Dolphins minus 175 and fourth. I don't hate it. I think the Jets are gonna be better than the Dolphins, like significantly. So this might be a division if you really feel strongly about to go with the full order. Bills, Pats, Jets, Dolphins plus 265. Not a lot of juice there, I will say. I'd rather bet plus 250 on just uh Dolphins than Jets plus 475. I just think the Dolphins are gonna be really, really bad. Like they're they're probably the most talent poor roster in the NFL. Yeah, it's fair. All right. Any other thoughts on that division? No, let's keep it rolling. AFC West, we got Chiefs at plus 180. I can't believe they're the favorites. Chargers plus 185. Broncos plus 225, Raiders plus 1500. Broncos at plus 225 is just staring at me.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, that's screaming at me too. I've already bet them to win the division um there. And yeah, I I really like that value.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I are gonna have a much tougher schedule than last year for sure, but they're still in the green here on Warren Sharp's like strength of schedule thing. So that's pretty positive for them, and there's a big reason that they were so so successful last year.
SPEAKER_02So uh yeah, I think there's a fourth minus 240. Not enough value.
SPEAKER_03Not enough value. I mean, uh, there's a chance that one of these teams like has like what happened to Mahomes last year, and the Raiders are just like slightly better than them. Because they're gonna be jockeying for position all year. I don't really like the order bet, but there's good value if you feel really strongly about one of those teams. Mm-hmm. Chargers plus 185 is not terrible. I wish it was lower, though. Um NFC North. We got the NFC North, uh, Lions plus 150. Big reason is that strength of schedule. Packers plus 275, Bears plus 325. I think I know where you're going, Will. And then Vikings plus 475. Kind of shocked the Vikings aren't lower, but they do have a very good head coach.
SPEAKER_02I think I might bet both Lions won Bears 2 and Bears won Lions too. At plus 700 and plus 900, respectively.
SPEAKER_03Oh, that's nice. Yeah. There, that's that's really nice. I mean, I think the Packers are gonna be hanging around there, but guys coming back from injury might have a slow start, haven't won the division, have been right there around 9, 10, 11 wins for a while now. With the first round gone.
SPEAKER_02I was gonna say I kind of like the fourth place for the Packers. Yeah, Parsons is is not coming back immediately, and their cornerback room looks terrible. They don't have a pass rush outside of Parsons, and then yeah, that offense will stay afloat, but if Josh Jacobs is is gonna serve any kind of suspension. Well, I forgot.
SPEAKER_03Oh my god, guys, stop beating your wives, allegedly. Please. I will say their backup running back, Marshawn Lloyd. I haven't really seen much of him in the NFL, but he was awesome at USC.
SPEAKER_02He's a Trojan, right?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, his last year. He was good in college before then, transferred to USC. He he was a really good player in college. I haven't seen him in the NFL uh to make you know a case for him, but yeah, I kind of like him. Uh their defense should be good though. I know their cornerbacks aren't great, but they still have Keyshawn Nixon and uh uh Xavier McKinney on the back end. So like they like with a pass rush, like they should be able to make up for lack of talent.
SPEAKER_02They lost some pieces though. They lost most of their linebacker room. The pass rush is gonna be Lucas Van Ness until Parsons comes back. And yeah, I as I said, I hate that cornerback room already. They look sloppy and missing tackles. I that same guy we were talking about earlier, breaking down film, did one on the Packers cornerback room. And I was disgusted.
SPEAKER_03Not our guy. We gotta find his name. We gotta bring him on. Dude, uh he's too big time for us. Uh I like the uh I I get what you're saying about the Packers. I like the plus 330 value, but I do like Vikings plus 150 for fourth. That division's tough, though. All right, uh NFC South. This, I mean, I don't really like betting on this division. It's just a crapsheet every year. But Bucks plus 205, Saints plus 250, Falcons plus 300. I think that's ludicrous. Maybe just because oh, he is from Atlanta too. Shout out Ludacris. Um, and then Panthers plus 350. Uh he has that line in the song where it's like something about fucking a girl on the 50-yard line while the dirty birds go for three or something. You know what I'm talking about. Um but I love the Saints plus 250. Yeah, I've been big on the Saints heading into this year.
SPEAKER_02That's exactly what I was gonna say. I'm right there with you. I think that's phenomenal value. And yeah, they've got an easy easy schedule, too.
