Hello, I am Joshua P. Warren, and this is Joshua P. Warren Daily. And I believe this is going to be my last podcast of 2019. And I must tell you, 2019 has been a hell of a busy year for me, but it's been a good year for me. But I know a lot of you who listen to this podcast have had an extremely stressful year. And the fact that you listen to this podcast means that we're kind of on the same wavelength to a certain extent. And so I really do believe that 2020 is going to be a much better, happier, more productive year for everybody. Maybe it's just because 2020 has a nice ring to it, right? So I was thinking, well, do I have something profound to leave you with before we exit this year? And it seems that really, you know, what I just try to do here is sort of tell you what's on my mind. And there have been some really bizarro things on my mind. And uh I kind of put them together and I said, Oh, I see the commonality here. So um maybe this is an interesting note to leave you with here before we exit this year. For one thing, of course, I've been self-employed since I was 18 years old. And, you know, I I write books, I produce live events and television shows and radio shows, and I uh have a laboratory and tours, and you know, I do I do all kinds of stuff. And um the reason primarily that I'm able to do all this as a self-employed person is because of the internet. I mean, I uh I think I created my first website over 20 years ago. So thank God for the internet. I mean, it it is it is for me, it has been uh one of the the biggest uh influences of my life. And I also grew up not having the internet, and then the internet kind of hit when I was college age. For example, I didn't even I I remember the first time I ever heard the word email, and that was when I was a freshman in college. And at first my reaction was, well, this sounds stupid. I don't know why I felt that way, but I just at that time I just didn't I wasn't seeing the big picture. It took me a while before I realized what all this, you know, like what the the the shift was that the world was going through. And I tell you that because it makes an impact on the things that we're gonna get into today. So over the the decades, because that I have been so involved with the internet, I've developed a pretty good bullshit detector. Because there's a lot of bullshit on the internet, and you have got to you've got to be careful, you have to have a a finely honed sense, a good sense of smell, you know, to to to just sort of like relize what is worthy and what is a a scam or misleading or deceptive or whatever. And it's not really that hard for me, but I know a lot of people who are just now starting to get on board with with the whole internet e-commerce thing, and they don't understand how much bullshit is out there. So just recently I saw a story, and you know, I get stories sent to me all the time, and thank you very much. Don't don't ever hesitate to send me a story, even if I don't respond to it, I look at it, and sometimes I'll get 20 different messages through one form of media, you know, like social media or another, Facebook or Twitter or email. Uh 20 different people will send me the same story. And I got this story sent to me, and at first I thought this sounds like bullshit. Turns out it was not bullshit, and it was about a new children's book. I have it in my hands right now. It's called A Children's Book of Demons by an author named Aaron Leighton. And this is a it's a very well-produced, nice little hardback book. It's about 50 pages long. A Children's Book of Demons. And this came to my attention, and and and by the way, on the cover of this, it's a black book, but on the cover you have a red, sort of gremlin-looking figure with big yellow eyes and horns and a beanie on top, and sharp yellow teeth with a pink tongue sticking out. And on the back, it doesn't have any description, it just has some quotes. And uh one of the quotes is I wish I had this book when I was a child. Okay, so anyway, there was this outrage on the internet because this book gives instructions to kids on how to conjure demons. I mean, I'm I'm telling you, I I saw this and I thought, like, okay, is this real or not? Yes, I have it in my hands. And as soon as I saw the news story and I was investigating whether or not this was real, I got online and there was such an outrage, I mean, a huge outrage from especially Christians all over the world about this children's book that teaches kids how to conjure up demons, that um it was pulled off of many, many websites and off the shelves. And as a matter of fact, just now, if you go to Amazon.com, which is where I got this copy, it says this book is out of stock. And so good luck getting a copy of this yourself. Here's how it's described on Amazon. It says don't want to take the trash out tonight. Maybe you're swimming and homework. Perhaps that big bully is being a real drag. Well grab your colored pencils and sigil drawing skills and dial up some demons. This paranormal parody is filled to the brim with funny spirits more silly than scary. And there actually is very little information out there about the man who wrote this book. He's a Canadian, apparently. I did find this about him, Aaron Leighton. Uh, this is from the Huffington Post website because he's done a lot of work over the years, apparently. It says Aaron Leighton is an illustrator who has worked for a variety of clients, including the New York Times, Chronicle Books, Harvard Business Review, Target, and Ford. Uh, he has also worked as the character designer and creative director for the Emmy Award-winning animated project, the Zimmer Twins. While Aaron grew up in a small town in the Canadian prairies, he now lives with his wife in Toronto, Canada, alongside