And I was like, oh my god, like I want to meet Elton John and I was only 13. I just thought it was so cool. And then 24 hours later, Elton John called my mobile saying, hey.
SPEAKER_04Celebrity crush.
SPEAKER_01My mom would hate me if I said this out loud.
SPEAKER_04With the Grammys, did you reach out to them?
SPEAKER_01100%. I yapped my way into the Grammys. And I'm gonna do it again and again.
SPEAKER_04You did the thing at the Grammys, though. I know. Did they shut it up?
SPEAKER_01Was that your first one? It's my first ever Grammy.
SPEAKER_04You were walking up like you look like you own the place.
SPEAKER_01And you guys look great. Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_04Stop. It goes. And then oh, we got the clap too. We got the clap. It only took five hours, but we got our claps. We've been waiting all day for two minutes. But now we're excited because we got the claps and we are welcoming y'all back to Can I Vibe? With y'all, where the vibes are immaculate. Every time we hop up in here, we are so so so excited. Welcome to the show. I feel like this is long overdue. Guys, long overdue. We are a reunion.
SPEAKER_00I am so excited as if we're in Miami right now, about to vibe. Like, who do I think I am right now?
SPEAKER_04This is what we do here in Miami. And if you're like, if you're listening, you're hearing the different accent, if you're seeing, she got the the bright on-brand dress. I love this go, by the way.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm wearing a very bright dress. It's actually from my mom's brand, Torty Swim. So that's where we're here, Miami Swim Week. But it actually matches your brand. And I feel like that's love that.
SPEAKER_04It was it was perfect. Uh, but like we were saying, this is a reunion because we met at the Grammys earlier this year.
SPEAKER_01I was telling my friends, I was telling everyone I was with, I was like, Yeah, yeah, I'm just going to do this podcast. Yeah, I met them at the Grammys. I was like, yeah, yeah, no, no, no.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, we met at the Grammys. Like that's self to flex. Like, we all think about it. That was amazing.
SPEAKER_04We are feeling ourselves right now. You did the thing at the Grammys, though. I know. Was that your first one?
SPEAKER_01It was my first ever Grammys.
SPEAKER_04You were walking up. Like, you look like you owned the place.
SPEAKER_01I did, guys. No, I'm joking. I'm joking. I honestly I come from a very, very small village in Scotland, and I've had Grammys on that manifestation board for so long. So see when I was actually there, I was actually like, wait, like it comes true.
SPEAKER_04It came natural to you.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it was it was incredible.
SPEAKER_04In your red carpet walk, all of it. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Guys, I'm grateful.
SPEAKER_04Uh, y'all, y'all can hear the story too, but it was our first one as well. Okay. So we're kind of just waiting in line, seeing all the other creators and artists go ahead of us. And I'm like, oh, they're doing this for real. Like, this is like this is your sixth one for the shooting show.
SPEAKER_00Guys, I'm like, I like it.
SPEAKER_05And we have to wait on the group picture for you, by the way. Just throw the show.
SPEAKER_00We did our group picture, and I'm just giving the group picture.
SPEAKER_01I was wearing similar to what I'm wearing now, very bright cartoons, big trail. My hair was up. It was given it all, it was very loud. But like, that's kind of what I do. Like, so you know, and you guys looked great. What are you talking about?
SPEAKER_05Oh, stop.
SPEAKER_04Throw the footage back. We'll throw the footage in there. Um, but yes, it was uh, as you know, it was all very fast-paced. Yes, that whole few days, um, where we got to meet and connect with people, but we didn't really get to like fully know, you know, what people do and whatnot. Uh, and we we saw you make some music. I was like, oh, it makes sense while you're at the Grammys.
SPEAKER_06Yes.
SPEAKER_04Um, so we want to talk about that.
SPEAKER_06Please.
SPEAKER_04Um, especially coming from across the pond. It's a whole you're our, I think, probably our first guest ever from Scotland.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I'm honored.
SPEAKER_04I'm definitely first.
SPEAKER_01Scotland is on the can I vibe map. I love that.
SPEAKER_04Can we vibe with Scotland?
SPEAKER_00Yes, you're welcome.
SPEAKER_04So I'm actually curious to hear a little your backstory. I'm not gonna lie to you. I don't know anything about Scotland besides the bagpipes.
SPEAKER_01That's okay.