SPEAKER_03I like Falcons plus 200 for fourth. I wish there was more value, but I think the Panthers can be better than the Falcons. I was talking to one guy that was predicting every game and betting all the over-unders or whatever. He hit the Panthers at two wins this season. I thought that was super low. I mean, he goes through every single game, but I think they're better than that. I mean, they took the Rams to the wire last year.
SPEAKER_02They added some pieces too. Except that offensive line and defense.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah. So I kind of like the Falcons plus 200 for fourth. Um, if you're betting on a team to finish third in their division, you might need help. That's just so funny to me that you can bet second and third. I don't know why. It's like you're what a weird thing to root for.
SPEAKER_02Uh I can uh there's one division that we haven't talked about yet where I know the third place.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Well, when we get there, uh do you like any of the one-twos in the South Saints box? Is that's the one I would bet if I like had to, plus six fifty. Not terrible.
SPEAKER_02Saints Panthers plus 950.
SPEAKER_03That division, somebody's gonna win at 8-9 or 9-8. That's what happens every year. All right, NFC East. Maybe this is the division we'll talk about. We got the Eagles at plus 140, Cowboys plus 190, Commanders at plus 475, and Giants at plus 575.
SPEAKER_02It's not. I like the Eagles plus 140 as the winners. Um, but yeah, no, I this is another division where I'm just gonna kind of stay away. Giants in fourth place, maybe if there's any value there. I don't see it right away.
SPEAKER_03Plus 150. Kind of like that. I see. I like commanders in fourth. Plus 175. Ah, that's not nearly enough value. Mm-mm. I don't know why that's so low. There's one up there that made no sense to me. Uh it was Dolphins, Jets 1-2 is only plus 5,000 or something. But like Jets Dolphins 1-2 is like plus 50,000. I don't know. Maybe they just fucked up McDonald's. They're like, no one's betting on this shit. No. But yeah, I I want to like the Eagles. I'm concerned about. I mean, if the offensive coordinator hire works, we know what this team can look like. But they lost their number one receiver. They're so coordinator-dependent because Ciriani doesn't bring much to the table as a coach. Let's let's be honest. They're probably gonna dominate and maul people with their offensive-defensive line, because they do every single year. And so they're gonna be really good. But is there a chance the Cowboys are the best team in this division? They added a lot. There's a chance. So I wish you could do the one-two without the order. Either or. Yeah. Yeah, that'd be nice for this one, but you could bet Eagles, Cowboys a plus 350, and the Cowboys-Eagles a plus 500. If you feel really strongly, but I've been I've been on the commanders, aren't going to be very good this year. Uh Wave and I just wish there was more juice for fourth. I don't know why there is. Yeah. Um Giants of fourth plus 150. That's so low. I think it's more of a crowd shit than that, but all right. Yeah, uh, you get no value in the NFC West. If you want to bet the Cardinals at fourth, I'll just put everyone's minds to rest right now. Minus 2,000. Damn near lock. Um, if you want to bet Matt Stafford gets hurt and everything goes to hell, you get Rams in fourth at plus 3,500. Okay. So I don't know. Probably not gonna happen, but Rams minus 125. I mean, the Rams odds on everything are just so slanted. You're paying money to make money uh for everything Rams at this point. Uh Seahawks plus 225, 49ers plus 375, and Cardinals plus 12, 1,500. I think this is the one where you like 49ers and third, right?
SPEAKER_02I'd love 49ers and third. Yeah. Yeah, it's what is it, plus 130?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, plus 130.
SPEAKER_02Not great, but yeah.
SPEAKER_03Makes a lot of sense. Uh, I think Seahawks are plus two twenty-five is just too juicy. I mean, they just won the division and the Super Bowl. Yeah. I like the Rams. I think the Rams are going to be good, but we saw what happened last year. Like, they looked like the best team in the league. And then some things happened. Yeah, they sure'd up some of their weak points, but they still have an aging quarterback with some back concerns and not like a world-beating offensive line.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's fair. So I like the Rams a lot. This one in them. I've made a parlay with a couple winners and got them in there.
SPEAKER_03Makes sense. Rams, Seahawks, 49ers, Cardinals, plus 300. I wonder what would happen if you'd go plus money if you just bet on the odds right now, the order that Vegas thinks they're gonna fall in. Based on the odds. If you just bet all of those, like, I mean, let's just say 10 bucks just to do it, but uh at 100 bucks, like if you would be plus or minus money at the end of the season. Because you only really got to hit like two. Yeah. A lot of them are like plus 700. So I don't know. Something to think about. Maybe someone out there will do it. Uh, but you said you had a division winner parlay, what you got?
