As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to spread and infect more people it is hoped that science will find a vaccine to the disease.

This is an extended interview of the one that was broadcast on The Saturday Show on 15 August 2020 with '90's Saturday Morning TV legends - Trevor and Simon.
Simon came on the show to talk about his 2020202020 challenge that he was doing to raise money for the Medicinema charity. The interview also covers how they first got into comedy, their time on Going Live and Live and Kicking plus what they have done since.
There is also an update with Alistair Baldwin about his recent operation.
Episode 4 - Thanet District Council's Budget, Traveller Sites and Alistair Baldwin's cancer battle.
The Saturday Show interviewed the Leader of Thanet District Council (TDC) Cllr. Rick Everitt about how the Covid-19 crisis resulting in a drop in TDC's income and the knock on effect this will cause to their budget.
He also discussed the two proposed temporary travellers site's that TDC would like to set up in Thanet Villages Ward. In response, Cllr Reese Pugh, who's one of the three district councillors for the Thanet Villages Ward, tells us why he thinks they two sites are not suitable.
We also speak to Alistair Baldwin, who is facing a series of operations to remove tumours that are on both sides of his throat which have to be removed but could result in him not being able to speak again.

Episode 3 - The Manston airport decision with Sir Roger Gale MP
In the third podcast from 107.8 Academy Fm Thanet, you will be hear the interview with Sir Roger Gale (MP for North Thanet) about the UK Government's decision to allow the return of an airport to Thanet after so many years.
The decision in favour of allowing an airport to the area was a controversial one with strong feelings on both sides. Sir Roger Gale has campaigned for the return of the airport for many years and stated that if the decision had been to reject the return of the airport he would have resigned his seat.
We also talk to him about the Government response to the financial pressure that Covid-19 has put on the country's economy.