SPEAKER_04And I feel like that's probably what you hear all the time.
SPEAKER_01I know. I feel like I need to put them in a song. If I could, I would have done it by now.
SPEAKER_03But they're I mean the skirts and the kilt, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Kilt, kill. I I actually said my brother should have worn that to the Grammys. That would have been iconic. Yes, my brother. She wanted to know that.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, he had the kilt fit on though.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but we I wanted Fulbright's skirt. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04He could have rocked it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I know. So anyway, yeah, Scotland is. I feel like Scotland's like becoming really cool again. And especially when I come to America, y'all are like, oh my god, Scotland. I didn't even know. I don't know. I sound like I'm like, guys, I'm from Scotland. Scotland, and it doesn't matter where I go in America, you all have a relation to Scotland. Oh my god, my great grandmother's cat is from there. I'm like, yes, honey. We have zero relationships.
SPEAKER_05I don't know if we have a relationship with Scotland, but wow.
SPEAKER_01See, you you see when you you try to Scotland.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I have no relation to Scotland.
SPEAKER_01No, no, when they're trying to beat me, they say it like that. But when they're trying to make a conversation, it's the die.
SPEAKER_04It's the burning question. Who really has the accent? Is it the Europeans or the Americans?
SPEAKER_01Oh my god, what the Americans are crazy. I love the fact that you guys have so many accents.
SPEAKER_04Like, don't hear a Florida accent.
SPEAKER_01Like, I just love it. Like, I'll eat an American accent up, so like, yeah, love it.
SPEAKER_04So, what's your favorite American accent?
SPEAKER_01Um, the New York. I did a TikTok once and I was like, yeah, like I'm eating peanuts in New York.
SPEAKER_00And then and it was really bad. It was a really bad accent. And I was like, why are we saying that Margot Robbie? And I was like, I'm sure that might not be.
SPEAKER_03Can you give us some Scotland lingo that we can just take and just eat up?
SPEAKER_01Um, well, there's like a dinny ken, which means a dinny ken.
SPEAKER_04A dinny ken?
SPEAKER_01Which means I don't know. I dinny ken. I don't know.
SPEAKER_04A dinny ken. I don't know. A dinnykin.
SPEAKER_01Or like, you know what you could say, actually, which could work, like realistically. Oh, I'm away with the fairies. What would that?
SPEAKER_04What does that mean? A wave at the fairies?
SPEAKER_01Away with the fairies, which means you're drunk.
SPEAKER_04Oh, I've been away with the fairies. Yeah, I'm away with the fairy drink.
SPEAKER_01Like, I feel like that's a thing. We can make that.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, for sure, for sure.
SPEAKER_01So, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Say it one more time. I like that one.
SPEAKER_01Away with the fairies.
SPEAKER_04Away with the fairies.
SPEAKER_00I love the fact that you asked any Scottish fairies and I was like, well, the one for when they're drunk.
SPEAKER_04All right, away with the fairies. How do we, if I meet a Scottish lady one day, how would I say, like, you know, some something romantic?
SPEAKER_01Ooh, um, did you guys say hen? Huh? Hen.
SPEAKER_04Like H-E-N?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Hen.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like um, I'm a wee hen.
SPEAKER_04Oh like What's that mean?
SPEAKER_01Oh, we I use we all. I forget that's not an American thing. We like I'm a wee? I'm a wee bit cold.
SPEAKER_04Okay, I've I've heard that. I'm a wee bit cold. Yeah, a wee bit.
SPEAKER_01I'm a wee bit excited. Yeah, yeah. I'm a wee bit ready to drink right now, you know. Like one of them. So yeah, okay. But hen, so it means like girl, or like your right hen? Uh your right hen. It's like it's like it's like babe, you know?
SPEAKER_04Like, hen. How you doing, hen? Come on, hen. Yeah, listen, yeah. Oh, I'm eating. I'm expanding international.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you're international. You're you're you've crossed the pond.
SPEAKER_04So, what was it like making music over there?