SPEAKER_02Bills, Broncos, Rams, and Saints plus 3653. Ooh, that's a lot of jokes.
SPEAKER_03Bills, Rams, Broncos, Saints. You said. Yeah. Yeah, Saints and uh Broncos really juicing that up. I like that. Uh are we gonna do that thing where we predict everything like the exact same? Uh I hope not either. We're just like we've been doing this for too long and we think too similarly about football. Well, when we get hot, we get hot to get there. And that's that's always fun. We'll never forget the uh the Bengals, Rams, Super Bowl year, that playoffs. Oh, yeah. I think Will went uh 11 and 1. No, there's 13 games. Uh 12-1, and I went I think it's 12 and one. 10 and 3? Yeah. Something like that. We both made thousands of dollars. It was awesome.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, you kept nailing the over-unders on that on that playoff games too. That was fun.
SPEAKER_03I one of the games I missed was the Bengals in the Super Bowl, and I had already made so much money, I was just like, ah, fuck it. We just rode them all the way there. I was like, Yeah, we did. Why would I bet against them now?
SPEAKER_02I missed the I had an exact score. I think I bet 2421 and 2420. So I almost made another thousand dollars off of that bet, too.
SPEAKER_03God, you could see, you can hear our voices just reminiscing about that. Like it will we know it will never happen again, but it was we did. I probably should have ended the podcast there. Were we doing it then? No, we had to be. Yeah, definitely. That was the first year that it was just us. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02That was Oklahoma. I was trapped out in Oklahoma, and I was like, I got nothing to do.
SPEAKER_03It's kind of how it started. Ethan moved to LA, I've moved to Austin, you've moved to Oklahoma, and you're like, Ethan got so busy with like band stuff. He was still doing it more than that guy.
SPEAKER_02I was like, hey, like, I'm not doing anything. I am doing a lot of sports betting. Do you want to try to bring this on as like a little side thing? And you're like, I love that idea.
SPEAKER_03Oh, at the same time, I think that year, oh my god, I was doing so much. That year I was doing full previews with Mike and Ethan. And then also the gambling pre I couldn't even imagine having that much time now. But um let's let's talk about. Some of our favorite to make the playoffs, to not make the playoffs bets. Then we'll head into props. I don't we don't have to go through every single one, but I think just any that the value really steps to us.
SPEAKER_02I think I mentioned Seahawks more wins than Niners, minus 120. No that bet out there.
SPEAKER_03That's just that bet. I like that a lot. I think the Seahawks are gonna be really, really good again if they don't win the division. Um see Vegas will tell you, or Bovada or whatever you reason will tell you the things about some of these teams. Like commanders to make the playoffs, no, minus 290. People are talking about them like they're back because Jaden Daniels is healthy. I do not agree. I kind of like Bucks to not make the playoffs, minus 170. Yes, is plus 130, and they're the favorites in that division. Really? Yeah. I mean, there's still plus money on the division, but I like both of those. Uh it's not a ton of value, but maybe you pair them together. Um what else? What else? Anything jumping off the screen of you?
SPEAKER_02Uh I've already mentioned Niners a whole lot. Uh them to miss the playoffs, I think, is plus money. I can't get the odds right now. I'm completely lost on here.
SPEAKER_03But the 49ers to make the playoffs?
SPEAKER_02To miss the playoffs.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, plus 120. Okay. I like that one a lot too.
SPEAKER_02Um other teams, you're not gonna get great value, but you can parlay them together. Colts, Titans, Browns, Giants, Dolphins, Niners.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah. I mean, that would be like a massive parlay. Do you want me to see what it would be? Sure. What'd you say? Let me Colts, Titans, Browns. Hold on, hold on, hold on. I gotta scroll through all these. No. Let's kind of find out on fan duel. It's so much easier on fan duel. I know. I know. I'm still in Texas, man. Gotta make do with what I got. Colts, Titans, Browns. Oh, it's not letting me parlay them. Why not?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I can't either. It's all good. I have, but yeah, I'm I can't at the moment.
SPEAKER_03It's all good. All right. Um, who else here? To make playoffs? Yeah. Bears a yes is minus 105. Yeah. Some pretty good value there. Bengals, no, plus 150. Just going off the track record. Keeps happening.