a multitude of spirits and other interesting creatures. Okay, so this is a real product. And uh I just received this in the mail yesterday, and when I started reading this thing, uh I was struck by how clearly accurate the book is when it comes to like stripping the basics of conjuring a spiritual entity down. Um all right, so f for example, okay, I'm just gonna read you the introduction here. This is fair use under US copyright law. I'm just gonna read you the introduction to this book called A Children's Book of Demons by Aaron Leighton. His name is spelled A R O N L E I G H T O N. Listen to this how well this is written. Introduction Well, now you've done it. Whatever possessed you to pick up this book? The answer is obvious Demons. These pages contain an unruly bunch of spirits who are not company for the faint of heart, as they love nothing more than mayhem and mischief. However, with a few tips and a little bravery, you can turn these unholy troublemakers into potential allies who can help solve your most serious problems. But before you go playing with fire, there are a few things you should probably keep in mind. So what exactly are demons? Well, they're spirits for starters, which means they are often invisible and do magical stuff that you can't. They also play by their own rules, having been around long enough to know that being naughty is more fun than being nice. But this doesn't mean they're all bad. A little history, the word demon comes from the Greek word daimon, which means divine spirit. So even though they are everyone's favorite villains, it wasn't always this way. Over time demons became labeled as evil. But they're really just reflections of humans. They can be helpful or sneaky, kind or cruel, positive or negative, which sounds an awful lot like us, if you think about it. With that said, they are still demons, so you need to know how to control them and what you're dealing with. And then it goes on to say to summon a demon you use a sigil, a magic symbol representing the letters of the demon's name. And if you know that name, you've got the power. The sigil acts like a phone number, but once you call, be sure you're ready to chat. As you draw the sigil on paper in its specific color, loudly say the demon's name and command it to appear and do your bidding. It might not always be physically visible, but the stink of sulfur and the sound of cackling laughter will let you know you have succeeded. And when you want to say goodbye or shut down some crazy out of control demonic destruction, thank the demon and rich uh rip the sigil in half. This will cause the demon to disappear, but not the trouble it might have caused, so be sure to conjure responsibly. And then it has a few rules here. These demons can help you out in any number of ways, but it's good to always remember a few basic rules. There are five of them here. Number one, when talking to demons, be firm but polite. After all, no one likes a jerk. Number two, draw the sigil correctly. If you don't, it might not work. Or if it does, you might have an angry demon on your hands and you don't want that. Number three, expect the unexpected. These guys are tricksters. Number four, after doing you a favor a demon may ask you for one in return. Number five, be careful. While these demons have no interest in stealing your soul, they can be volatile and definitely do not like to be insulted. Got it? Then proceed with caution. And the rest of the book is a variety of cartoonish illustrations of demons with a sigil for each, and the sigils look incredibly realistic. Like like if you if you were to go to a grimoire from the Middle Ages, the this is the kind of like these are very serious looking sigils. I'll give you just one example. Um here is one called Susura. And if you look uh on the left hand uh side of the book, it has uh the description and the sigil, and on the right side you have the illustration, and it looks like a green spider hanging from a thread with big kind of bat ears and yellow eyes, and it says If knowledge is power, then Sasura is a little demon that packs a big punch. She deals in secrets, rumors, and juicy gossip, making this sneaky spirit the perfect spy. Smart and sly, Sasura can be very helpful if you require information on a particular person or need to share a dark secret. This demon can keep her mouth shut. Sasura's whispery messages are sometimes delivered by spiders, her creepy, crawly messengers. So you might want to tuck your pant legs into your socks. Her sigil should be drawn in earthy green, as small as possible and very quietly. Sh and then they have uh he has put the sigil here. And if you go to the end of the book, there is just a nice list it's called the sigil chart that shows the sigils for every single demon that is profiled in this children's book. Starting with Bor Boragam and ending with Zervos. You can see why that a lot of Christians who are as especially evangelical Christians are uh flipping the fuck out. You know, because I mean this is this is a j this is a book that's actually putting a tool in a kid's hands that's based very accurately on how to how to most simply conjure up a demon. Now, maybe you don't believe in demons or any of that business, and if so, well then fine. Nothing to worry about. Um however, um you know me, I mean I do believe in the power of sigils, and I do think that there is a spiritual realm, and I do actually think that um look that I to me as a 40-something year old man, I mean, this is a this is a cool, weird thing to have. Uh, you know, Lauren and I, we specifically chose not to have kids, but I was I was reading through this and I thought to myself, if I had a kid, would I want that kid to have this book? And to have these