Reflections on Goals and Collaboration
Speaker 1As we approach the last quarter of the year , it's crucial to reassess your intentions and align them with your actions . How are things going for your goals for 2024 ? Hi , welcome to the Connect with Sheila Botelho podcast . I'm an entrepreneur , self-care strategist and creator of the Seasons Self-Care app . I'm committed to helping you reconnect to your purpose , elevate your well-being and build your version of a happy , successful life .
Speaker 1Today's solo chat is an invitation to reflect . I've been doing some deeper inner work these days , as I've been in the midst of a full season of growth and bringing some projects into the visibility phase . It's exciting to be in this place , but I've learned that , as a result , it's even more important at times like this for me to go inward , take space and recalibrate at a deeper level , so I stay grounded as I'm building some new things . It really keeps me clear . It keeps me focused and open to seeing where I need to tweak and improve . So I mean , as you may have witnessed in your life , success is not a straight line for any venture . So I really wanted to touch on some ideas today . If you find yourself in a similar place , it's an exciting place to be and it's one that can take all of our time and energy , and certainly at any time of year , but especially here in the Northern Hemisphere in the summertime I want to make sure that I'm also taking space for my loves and for the things that I really enjoy doing outside of my soul work . So , as we start this conversation , I want to share a bit about a new journey that I'm inviting you to embark on with me and a group of other people , and it is the Women , wealth and Abundance 40-Day Meditation Series that I kicked off yesterday on my Instagram Live , and I'm inviting you to join me every morning at 8 am Eastern Time for a live meditation session . It's a beautiful way to start your day with intention and connect with a community of like-minded individuals . If you can't make it live , it's okay , because the replays are available for 24 hours on my Instagram and , of course , if you DM the word abundance , I'll send you the recordings once we've completed the series . It'll really make a nice compilation for you to be able to listen to over and over again , because it's exactly what I did starting back in 2020 when I was devising this particular series , and it's been a beautiful four years of using it . So , again , if you hadn't listened to episode 411 , go back and take a listen . You'll hear all about how that came together .
Speaker 1Truly , this meditation series is an opportunity to tune into our inner wealth and align ourselves with our deepest desires . It's all about creating space each day to reflect on what abundance truly means to us and how we can invite more of it into our lives . Maybe you've been feeling the pull to reassess where you're investing your time and your energy , been feeling the pull to reassess where you're investing your time and your energy . And as we move closer to the last quarter of this year and I know it's still just not even August yet when you're getting this , so I know I can slow down a beat . However , still , we are looking forward to this time of the year where things tend to speed up . It's a perfect moment to really reflect on your intentions , while things may still feel a little bit slow for you .
Speaker 1Have you been over committing ? Is there something that you've been wanting to bring to life , but you haven't found the time or the courage to start ? Hey , you're in good company . There have been things and seasons that I have had ideas that have waited in the wings far too long , and then it was go time , and then I decided let's just do this thing , and something beautiful happens , and something beautiful is unleashed in you when you do the same . I mean , I've sat with the feeling of wanting to do more and to contribute more , but also needing to honor my own rhythms and boundaries . So as I navigate this season of growth , I'm reminded of the importance of letting go of what no longer serves us , whether it's outdated habits , limiting beliefs or even certain commitments that drain our energy . This is a time , certain commitments that drain our energy . This is a time , a really , really good time , to release and recalibrate .
Speaker 1So today , I want to encourage you to think about the goals and dreams that you've set for yourself in 2024 . How's it going ? Are you still passionate about the path that you're on , or is there something else calling you ? Or is it both ? You're feeling great about what's calling you and what you're experiencing at the same time . Perhaps there's a project or idea that you have been holding back on , something that's been quietly waiting for the right moment . And is there ever really a right moment ? Well , let me tell you the truth is right now , in this season , there is still plenty of time to make significant progress for this year . We often get caught up in timelines and deadlines , but remember you are right on time . There's no need to stress about where you quote should be . Instead , I really invite you to feel empowered to make the changes that will lead you to your desired outcome by the end of the year and beyond . It's really about your whole life that we're looking at here . This is just a few steps towards that . So , one of the year and beyond , it's really about your whole life that we're looking at here .