SPEAKER_02Oh, it's every two years they're good. So this year they're gonna be.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, but they haven't made the playoffs since they lost in the conference championship game to the Chiefs in 2022. I guess it would have been 2023 for the playoffs, but what do you mean? That's two years. They're gonna be good again. Uh Chiefs no is plus one fifty. I don't want to bet against them, I'm gonna be honest, but your Jags are right on the border. Yes, minus 110, no, minus 120. Feel strongly about that team, kind of go for it. Packers, no, is minus 105 if their slow starts kind of catch up to him. Yeah. Broncos, yes is minus 150. I still think that's good value.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, Rams, Seahawks, Bills, Ravens, Lions, Broncos, that's who I have in the to make the playoffs as my favorites.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Um Vikings no is minus 200. That's interesting. Saints, yes, plus 170. Love it. Yeah, I think that's the ones that are uh peeking out to me. Yeah, anything else?
SPEAKER_02I like it. Um just some props. Uh parlays.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Throw out uh throw out your favorite props. They'll talk about some of these uh fun ones.
SPEAKER_02I know I sent this to you already, but Bears has scored one plus touchdown in every regular season game plus one fifteen. I already threw 50 bucks on it. Love it. I like it. They're trying to break the trying to break the record, and uh yeah, no, I love this bet. Um I don't know, I've already kind of thrown some of these props out. Uh Saquon over a thousands minus one fifteen, Michael Wilson over a thousands plus four ninety. You can pair those the other two and get really good value. Um I like DJ Moore a lot. I think his connection with with Josh Allen is real, and they're gonna be a lot of fun. I like Baker. He's gonna be pissed off trying to get a better contract, and I think him just over 3,500 passing is is a lock. Yeah. Your boy, Brad Bowers, over six and a half touchdowns. You wanna run that back? Yeah. We did that last year and he got there, even though he didn't play for most of the season.
SPEAKER_03Man's never had less than I think it was like five and a half for a lot of a lot of books last year. Man's never stayed.
SPEAKER_02He can uh he could I mean it's just gonna be try to get him the ball and then let your run game carry you through.
SPEAKER_03Is I am I stupid? Yes, friendly. I like DJ Moore over eight hundred and twenty-four and a half yards. Love it actually.
SPEAKER_02Yep. That's in my parlay.
SPEAKER_03Oh, really?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_03That's hilarious. We uh we are the same. That is so funny. I like pickings over a thousand yards, a thousand yards or more.
SPEAKER_01What's that? Is that minus one ten? Minus one twenty-five. Okay. I think they're gonna throw the ball a lot. Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_03Um I like BTJ, your guy over 724 and a half. Stays healthy.
SPEAKER_02Can get there.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you really want to bet on guys that are gonna stay healthy. I don't even know if this matter, but Buka dealing with the turf toe under 899 and a half yards.
SPEAKER_02I can't bet that. I've already bet him plus a thousand a bunch. So I just I physically cannot bring myself to it.
SPEAKER_03I get it. I get it.
SPEAKER_02And I can't cash out now either. It's dropped too low.
SPEAKER_03I like, I mean, I like receiver bets. Like if you're if you're really strong in a guy, you think he's gonna be healthy play the whole season? Like, I think just riding a guy's over yards is just kind of a fun thing to do. Uh Chris Olave over a thousand twenty-four and a half yards. So a thousand twenty-five and more.
SPEAKER_02Tyson, they're they're looking for a receiver right now, is what I heard. Who? The Saints are just looking for to bring some veteran in, or they're looking for a guy to replace Tyson.
SPEAKER_03I like that. What about Devontae Adams over nine and a half touchdowns? Love that. I feel like he could have that by week seven.
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_03So anything like last year. Um kind of sprolling around here.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna throw my parlay real quick. It's plus eleven forty-one. It is that DJ Moore over 825, Michael Wilson over 700, Haker over 3,500 passing, and Towers over six and a half touchdowns, plus 1141.
SPEAKER_03That's really good. 11 something, you said? 1141. Yeah. 41 is a good luck number for me, so. Is it? It was my uh high school football number.
SPEAKER_02And the same amount of touchdowns you scored in high school football.