very simple instructions on how to conjure up a demon. And uh ultimately I said, no, I don't want some kid who's pissed off at me because I made him or her go to bed at nine o'clock or whatever, and the kid's like, screw you, dad, you know, I'm gonna conjure up this fucking demon and have this. No, I mean, I'd I'd prefer not to have that. Because I really do believe that books like this, um, that are instructional can be powerful. Knowledge is power. I and and probably if if the author is listening to this podcast, he's probably laughing uh his ass off and saying, Oh, this guy's an idiot if he actually believes that a kid can conjure up a demon with this. And I and I trust me, I understand the silliness of it. I understand that it's a parody, but there is something to the process of exercising your imagination to manifest um a result. And it's funny because i i it's like I I'm a big supporter of uh like gun rights. Yes, I'm an American, I'm from North Carolina, I have guns. I know that in Canada it's a little harder to get a gun than it is here in the U.S. Uh, but you can get a gun in the U.S. And I think that it's okay to have a gun, and the reason I say that is, well, uh, unless you have a policeman in your closet who's gonna pop out as soon as you say, uh, burglar or whatever, well, you better take care of yourself. I email I was raised up in in North Carolina shooting guns when I was five or six years old, under the supervision of my parents. But does that mean I think that you should hand a kid a gun and say, here, you figure out when it's appropriate to use that? No, I don't think so. I remember uh, you know, I the founding fathers of the US take a lot of shit because they were imperfect people. And you know what? Everybody is imperfect, and all countries have done bad things. The whole story of human evolution and the the the growth of civilizations is about people going in and invading other people and taking their lands and all you know, slavery is a horrible thing. But there have been many, many, many different cultures that all incorporated that, and it's a terrible thing, but I don't think that you know we can look specifically at, say, the founding fathers, for example, and say everything they did was bad. I think they had some some good ideas, which is why we produced this country that we live in. And they came up with the idea that to be eligible to be president of the United States, you have to be 35 years old. I don't know how they came up with that number. That would be an interesting little factoid to look up. Like, how did they come up with 35? But that's what they said. They said, when you're 35 years old, you're finally eligible to be president. And anytime you take something of power and you put it in someone's hands, there is this expectation that if that person has lived long enough and gained enough experience, the chances increase that that person will use this thing more responsibly. Obviously, it doesn't always work out that way, but that's the idea. Like we you live long enough, you haven't fucked up, you know, so we're gonna put this in your hands. So I don't necessarily think, and I know you're you're saying, what are you you're you're equating a children's book of demons to a gun? Well, yeah, I actually am. Because what we're really talking about here is something that may be even more powerful than a gun, which is the idea of how to call upon beings from another realm who can specifically go out and perform a task for you, which could involve. Of anything you can imagine, including murder. Now trust me, I'm not saying that I believe that anything should be censored. I don't believe in censorship, but I think that it would bother me to give this to a kid who doesn't have enough life experience to take these lessons and put them into the proper operational context. Okay, this is just my opinion. And you know I love sigils, and I think it's a really good thing to educate kids on sigils and the reality of a spiritual realm. But I also think that there you you don't just hand uh you don't hand a revolver to a two-year-old, right? Now you might be listening to this right now and saying to yourself one of two things. You might either say, Oh, Josh, come on. You know, you're you're just being stupid. You're talking about a children's book, and you know, some kid who's gonna conjure up a demon, give me a break. Or you might say, Yeah, yeah, you know, there is something to this. Well, look, let's move beyond the opinion sort of uh arena, and let's get on to some breaking scientific news that is huge. You know, one of the most because it connects, I promise you I'll I'll connect this, okay? Um one of the most esteemed scientific journals in the world is called Nature. And there is a publication they do called Nature Physics. And here's another story, and I I'm not surprised by this, but I verified it. I mean, this is real. If you go to Nature, um nature.com and you go to Nature Physics, their headline is chip to chip, quantum teleportation, and multi photon entanglement and silicon. Let me explain to you what that means. Because I'm actually going to read to you how this has been put into layman's terms by the UK publication called the Daily Mail. Now, you know how that uh I I actually have gotten online and seen people who have talked about Einstein and said, Oh, Einstein was a was a dumbass. I know more than he does. Einstein was not a dumbass. Okay. That may be the truest thing I've I've ever seen. Einstein was not a dumbass. Einstein knew a lot, but he didn't know everything. But he really ushered in a new era of understanding. And one of the things that puzzled him, that made him scratch his head, was his acknowledgement of this thing that we often call spooky