Hello, I am Joshua P. Warren, and this is Joshua P. Warren Daily. It is in fact the official one year anniversary of this particular podcast, and that is because three hundred and sixty five days ago, on October the first of twenty seventeen, I announced that I was going to attempt to record a podcast every single day for at least one year. Now there's an old joke how do you make God laugh? Tell him your plans. And so you know what? I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to pull it off, and I didn't entirely pull it off because I didn't make it every single day, but I was able to do it most days and mix it up quite a bit. In fact, it's kind of amazing to think about the different things over the past three hundred and sixty five days that have been on this podcast. Ghosts, UFOs, cryptids, psychic phenomena, angels, demons, folklore, superstition, time travel, interdimensional activity, government conspiracies. I mean, it's just been a whirlwind, and it shows you there is just plenty of diverse content. But I want to tell you a little bit about what this journey has been like because I started appearing on radio programs as a guest when I was just a teenager. By the time I was in my early twenties, I was working as a professional radio host at the largest radio talk station in my entire region, News Radio 570 WWNC, which was at that time owned by Clear Channel. And I cut my chops as a guest host on a political drive time show called Take a Stand with Matt Matan. And that led to me having the opportunity to host my own program called Speaking of Strange. And Speaking of Strange had a run of about 15 years, and that's why occasionally I replay some of my interviews that I did from All the Years of Speaking of Strange. The only reason I stopped doing Speaking of Strange was because over the past 15 years my schedule became so hectic with so many other projects that I just couldn't devote enough time to Speaking of Strange to keep the quality where I thought it deserved to be. Of course, for the whole five-year period that I was often in Puerto Rico, I was doing the show long distance, and we would have all kinds of technical issues. And so as time went on, I began to think about a format that might work better with my lifestyle, with my unpredictable travel schedule and all the TV and live events and all that kind of stuff that I've been doing. And I started fantasizing about the idea of doing a podcast that had no rules. Something that is completely independent, uncensored, without commercials or sponsors, or producers, or program directors, or regulatory bodies, or even guests that can be as long or as short as I want, that I can create whenever I want, because it's simple enough to be recorded on a cell phone, if need be, and uploaded from wherever I am. And this became more and more appealing to me because I realized that I had the ability to sort of phone in stuff, even if I were right in the middle of some kind of a strange situation. And so that was sort of the original concept here. So I started out doing these podcasts on my cell phone. And again, I wasn't restricting myself to a certain time limit or any kind of real um fixed format exactly. And that's been the whole point, you know, is to just not have that kind of pressure where I could just be myself and sort of give you a sense of what I'm going through that day, if if this is of interest to you. If it's not, then fine. But you know, if it is, then fine as well. And so uh I started out by doing these on my cell phone, and the reason that I've I've switched to doing that less is because there were times where I would get on my cell phone. I'd be out in the middle of some godforsaken place, I'd get on my cell phone and I'd get into this really nice 20-minute uh stream of consciousness exploration of some kind of complex subject, and then we go to upload it and realize that you could only hear about a third of it because the rest of it's cutting out and sounds like shit. Um and that was very, very frustrating and um stressful, and and so I would sometimes I just say, Well, screw it, you know, and so those podcasts didn't make it, or in other cases I would um I'd sit down and I'd record the whole thing again, and believe it or not, I have recorded the same podcast on my cell phone like three times. 20-minute podcast, but I record it three times to make sure that I got the quality right. So that's why um when I can, I prefer to do it on my computer like I'm doing this one. So I can see that it's being recorded properly, I can listen to it right before I upload it, and um I, you know, I I don't have to worry that what I'm talking about is not going to be properly recorded, but I still have that option to pick up my cell phone wherever I am, whenever I want to, and phone one in. And I think I'm gonna be doing that a lot more this month in particular, because this month is insanely busy for me. It's my busiest month of the year. And when I talk about the things, you know, that these these topics, ghosts and UFOs and time travel, um, honestly, I think of this as being a discussion. And that doesn't really make sense because it's just a podcast where I'm talking and you're listening to me. But these days, a podcast really can be a discussion because you listen to me, and then if you're interested, you can contact me through the internet, and I will do my best to respond. And so that happens every day. You know, people contact me through uh Facebook or Twitter or they email me directly or whatever, and I do my best to to you know, you know, give give some kind of reaction here, and so that it really is a conversation. And do you know that even though I haven't been able to record every single day over the past 365 days, um, I looked it up and I have recorded approximately 100 hours of content over the past three hundred and sixty-five days. What that means is that you could sit down and listen to this podcast for eight hours a day, nonstop, no lunch break, anything like that, eight hours a day, it would take you twelve and a half days to listen to all this. Almost two weeks, you could say. And you know what? That averages out to about thirty minutes per day. And that's that sounds like a pretty good amount to shoot for, doesn't it? Uh you know, a lot of these podcasts that people try to listen to, they they come on every night and they last two to four hours. And I mean it's just how are you supposed to squeeze that into your day? You have to skip around it, and you almost feel like you're you might be missing the good parts because there's