SPEAKER_03Just my senior year, dude. I tell you two games on JV. I I uh or I scored in two games on JV, I scored four touchdowns four different ways. No. Yeah. Yeah, I was an all-purpose kind of guy. I returned punts freshman in JV, like my freshman and sophomore year. I was technically on varsity for the playoffs my sophomore year. I don't know why I said that, like I have something to prove. Um, but we won the title. I got my ring. Um, but no, uh, I I picked six to get on a terrible out route the first game. That was my first touchdown ever in all playing football. I just never was like a uh ball carrying guy. Uh I returned a punt for a touchdown. I think my freshman year I did too. But I returned a punt for a touchdown. I caught a touchdown and I ran into touchdown on the round and had a pick six. I I mean a dominant Heisman level season, one might say. That was pretty cool. We did play like the most garbage team ever, though.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Leave that part out. They punted from like their own goal line to like the 35 or whatever. Maybe the 40. I'll give myself 40 yard touch punt return touchdown, whatever. Um I was a big drop the ball as soon as I crossed the goal line guy. Oh, no, but like like no, no, no, no, not like as you know what I mean. Like, I didn't know what to do because we weren't allowed to celebrate for whatever. So like I would just like run into the end zone and just drop the ball because that was like my celebration. Um we got uh I like B. John Robinson over three and a half receiving touchdowns.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_03I mean, there's probably a lot I could go to here. Um, I like Mendoza over 2350 and a half yards. I don't think he's starting week 13. That's just my take. But maybe I'm wrong. Caleb Williams over 3,600 and a half yards. Almost got to 4,000, almost the first bear ever. There's no way he doesn't want to break it, and there's no way Ben Johnson doesn't want him to break that streak. Can you bet that? Over 4,000? I mean, probably somewhere, but I'm not seeing it. Might be in specials or whatever on Bovada, but he's getting to 3,601 yard. Um we like any like quarterback touchdown stuff. Cam Ward, 19.5. I'd be shocked if he didn't throw for 20 touchdowns.
SPEAKER_02Caleb over 4,000s plus 260.
SPEAKER_03I like that a lot. They they're gonna get him that. I mean, he's gonna be the best Bears quarterback ever. Uh, and then we got some fun ones where you can bet the field. Like most INTs. Geno Smith is leading that category. Your boy Trevor in third, plus 1200.
SPEAKER_02For most interceptions?
SPEAKER_03Most interceptions. I wouldn't be shocked if it was a Cam Ward plus 1600. Malik Willis also plus 1600. I think there's some good value with those guys. You gotta play the whole season. That's a that's the thing.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I don't know if Gino's gonna win it again, but plus 950 if you think he is. Um KJ McCarthy plus 7,500 would just be a fun bet. Just rooting for a Kyler injury and then a season from hell for the Vikings. Most uh uh regular season passing touchdowns. Matt Stafford in second behind Burrow, plus 650. I think if he stays healthy, he's gonna get there again. Dak at plus 750, it's a pretty good value too. Most season passing yards. Interesting. Goff's tied with Dak and Joe Burrow there. Herbert at plus 1500.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03I could see that happening. Yeah, if like it all breaks right for the Chargers. Uh most receiving touchdowns. Jamar Chase, of course, in first. No, no. Was it Devontae Adams? Did he end up winning?
SPEAKER_01Might have been Devonta.
SPEAKER_03But he got hurt most receiving TDs in 2025. Uh Devontae. Yeah, he had 14. Nobody else had more than 11 last year.
SPEAKER_02Amon Ra. Where's Amon Ra sitting? He always gets over 10.
SPEAKER_03Amon Ra is plus 700. He's tied with Devontae Adams. He's also plus 700. I'm trying to think of like a dark horse here. Maybe like a Brock Bowers. It'd be good for this category. Plus 3300. A lot of value. Drake London.
unknownProbably.
SPEAKER_02Another tight end who's well, he's not the only guy. No.
SPEAKER_03They brought in the rookies and stuff. I don't. I don't think so. Um, Drake, they also run the ball in with Derrick Henry a lot. It's probably the Drake London plus 2500. He's not gonna get it, but criminally scores too few touchdowns for how good he is. Quarterbacks suck. Um most receiving yards. Didn't I already say that? Uh Puka and Jamar Chase tied at plus 600. JSN plus 650. Did Puka win last year? JSN did, right? That's why he won Opoy. Uh yeah. Puka got hurt. He was on pace to break the record. That's what happened. It was a good long shot here. Crazy Tet McMillan season plus 5,000. Chris Olave plus 2,000. I think I like that. Um yeah. Most rushing touchdowns. Jameer Gibbs plus 550, lock it in. No David Montgomery to steal his touchdowns. I feel like he's gonna get there. Most rushing yards. Gibbs. Probably Gibbs, but uh I could see that being Genty plus 2,000. I think I predicted that last year. Marian Hampton plus 2,500. They don't have any more offensive line injuries. I think the Chargers could have a sneaky good offense. And then most sacks, probably Miles Garrett at plus 250, but just they'll get plus money. Yeah. That's all I got. Anything else for you guys?