SPEAKER_01So I came from a very busy household. Like, I've got three siblings, my two crazy parents. Um, my dad was a jazz pianist, he did like film scores, so jazz, music was all around my house since I can remember. My mom was in marketing and branding, so like it was such a like if you want it, go get it household, like work harder, go again, like dry your eyes. Like, Scottish people are very tough, so there's zero sympathy. Like, no matter what goes wrong, zero sympathy. Work harder. Like, that was like the work ethic. So, um, for me, like I just loved music. I used to like put on talent shows in my sitting room. I used to make my sister do it. And my sister's the opposite of me. She's in finance, she's like very serious, she's like all beauty and brains, and I'm like, come on, let's go. Anyway, so um, as I grew up, I just didn't shop. And then um eventually I started like asking my dad, like, please just let me like sing some songs for you. And he just was like, Okay, fine, like like at the end, and um, I did this little like demo tape with my dad, very gratefully. And um, when I was on holiday for my granddad's birthday, we found out that Elton John was staying in this hotel, so I kept like walking about trying to like find him, and I was like, Oh my god, like I'm gonna meet Elton John, and I was only 13. I just thought it was so cool. And um, obviously I didn't meet him, but when the day we were leaving, I saw Elton John's husband at breakfast. So I went up to him, took my younger brothers, Johnny, Zach, who must have been like five and three at the time. Like they're so small, but who's gonna say no to a kid? And I was like, hi, I'm Talia from Scotland. Can I give you my demo? And you pass it to Elton, like this pure like confidence, like no other. And then 24 hours later, Elton John called my mobile saying, Hey, I love your voice. Will you open my concert in Scotland?
SPEAKER_04Oh, wow, this is at 13.
SPEAKER_01No, when I look back as a 27-year-old lady, I look back and think, That's insane that I did that at 13. I'll see 13 year olds now, and I'm like, there's no way I did that. Like, I that is unhinged, but like nothing's changed. I'm still the exact same way.
SPEAKER_04And um that probably like gave you a boost of confidence.
SPEAKER_01Uh but you know, I am from Scotland, so I'm not gonna lie, like the bullying that came after that was I had to move school, it was so bad. Like, people would throw paper at me in the hall. Like, it was like why were they bullying? Who do you think you are? Like, it wasn't like uh so y'all got haters too. Yeah, it was like, but Scotland's very known for that, and I definitely wouldn't be where I am with that tough Scottish grit. Like, it's people always say, Oh, there's bullying capital of the world. Okay, that's a bit much, but it is tough. Like, you can't like put your head above that water, but because of that training as a kid of like you just dry your eyes, honey, doesn't matter what they say, like laser focus. That definitely got with me where I am. Cause I'm like, I'm like with Lusworth and I, I'm like, honey, like, I know they're all in my DMs trying to be my friend. I'm like, I don't forget. I know your names, I I know you live, like, I don't, I don't want to be your friend. I I remember.
SPEAKER_04I was actually curious because um I did read about how you were found by Sir Elton John, but I didn't know how. I didn't, I thought, you know, you just heard your music one day. Like you really hand delivered it to him.
SPEAKER_01But I'm not gonna lie, every single thing in my life, I genuinely have knocked that door. Now, don't get me wrong, I have been built by my mother in the best way possible. Like, everything is because of her. She's taught me everything I know, like genuinely. But like, if it's down to like a radio draw, bro, like even at the Grammys, like it's all physically me going out and like emailing and chatting and like networking. So I like I'm a big believer. If you want that, go find it. Like, you know, they're always like you're like three people away from the person. Go chat your way. This is true. I can yap my way anywhere. Like, we're gonna be all right.
SPEAKER_04With the Grammys, did you reach out to them?
SPEAKER_01100%. Oh, I went to uh way into the Grammys. Look at that. I yapped my way into the Grammys, and I'm gonna do it again and again.
SPEAKER_05And that's see you next year, guys.
SPEAKER_01Don't worry, I'll see you there. We all go. No, but seriously, like I'm everybody always asks me, they're like, How have you done, you know, they'll ask me a random thing they've seen on Instagram? I'm like, guys, like sliding people's DMs. Like, do you understand the privilege we have of like a phone and LinkedIn? Everyone is there, talking to anyone you want, yeah. Anybody, and like no shame, like you can't. And I think the the older I get and the more experiences I have, the people that read it at the top, they've gone out their way and done that themselves. They're knocking the doors, they're being unapologetic and slightly ruthless with it, you know?
SPEAKER_04That's how you gotta be. That's just like that's how you come up. I love it. And it makes so much sense when I as I read this. You've been on some red carpets, and you walk the walk.
