Hello, I am Joshua P. Warren, and this is Joshua P. Warren Daily. You know, I recently bought something really cool, one of those things I've wanted for years, and um it's funny because I could have bought this more more recently, but uh I just didn't even think about it. I haven't thought about it in a long time. About 15 years ago, if you uh really wanted to make me and my research theme ecstatic, you would have uh given us money to buy a FLIR thermal camera because back then they cost around $25,000, and at that time we didn't have $25,000 to buy one piece of equipment. And so uh we even did a little fundraiser for a while, and we just never could hit that mark. So, you know, I've gotten to use FLIR thermal imaging on a number of occasions over the years uh on TV steps, and I've always loved it, but uh just recently it occurred to me, you know, I need to look back into the FLIR thermal technology. And uh now, boy, uh thanks to the way that things have become uh miniaturized and things are so much more affordable, uh, it is easier than ever to get a FLIR thermal camera. And so I bought one and I am just uh delighted. I mean, this thing is so sensitive that if you put your hand down on a table and just leave it there for a few seconds and then lift up your hand, you can still see your handprint right there. It stays maybe 20 seconds. Or uh depending on the types of shoes you're wearing. If you you're walking around uh on the on the floor, uh you can see uh the footprints that remain on the floor. So it's it's very nuanced, it's very sensitive, and so I am right now planning some really cool little investigations using the FLIR thermal imaging technology. And I'll be telling you more about that as time goes on because I think that you'll be quite excited to learn about the new way that I'm going to be implementing this technology, and it really is uh this is different than just going around looking for phantoms. Now I have something very specific in mind that I'm gonna be doing with this, so you can look forward to that. Uh considering that we actually are uh on the countdown to Halloween, I think that what I'm gonna do uh here and there over the next couple weeks is tell you some stories about spooky things that have happened to me throughout my life. Uh, if you followed me for a while, you probably know some of these stories already. But for example, in an upcoming podcast, I'll tell you the story about the first time I saw a ghost. I think I have to start there, because no matter what you document, as they say, seeing is believing. So I'm going to be sharing some stories with you that are fitting for Halloween over the next couple weeks. In the meantime, I want to give you a few updates. Uh, of course, my uh my sigil wand is selling like crazy. Uh it's amazing to me how many people all over the world buy these these new wands when I produce them. I'm just producing this one little batch, and um I was going to make it available for the next, well, for seven days, which would end on Saturday, Sunday, but I don't think I'm gonna make it that far. Um, we have already sold these to people in Australia, Canada, England, uh, parts of Asia, um, and one woman bought four ones. Um, a lot of people also they go to the website and uh they learn about my institute, the Warren Institute for Paranormal Studies. And so I have a lot of new students who are signing up, taking my online courses so they can get certified and appropriate and professional paranormal investigation. So very, very happy with how everything's booming right now. So I'll keep you updated on that. Um, I also want to let you know that fortunately I have continued to receive some uh texts from my friends in Puerto Rico just to give you an update there. From what I can tell, everyone is okay. I still have not heard from everybody, but uh from what I can tell, it's just a matter of same old, same old. Uh most of them do not have electricity, and uh most of them uh their their water situation is wishy-washy. Even if they have water, it might not be the cleanest water. So um I am understanding at this point that they are going to, the governor says they're going to have just about all the power back on by December. So I I that sounds about right to me. I figured they'd probably try to have everything up and running again by Christmas. But it's gonna be really interesting when I make it back to Puerto Rico to hear some of the survival stories from people who have had to really revert back to pioneer living. And if you don't know this, uh, you know, I wrote a novel about Puerto Rico. It's set in Puerto Rico, it's an action thriller, it's called the Gringo Maniac Murder Spree. It's published by Lisa Hagan Books. And as soon as this incident happened in Puerto Rico, I told Lisa that uh I wanted to donate all the proceeds uh from the book to the relief fund for the hurricane in Puerto Rico. So that's gonna for all the sales the rest of the year, all the money is gonna go uh to hurricane relief, and I believe that uh that Lisa is gonna do that with uh her company's share, and I'm certainly doing it with my company or my share. So basically, if you go and you buy a copy of my crazy action thriller, it is R-rated, I will tell you that. Uh, it's called the Gringo Maniac Murder Spree. All that money will go to help out people in Puerto Rico. And remember, those are our fellow citizens down there, and they are trapped, and uh we could do all all we need to do all we can do to help them. So, as usual, I have a very, very busy day, a lot of appointments, a lot of crazy stuff happening here, so uh I'm gonna jump off here for now, but I will be soon uh sending you some bonus material that you're going to enjoy. A little interview that I did the other day with a guy who is really just uh a national treasure when it comes to pop culture. You'll understand more about that later.