SPEAKER_02I got a special touchdown parlay for the whole season. Uh plus 6248. This one's hefty. But for the most part, it's happened for the last two, three years. So um Derek Henry and Josh Allen are both above 12 rushing touchdowns. Jameer Gibbs, 10 plus, Saquon, 6 plus. And then receivers, Amon Raw, 10 plus touchdowns, Adams 8 plus, and Chase 8 plus. And then Nico Collins and DJ Moore, both over 6, gets you to 6248. That's a lot empty. But for the most part, the only one that that hasn't done it in the bat the last like three seasons is Jamar Chase, because he got hurt that one year. And he got to seven.
SPEAKER_03So they've all done this the last three seasons apiece. All right, one more time, roll through it. I kind of my eyes got a little glossy there.
SPEAKER_02Derrick Henry and Josh Allen, 12 plus rushing. Jameer Gibbs, 10. Love it. Saquon, six. And then Amun Ra, 10 plus. Adams and Jamar Chase, eight plus. And then Nico and DJ Moore, six plus.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Love it. Injuries are your concern there, but they all stay healthy. They should hit that.
SPEAKER_01Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_03Alright, yeah, I think that's it. Yeah. We'll be back for the over-unders next week, and then when's the season start? Am I wrong about the the start the sixth? Labor Day.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. That's Labor Day is on the fourth, I think.
SPEAKER_03Is that early this year? No, no, no, no. It starts the Patriots Seahawks is the 9th. So we actually do have an extra week. Okay. In between there. I do think we should do the over-unders next week. We'll do a little behind the scenes right now to end the pod. Over-unders next week, and then we got a full week there. Maybe we do some fantasy stuff.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03The week after.
SPEAKER_02College. Do some college stuff.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02I have a bonus South Carolina over six and a half wins.
SPEAKER_03Dude, I keep that. That's crazy low, really. Dude, I keep seeing people saying South Carolina's a dark horse. They are. It's probably because my algorithm knows I went to South Carolina or whatever. But like I just keep seeing it over and over again. Everyone's like, my sleeper team, South Carolina. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Cool. Sellers is uh interning at a local driving range for his fall semester.
SPEAKER_03So imagine going to the driving range and seeing Lenore Sellers. That's crazy. We did we Ubered for a football player once. No, got Ubered by a football player.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Well, yeah. Kinda. I mean, he was a football player. He was on a practice squad. Jamarcus. He's an Uber, but he drove us. No, yes. He was not an Uber. He was dating Will's at the time girlfriend's friend.
SPEAKER_00Roommate, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Oh, well, okay. Yeah. I'm sorry. I don't know about their interpersonal dynamics. But he picked us up from a concert. Yeah. And our one friend couldn't believe it. He was like, he's not coming to pick us up. And Will's like, no, sorry. We're all like huddled in the back of the car. No, it's just me, you, Brett, and Liz, right?
SPEAKER_02I think so. Yeah. Like MVB walked. He was the one that didn't believe it. It's like, no shot, I'm walking home.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. All right, but we wouldn't have had room for him because I feel like we were all on top of each other. But yeah, that was crazy. That was that was fun time. Seeing the weekend. And uh what was the basketball arena called? You remember? I know Willie B's like the football stadium. What's the I don't know.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Who knows?
SPEAKER_03It is late. South Carolina basketball. It's gonna bother me. Basketball arena and uh colonial life, of course.
SPEAKER_02That's right. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03All right. Well, that's the podcast. We'll be back next week. I'll figure out what to do with the last week. I guess because Labor Day is uh late this year.
SPEAKER_00But yeah.
SPEAKER_03All right. That actually gives me more time to prepare for everything. I gotta start collecting fancy dues. I know we're all excited. Football's around the corner.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_03From me, Cole Smithson, the locksmith from Slick Willy Will I'm Felt the Wettest Man in Podcasting. And from all of you out there to make the podcast so special, we thank you. Peace.