SPEAKER_01I walk the walk.
SPEAKER_04Where did that come from? Where did you how did you start doing that?
SPEAKER_01Where did it come from?
SPEAKER_04What are some big names you've you've been with?
SPEAKER_01That's such an interesting question. Where's it come from? It's always been in me. I've always been super confident when it comes to being Talia Storm. Because my real name is Natalia, so I am like the definition of a Scorpio. So you will catch me, you will catch me on a quiet one being like silence, like I won't even speak. Like, I am either I don't speak, I'm trying to drink a white claw on my own, or like I'm at the Grammys, like strutting my stuff like you've never seen before, you know? So I think it's just in me. Like, I can't explain it.
SPEAKER_05I definitely feel like you can't, yeah, you can't fake any of this.
SPEAKER_04Like, this is and that was our first impression of you because I remember like like that was our obviously that was our first time doing like a major event like that, and it was like, yo, like kind of starstruck, you know, you mean all these people, and it's just like obviously everyone kind of has that confidence to be there. Like everyone's like to a certain extent, I deserve to be here. Like I did something, but with you, it was just like well, I just remember they just did my show. They put us, they put us in the creator like van, I guess.
SPEAKER_00The sprinter. I actually I've never been in one of those sprinters before. I felt so lit.
SPEAKER_03I was like, and it was so random, it was just like hoping the sprinter, and it was just like, oh, we're with all these people.
SPEAKER_01But the slabs always use that to the man gala. Yeah, so I was like, Whoa, this is the real experience. Like, we're getting full Grammy experience.
SPEAKER_04And you did, you had I didn't know Johnny was your brother until today. I thought he was a cameraman. Like Johnny just keep the camera rotating, Johnny. Get everything. Johnny going, I'm like, oh, camera brother. That's the art, but this is what I mean.
SPEAKER_01Like, we're just built for it. Like, my brother knows my brother's a DJ, by the way. Like, Johnny is the DJ. Johnny's doing so well right now. I'm like, I take him over. I took him to Sirius XM this morning. I'm like, we're ever. He's here, he's in Miami. So um, yeah, it's just in us. Like, go if you want it, go get it. Like, and it, you know, don't get me wrong, there's one million gazillion nils, but like, dry your eyes, honey. We go again, you know? So dry your eyes, honey. Dry your eyes, dry your eyes, honey.
SPEAKER_03Dry your eyes, hen. We go again. Drive your eyes.
SPEAKER_00Basically, we love that for us.
SPEAKER_04You have an EP coming out. Yes, and I'm I want to hear about it, I want to hear all about it. How long you've been working on it, what motivated it? Yeah, everything.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so obviously, I've been doing music for so long. You know, 13 Elm John Woman. Now, when I was actually 15, I got a five-album world deal with Capitol Records in Los Angeles. It was Ron Fair that signed me. Um obviously he's behind Christina Aguilera, Piscett Dolls. He is the goat, especially of my like RB, my roots were jazz. So, um, and at the time Drake's lawyer was my lawyer, we got to meet Drake, all this stuff. Six months to sign this deal, boom boom, signed it. And I'm not even joking, six weeks into like signing it, Ron gets fired. And then we're like, what now? What do you mean? Like, what what now? And I'll never forget. And they're like, Yeah, well, your Air and R is gone, so we're gonna make you Katie Perry. And I was like, Whoa, that couldn't even sing fast at the time, like I was very like jazzy and small.