no way you can hear it all. So I love the idea that some of these podcasts are five minutes long and some are 35 minutes long. I think the longest one that I've done is 45 minutes, aside from uh two or three interviews I've done, which have run you know closer to an hour, I guess. So having produced that much original content, primarily as a one-man show here over the past year, um, I started thinking about, okay, what message do I want to pass along here on the one-year anniversary podcast? Uh what's what's something that I, you know, I want to take this opportunity to say to you that might make an impact, that might uh help you understand why I feel like that this is an important thing to do and why that I'm enjoying doing it. And let me try to put it this way. When you are listening to this podcast, when you're listening to my voice, we're in when when it doesn't matter where you are, if you're in your car, or you're on the bus, or the subway, or you're in your house, or your bedroom, wherever you are, when you're listening to this, it seems like I'm there. But I'm not there. See, you might think that what I'm saying right now is that I'm here in Las Vegas today. I'm not literally there with you, but actually, I'm not here either. I have never been. I am a spirit in the spiritual realm, and I am transmitting to this body, and this body is transmitting to you. So when I say to you that I'm not really there, that may seem like kind of a depressing thought if you're looking for some company, but it's not. And here's why. Because you are not there either. You are not in your car or on the subway or in your house, because you too are a spirit in the spiritual world. And I am with you there. You are with me there, and we are only using this realm as an interface through which to connect and communicate. It's like the old song by the police, we are just spirits in the spiritual spirits in the material world. And so if you think about yourself in this way, and you think about me in that way, and you remind yourself that this is just sort of a temporary experience, and all we're doing here is trying to really communicate ideas. This has a great empowering component. There's a a legend about the student who asks the Buddhist master, what is real? And the master replies, What is real is that which never changes. Now I'm gonna repeat that. What is real and the Buddhist master says, that which never changes. Well, what I can tell you is that everything I have ever observed in the physical world changes. Everything that every scientist or researcher has ever told me he or she has observed in the physical world changes. Some ch some things change quickly, some things change slowly, it depends on your point of view. But everything changes. That is the one thing that we see. And so if you believe that wisdom, that what is real is that which never changes, and yet everything here around us in this physical world is changing, what does that tell you? It tells you this experience isn't real. It tells you that nothing here is fixed in place, structured, solid, rigid, authoritarian. If it seems that way, it's just a temporary illusion. It's that way for the moment. But that moment will pass because everything is changing. And here's why that's wonderful. What that means is that this world is a flexible place. And because it's flexible, you can change it, you can morph it, you can control this thing called reality because it's not really real, you see. That is your power. This is your classroom. As you connect from the spiritual realm into this material classroom, you're supposed to be learning how to understand that and how to morph these things and shape reality into a better place. This is your power, but you simply may still be oblivious. Now, every day I listen to media that is bombarded with people talking about politics. Okay, it happens 24-7. And most of the water cooler talk is people talking about politics. You go to any bar, you go to any restaurant, if you want to bring up something political, you can get a conversation going. People talk about politics incessantly. But you know what? Politics are always changing. And here is the most significant thing for you to realize the things that I talk about on this podcast are more important than politics, and that's because politics is the product of human behavior. The things that I talk about relate to the source of human behavior. So the way that these politicians and leaders and those shapers of the world that we envision, that we talk about all the time, the way they conduct themselves, the way that they actually behave, the way they justify their actions, starts with how they think about their relationship with reality and the spiritual world and ethics and and philosophy basically. And so if we focus attention all the time on these political stories, and we give them so much attention that that's what we do, we're just constantly distributing them and forwarding them and sharing them, we're focusing on the wrong side of how to get this civilization more civilized, how to get us closer to that type one civilization, how to truly shape the world to be a better place for you, for your friends and loved ones, and for all of us together. And what I mean here is that instead of putting energy into always talking about the political arena and the distractions and the puppetry that's going on there, and forwarding those stories to your friends and sharing those stories, talk to your friends and your family and your loved ones about this podcast. This is more important than all of that, because we're digging deep into the human relationship with the spiritual realm, and we're experimenting with the limits and boundaries of that, and in doing so, you can learn things that will help you to empower yourself because you're not going to be able to go out there and change the world all by yourself if you're looking for politicians to do it. You go out there, you run for office. How many people run for office? And you know, they always eventually throw up their hands and say, Well, I tried, I put my time in. You can't go out and change the world by focusing on the physical part of it. You have to focus on that spiritual part. That's why we have that great phrase from the Bible man cannot live by bread alone. Yes, you can live like an animal if you just want to live and survive in the physical realm for a certain period of time. But is that life really? No, it's not life. Life comes from your relationship to the source and appreciating that we all are part of this common