action at a distance. It's non-local quantum entanglement. So in a nutshell, you can take two different particles that could be ten feet away from each other or uh ten billion miles away from each other, but there's something that connects them. So you can flip one of them and instantaneously the other one flips as well. So there's a correspondence. It's like two magnets. You know how if you have uh a north and south magnet, uh well, all all magnets have a north and south pole, but you have another magnet with a north and south pole, and you can flip one and the other won't flip. Well, there is this property that exists in the universe where one particle can change and instantaneously changes the other particle regardless of distance. And currently we believe that well, nothing can travel linearly faster than light, which is 186,000 miles per second. But this can do it, this can travel faster than light because it's instantaneous. So, what they are now saying is that this property of non-local quantum entanglement, what Einstein called spooky action at a distance, has now been actually adopted for technology and the internet. That in other words, right now, if I want to send you an email, for example, I I hit the button, and that email has to go through some linear process to get through you. It probably goes through some wires. I mean, like if I'm on my laptop or I it might go through some wires and then it goes to a cell phone tower, and then that thing gets transmitted, then it gets picked up by another tower. There's this whole journey that this has to take. So, what they're saying is that we now have the ability to take a particle of information and instantaneously turn it into another particle of information without going through that journey. Here is how it's being worded by the Daily Mail. Information has been teleported. Teleported, which I by the way, I think that word teleportation was uh the invention of Charles Fort. Information has been teleported simultaneously between two chips for the first time, which could help, quote, protect the world's data on super fast quantum computers. Yeah, all this is some long, some long ass shit, isn't it? Uh University of Bristol Experts, these are like you know, Cliff Notes. Uh University of Bristol experts created chips to generate the quantum information. They use quantum entanglement to teleport the particles between two chips. The team say this could lead to the creation of a new secure quantum internet. The research is a vital step in the process of creating more advanced circuits. So before I continue, they're they're hailing this uh because of the security aspect, meaning that okay, if I send you a message right now with our current technology, because it has to travel one way or another to get to you, there are a lot of opportunities between you and me for somebody to tap into that and to hijack it and to take that information. But they're saying, well, this is going to be not only instantaneous, but also very secure because there is no pathway, there's no middle ground between you and me that a potential criminal could tap into. So uh the article starts off here. Uh information has been teleported between two computer chips for the first time. A move that could lead to a more secure quantum internet, researchers claim. Experts from the University of Bristol and the Technical University of Denmark were able to quote, instantly send the data, end quote, using a process called quantum entanglement. The information was exchanged without electrical or physical contact, as the process allows these particles to instantly communicate over large distances. This is useful in quantum computing and networks as changing one particle will automatically change the others, say the researchers from Bristol. And they go on and they give even more information about this, which I, you know, there's no need to get into it uh any further than that. So this is a huge development because we're talking about the idea here of teleportation. And if we can if we can start by teleporting one little piece of data, where do you think that's leading? We're starting small with data. There will come a day when we can also teleport bigger things. I've always thought that commercially the first thing will be furniture. You go to the store, you say, I like that uh table. I say, okay, well, we'll teleport that uh to your house. And you know, two hours later, boom, the thing appears in your house. Do you think that sounds nuts? Well, it's gonna happen someday. And uh and then of course, uh over time it won't move into food, so you don't have to have a food delivery. You can get your food teleported to you. That's gonna take a long time. There's gonna be all this FDA bullshit to make sure that it's uh it's safe to eat and everything. But eventually, one day, we'll be able to teleport ourselves. So without getting into a big teleportation discussion, do you see at this point the relationship between these two stories? Probably not. The first story I told you about was okay, here's a story about a children's book of demons and how to conjure up demons, and now I'm telling you we have quantum physicists who are saying we can teleport information, we're on our our way to teleporting uh just teleportation, which is a big deal. I don't care if it's just a little piece of data or what it is. What do you think the connection is? Well, I'll tell you. The connection is that there is another realm that overlaps, that overlays our world, in which shit happens. Now that is not the most eloquent way of putting it, but there is another realm in which information is able to pass. And within that realm there is life. You know, the the only life that exists is not right here within