SPEAKER_04You said you were 15?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, 15. And uh one the first signed, it was 14, so it took a year to really sign. And then um our lawyer, who's drinking's lawyer, was like, yo, we gotta get you out of the deal. It's like, what do you mean? And I'm as I'm there in my school in Scotland, like, and all my friends are like laughing at me, and I'm thinking, no, no, don't worry, I've got this deal coming, like it's all gonna be great. And then yeah, so it was a year to set up, and then we're right. So that was a real moment, and every single singer in the world has a story like this. This is just very common practice, but at the time I didn't know that, but that definitely taught me like okay, like this is gonna take a bit more work. And I remember at 13 Elton was like, this is gonna take you at least 10 years. And at the time I was like, no, like, watch me, you know. And here I was. So, anyway, from that I realized I'm gonna have to be so much more than a singer if I make this work. Like, I'm in Scotland at the time. I was like, I want to be in London. So then I was like, okay, we're gonna get on Instagram, we're gonna start creating, we're gonna, you know, TV, we're gonna present. I was willing to do anything that was possible to just allow me to be in London. And I come from an amazing family, but my mom is incredibly strict. So she was like, Well, first of all, we need straight ladies in school, and second of all, you need to be able to pay your own rent. Now, my mom, I'm not gonna lie, she could have easily paid that rent. Like, I'm not trying to pretend she couldn't, but she is a strict little lady. She was a strict little lady, and yeah, don't think this was easy. Like, at one point, I had to like move out. I was saying to my friends, I'm thinking, like, but mom's like, Well, you can move back to Scotland, and I'm like, no, no, like I'm gonna do this. So, anyway, along the way, I just I was like, the music's gonna win. Like the music, at the end of the day, all of this is just it doesn't matter because it's about the music. So fast forward to now, the EP, A Storm is coming, is finished. I made it with Camper, who is one of my favorite RB producers. It's um ICU, Coco Jones, like Doja Cat, Akani, like everyone I love. So um, we did it about actually two years ago now, and um, it was all thanks to Jason Joshua, who's an amazing mixing engineer mixed by Mike Sieberg, and it was just an amazing like full circle moment of like every single person I'd ever want to work with on this one EP. And um when is it released? Um, the 19th of June. So like two weeks.
SPEAKER_0419th of June, say the date.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but if this comes out after, it's coming out soon.
SPEAKER_04So is this like an RB album? R B EP?
SPEAKER_01RB EP, yes, and um I do have a feature on there, which I'm not even gonna say until it's out because honestly, guys, that first of all, so exciting. Second of all, this music industry is very difficult, and I'm independent artist, so until that song is physically out, I'm not telling a soul.
SPEAKER_00She's independent.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm like, I can't jinx it. Like, you don't understand what takes, like, especially when you're working with these big guys, they have like 50 people on their team, they have 50 lawyers, they have 50 lawyers' brothers, you speak to them all and get all of the approvals. Okay, so until that's physically out on spot fine essential the link. Stay tuned.
SPEAKER_05Can't wait, can't wait.
SPEAKER_03Do you think do you think it's harder for an art an artist coming across the pond versus an artist being here physically in the state?
SPEAKER_01Well, it it's a catch me too, because obviously you're super exciting if you come from the UK, but the second of all, you know, who cares? Yeah. This is our favorite line in our family, who cares?
SPEAKER_04I always wondered this. Are you in the UK now?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Okay. Sometimes with uh music and acting, I hear the accent when they talk, but in the music, I can't hear. I'm like, oh, I never knew they were from across the pond. Yeah, I don't sing with a Scottish accent. No.
SPEAKER_01That's a good question. Why? I don't know. You know why? So I think it's just because of what we listen to. Like realistically.
SPEAKER_04Do you listen to a lot of American music?
SPEAKER_01Oh my god, it's all but when I was young, it used to be like Erica Padu, Jill Scott, I would say we were older, we were more Bryson Teller, J. Cole, and then I'd have like I'd have different phases, like it could be a Coco Jones, it could be uh Harrisza, um, Summer Walker. Like, no, I like like the new girlies, like I love Sailor Obsessed with her. She's an RB girly. Um, but it the UK is bringing out some bangers right now. Like it really is.
SPEAKER_04Like, I this was about like six months ago, but um, I'm listening to Olivia Dean. And I I it wasn't until I heard her speak, I'm like, I didn't realize we didn't realize to the Grammys.
SPEAKER_03Well, I didn't realize to the Grammys. I s I swear. They were like, Oh yeah, she's nominated, and then when she spoke at the Grammys, I was like, Where is she from?
SPEAKER_01But she's one of my favorite stories because have you seen all the interviews about her? Like 10 years, nobody cared. And she's she has been that impeccable, that flawless, that incredible for 10 years. Like, this is a tough game to crack. So yeah, I love her. And she only played BBC Introducing three years ago. Do you understand how insane that is? BBC Introducing is like our radio station, like new people stage.
SPEAKER_04I saw the video where she performed like 10 people there. And this was like that was it? Yeah, it was like 2023 or something like that.