source, and we need to strive for a more, I guess, often dispassionate way of viewing each other and our differences. And this is how we we start shaping what politicians will do. We do it by shaping who they are. So I want you to realize that you don't need every politician and every person in the world to get behind you for you to empower yourself. That's what a lot of the work that I do is about, whether it's promoting things like radionics and wishing machines or magical thinking or whatever. Um I got uh a dirty email, actually was a Twitter from a guy earlier who said, just stop calling yourself a paranormal investigator, you know. You and and he was he wasn't happy with some of the products I was promoting. You know what? I don't know who that guy is, and I looked him up and he hasn't done anything that I can see that's interesting or notable. I am a paranormal investigator because I have the interest, the curiosity, the ability to go out and to take the time to study things that you may not have the time to study on your own, and to bring it to you in a condensed package, a digestible package that hopefully is somewhat easy to understand. And there aren't a lot of places where you can go in the world and find something like this podcast that's produced by someone like me who actually has the time and the interest and who has made this his or her life's work. And so I do this podcast not to just sit here and talk to myself. I get to see how many people listen to this, I see the stats, and I'm very happy to say that there are tons of people who listen to this all over the world. But there can always be more. The world's a big place. And so if you enjoy this podcast and you understand what I'm saying about the value of this, and how what I'm talking about in these podcasts is just as valuable as the stuff that you hear in the mainstream news 24-7 about whatever that the latest flash in the pan story is, then I want you to take the next year and say, hey, look at this guy's track record, look what he's done with this podcast. I'm gonna help him make this thing reach as many people as possible. It's free, it's short, it's easy to listen to. I need you to forward this thing, every one of them, forward them to people that you care about, forward them to people that you love, forward them to smart people. Now, granted, because I am speaking freely, sometimes I curse, sometimes I get crude, so I can understand if you might not want to send some of these to your grandma or to you know a kid or something like that. But be smart about it and think about the right kinds of people who need to be exposed to this, because if you ever stop listening, then I'm gonna stop doing this. And so I want you to keep listening, I want you to keep interacting, I want you to share these podcasts with as many people as possible every single time, and we will actually start shifting the world in a better direction. And I know it can happen because to be honest with you, I have seen the world become a better place just. Within my lifetime. And a lot of people find that hard to believe because they're focusing on the negative. There are a lot of good things that have happened in my lifetime, and the world's a hell of a lot better place than it was a hundred years ago, and a hell of a hell of a lot better place than it was two hundred years ago, and you could just keep on going back in history and say, yep, the world's gotten better as time goes on. So it's getting better. I have done my best to contribute to that, and I hope that you are doing your best to contribute. And the least you can do is take this format, this forum, and share it with as many people as possible. Let's help us all empower ourselves. And for those of you who've stuck with me this first year and have listened and send me uh positive feedback and good content and ideas for things to talk about, thank you. For those of you who have bought products and come to my events and uh gone on my tours, thank you. As a matter of fact, I just got a wonderful uh note. Uh Country Living magazine just published their list of the 20 scariest ghost tours in the entire United States of America. And guess what made the list? The Haunted Asheville Ghost Tour. We're in great company. You know, they talk about Savannah and New Orleans and uh let's see, there's uh St. Augustine and Chicago, and they talk about all these places, and then here's little Asheville, North Carolina stuck in there. So um thank you. And when and you hear me say this on my podcast, thank you for listening. When I say that, I'm not just tossing that out there like it's some line I've memorized. I mean that, and that comes from the heart. So thank you for that support. Um unfortunately I have to wrap this up because I have got such an insane month ahead of me. You know, I'm doing these events, I am gonna do TV appearances, I have radio shows just about every night where I'm gonna be the guest. So this may be one of those months where I'm back to just phoning stuff in for five minutes to give you a little glimpse here and there of what's going on. And when I do that, I rely on Mobius to get those uploaded for me. So um who knows what this month is gonna look like. It's going to be insane. The busiest month of the year, but also the most exciting, the best month of the year. So thank you for bearing with me when it comes to any kind of laps and communication or or whatever. So I have to run, but I do want to remind you now, speaking of that, um, if you have any sense and you know that you want to come and and meet me in person, or you want to further your education and radionics and wishing machines and all that, you know I'm doing this big event on October the thirteenth. That's like a couple weeks from now, less than a couple weeks from now, in Los Angeles. It's going to be my final wishing machine extravaganza. It's not just going to be a workshop. I'm going to reveal things that I've never revealed before about the wishing machine. It's worth buying an airplane ticket to fly in if you have never uh participated in something like this. Go to joshuapwarren.com, joshua pwarren.com, and click the link at the top there to learn more about the event in Los Angeles. But um what can I say? It's been a year. I think it's been a great success. I'm going to continue this podcast as long as you keep listening and you keep supporting me and you keep spreading the word about it. So that said, joshua PWarren.com is where you can find a link to this podcast called Joshua P. Warren Daily. It's always short, it's always free.
