Take a Stand

Can you maintain a firm resolve, and not give up? 
Do you have faith that the Lord is with you and will deliver you? 

 This month we address topics relating to ‘focus.’ We can focus on the Lord for our future rather than on the distractions, fears, and conflicts in the world. 

 We look at the spiritual law of sowing and reaping (Galatians 6:7-10) as encouragement that when we take a stand, we can hope for rewards, answered prayers, reaping a harvest. 

We considered the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego and the blazing furnace (Daniel 3) where they took a stand with their focus on the Lord. They were not alone, and the Lord delivered them! 

As in Psalm 46:1 (NIV), 

“God is our refuge and strength, An ever-present help in trouble.”