SPEAKER_01That was the year, but that wasn't the video. I saw that video as well. She was doing a million gigs to like 10 people, and like now it's like she's the greatest person ever. I love her so much.
SPEAKER_04So next year you're winning a Grammy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, well, let's get to BBC Introducing first.
SPEAKER_04We're gonna we're gonna be attending like I'll be there. I promise I'll be there.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah. You're definitely guys, you're gonna be there.
SPEAKER_01We're all gonna be there next year.
SPEAKER_04I'm sorry. Everybody in here goes to Grammys.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, 100%. 100%.
SPEAKER_04Tyler gonna pitch it for us.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, guys. Well, I'll get on it. I got all my emails. You know what the thing is, you know, this is my biggest pet peeve. Not that this is gonna be, we're gonna use this. My biggest pet peeve when people ask a singer to sing and then they don't sing, so I actually need to sing. I hate it. No, it's my biggest pet as a singer. I'm like, oh my god, bitch, she had one job sing. Like, honey, dance muscles. Like, come on, honey. Right. Let's sing.
SPEAKER_00We're here to talk about singing. Trust, I get it.
SPEAKER_05I get it.
SPEAKER_00Okay, wait.
SPEAKER_01But you know, this is you know, this is why I'm really good at presenting and hosting. It's because this takes zero thought. The moment I'm like singing, I'm like, I know, trust me, I know.
SPEAKER_06Wow. You want us to wait till the end?
SPEAKER_04We can wait till we're gonna go. We'll play the game. We'll play the game.
SPEAKER_03All right, we'll we'll go to something more a little bit easier. Okay, let's go. UK versus US. We can go dating, music, culture, accents, food, whatever you want.
SPEAKER_04What do you kind of gravitate towards more? Well, let's go all the topics.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, let's do all the topics. I like it. Okay, so dating, very interesting because my London boys, very non-talon, very like WID. So you're getting like, bro, I can't be bothered. Like, I can't. Like, I'm I'm not gonna lie. I I'm on my way, but I'm still successful young women. Like, either come correct or leave me alone. I don't need it right now, okay? I I can't. Okay, but but but but my American boys. Oh dear, oh dear. Very normal to have so many multiple women so openly.
SPEAKER_05What a American boy.
SPEAKER_00At least my London boys lie.
SPEAKER_05That must be an LA thing. I don't know. Okay, maybe it's LA, but it must be LA.
SPEAKER_01Seriously, like I've got a visa to have to be well behaved. Otherwise, I'd really love to have a serious chat with these boys. I'm like, you can't be that serious. Like, it's not the vibe, okay?
SPEAKER_05Oh, so you take the nonchalant over the multiple women.
SPEAKER_01It's the audacity to be so open about it. It's kind of like, well, this is it. So, like, if you don't want to pick.
SPEAKER_04You gotta pick one.
SPEAKER_01Y'all got divas. I'm going from a London non-talk. We got divas.
SPEAKER_04No, we're divas and we're
SPEAKER_05Sassy.
SPEAKER_01You're all divas.
SPEAKER_04Wow. Wow.
SPEAKER_01It's my job. It's my job to be the diva.
SPEAKER_04That's an LA thing. I'm standing by that. That's an LA thing. Honestly, I have a message for the men because even if we're labeled as divas from across the pond, I don't know what's going on. Live your truth. You're guilty.
SPEAKER_01Even that, whoever that was, that was guilty. You're definitely a diva too when it comes down to it. Anyway, 100% my British men, I'll take a nonchalon over whatever that is in D.
SPEAKER_04Ah, okay. Food.
SPEAKER_01Okay, foods.
SPEAKER_04And answer correctly because You know what my issue is?
SPEAKER_01I have a very nice O1B visa.
SPEAKER_00And they watch what you post and they watch what you do. So I love America and I love your extremely, your extremely calorific foods and the oils that are extremely heavy. And the the way it like makes my face break out and I go back like five, like five dress sizes bigger. I love it.
SPEAKER_05I love it, America. That's a point for the US. We'll take that. Music.
SPEAKER_01Oh no, this is hard because obviously everyone I love is American. But the UK is coming. We've you know we've got Central Central C Show. For actual honesty, America. Like you guys, you guys do have it all. Like everything I grew up listening to, you're here.
SPEAKER_05Accents.
SPEAKER_01You know what? I love a V Americano. Like I've said it once, I'll say it twice.