your world as a human being. Uh scientifically speaking, there's nothing that says all life must exist exclusively at this particular frequency that is physical to you and me. There's nothing that says that must be the case. There is another realm there in which information is connected, that doesn't go through this slow, bogged down, thick, linear process. And in that same realm, there is life. And among the creatures living in that realm are these beings that I don't know, call them what you want. One man's demon is another man's angel, right? And the way we are able to interact, I mean, that's the only thing that's up in the air. Like, can we actually interact with these things? Well, apparently we can, because if you care enough about it and you you put the effort into it, you can see results. So that is the connection between these two stories. One of them is like this old-fashioned, it just seems like some old bullshit spiritualist stuff, and the other one is super high-tech cutting edge, and yet they both are connected by the concept that there is another realm. And that's pretty amazing. And to me, what that shows is that you can approach the idea of a multi-dimensional existence however you want. If you're a very organic person and you just want to look at everything in terms of like what I can put my hands on, that's fine. If you are a very scientific person and you want to look at what I can prove under a microscope and in the lab, that's fine. Because we are in a universe. It's that means it's one thing, there's one big thing here, and we're exploring many different levels and layers of that one thing. But here is the interesting thing for you to keep in mind as we move into a new year, and you get ready to hit the reboot button, because that's what the idea is. Right? When we start a new year, yeah, it's just some, you know, it's just another date on the calendar or whatever. But it's also an opportunity for you to stop and say, okay, where am I at in my life? What do I want to happen? What do I want to improve? And it's and it's the time to hit the the reboot button. Well, as you're about to hit the reboot button for 2020, I want you to think about this. I want you to think about the idea of a spiritual realm, and that you're part of an interdimensional uh environment, and that technologically we're getting closer and closer to using that for practical purposes. But because you are a part of an interdimensional environment, your brain right now is already connected to all these different levels. So that is to say, we're working on getting a computer that can operate according to quantum entanglement, but your brain can already do it. That's why you already have examples of telepathy and teleportation mentally, like you can see into the future or the past or whatever, based upon the way that your your brain is uh operating on those levels, which we've talked about many times before. So this is an opportunity as we enter a new year for you to say, okay, I'm going to take my brain, and I'm going to create a good year for myself on this mental level where all information is flowing. And here is exactly how you do that. I want you to put on your refrigerator or on your mirror in your bathroom what I put. So so if you were to come to my house and you were to go to the fridge, you would see a little note that I've attached to the fridge. That I've attached to the mirror in the bathroom, that I've attached over my bed. And it's very simple. Write this down. It's very, very simple. I want you to write I live in a loving universe that wants me to be happy and succeed. I'll say that again. Here's the note that you write. I live in a loving universe that wants me to be happy and succeed. Because it's very easy to forget that. And the reason you forget it is because of all of the stressful advertising that's being pumped into your head every day, all the fear-mongering, which is just a part of commercialism. So you can handwrite it, you can uh type it up and print it out, put that wherever you'll see it. And and the funny thing is that no matter how prominently you display it, you'll still get used to seeing it after a while and you'll start start uh ignoring it. So the more prevalent it is and the more widely distributed it is, the better. But that is the foundation for you. Because if you wake up every day, and and you know, if unless you're dead, you have to wake up in one way or another and start your day. Um you create a foundation, a basement, a fundamental level for how the rest of your day is gonna go. And if you wake up and even subconsciously, you're thinking, Oh man, this is gonna be a shitty day, you know. And yeah, especially if you look outside and you're like, oh, the weather's crappy. Well, you're you're going to start there, and you're working against yourself by starting there. Start with the the best possible foundation. I live in a loving universe that wants me to be happy and succeed. And even if you don't believe that, just try pretending that that's the case. Try pretending that's the case and see if it doesn't make an impact. And you probably have heard this before, but guess what? Everybody needs to be reminded. Sometimes you need somebody to smack you in the face, pour some cold water on you, and say, Hey, snap back. This is what you're supposed to be doing. This is how you keep things positive. And I cannot think of a better way and a better time than right here as my last podcast of 2019 to tell you if you want 2020 to be a good year, do this. It doesn't cost you a penny. I'm not selling you anything. I'm telling you to do this because this will make your life better, and when your life is better, everybody's life is better. So I'll say it one more time.
