Teas of the First Ladies with Ruthmary McIlhenney

Gettysburg
Join our DAR chapter for a delightful talk with Ruthmary McIlhenney who recently regaled us with stories of teas, coffee, politics, and culture all from the "Temporary White House" of President Eisenhower in Gettysburg PA.
Ruthmary McIlhenney is an avid student and admirer of Mamie Eisenhower. She has studied at the Eisenhower Academy, a summer Institute for Teachers, which offers detailed instruction on the presidency, politics, and lifestyle of Dwight D. Eisenhower and the 1950's. Amongst her many charitable activities, Ms. McIlhenney serves on the Dwight D. Eisenhower Society's Board of Trustees, and has volunteered at the Eisenhower Historical Site in Gettysburg, PA since 1991.