SPEAKER_04We're up three more. We're gonna do it, guys.
SPEAKER_01And I promise that one wasn't for the visa. That was real. I do love it. Like, I think you I do enjoy your confidence. You have a lot of confidence. The guys, regardless if you've got like five years.
SPEAKER_04You complimenting someone's confidence is that's no small fee.
SPEAKER_01Because I can intimidate, especially when I'm like, if I'm covered to Kila's down and I see her a wee bit, you know, if I see diva clock, I'm like, yeah, let's go game time. I'm like, game.
SPEAKER_04I'm working my hardest not to be sassy, not to be a diva. Hey, yeah, it is what it is. But we have a few spellinis on the last one. So let's get your celebrity crush.
SPEAKER_01Oh, you know, every time someone asks me this, I always say Michael B. Jordan, but it's a full-blown lie. No, but it's a lie.
SPEAKER_03Would you just say that just to be No, but it's a lie.
SPEAKER_01It's like it just like rolls off the tongue.
SPEAKER_03So who's your real celebrity? No, because you know, see. You can tell the truth on here.
SPEAKER_01See if I'm being completely honest, I've definitely met them. And I've definitely like. So say their name. Um, absolutely would never do that. I want free Palomas again. Do you know what I mean? They fight you out. You have to do it.
SPEAKER_04So were they still your crush after you met them, or did it change that?
SPEAKER_01Um That's a really good question. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Is it a bigger crush after you met them? Can we get a hint? Singer, actor?
SPEAKER_01Um my mom would hate me if I said this out loud, but I'm gonna have to be honest and say an athlete.
SPEAKER_04What sport? What sport, and I'll leave you alone. Um I'm gonna get it, man.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna say um soccer.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_04Okay, that's tough.
SPEAKER_01I'm not telling anymore. That's it.
SPEAKER_04League. What league?
SPEAKER_01Nah, you know what? No, no, no, no. First of all, first of all, what league do I look like I'm talking to?
SPEAKER_05You're a you're a prem kind of girl. Like, honey, Champions League, let's go. You're a prem kind of girl. No, that is so crunch. That is so crunchy.
SPEAKER_00I'm joking, I'm joking. No, no.
SPEAKER_05We'll talk later. We'll talk later.
SPEAKER_00No, but yeah.
SPEAKER_03What do you think is the most overrated trend right now?
SPEAKER_01Pablo Escobar. Like, what like you know the song?
SPEAKER_04That's a trend.
SPEAKER_01It's like the is that a the I don't know, but it's like the most basic. Like everyone's walking in a straight line, and it I don't I love the song. It's like, is it Jenny and team and Pala? Team and Pala and Jenny. Amazing song. But the viral TikTok is But is it like a dance people do? No, it's like two catwalks, and it's very simple and very easy. But just I've had enough of it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, fed up. I get it. I'm curious now.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you know what? Watch us do it after this. We're gonna do it after this? It's very easy.
SPEAKER_04Do you know do you know what that is?
SPEAKER_01You do, you look at that right now. You're gonna know.
SPEAKER_04Look at that right now. Okay, so uh um Phil Foden.
SPEAKER_01No, okay. He has like a wife and kids.
SPEAKER_04Are you still going?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I'm gonna get it. I'm gonna get it. What's the last thing you cried about?
SPEAKER_01Oh um. I actually cry all the time. I cry, oh I'm a Scorpio, so I'll never let anyone know. And I'll like be really tough and strong and I'll go cry. By yourself, you're like, and I'll cry, I'll cry out, but then they say crying is amazing because it's releasing all the emotions. So it's really important to cry. And if you don't cry, you're bottling too much up. If you don't want to see a therapist, go chat to chat to pt. Very helpful.
SPEAKER_04Do do uh men in the UK go to therapy?
SPEAKER_03Because I know here is not a big thing.
SPEAKER_01Not too much. Not too much, no. I would love them to. What was it?
SPEAKER_03What would you say? Cry and keep going, wipe your tears and keep going.
SPEAKER_01Dry your eyes, honey. Dry your eyes, dry your eyes on. But it's very important to cry. I love crying. Like you get a cry, let's go. What was it? It was probably something about just I'm a big dreamer. I I have my eyes on the sky, and I'm very ambitious. And I'm very hard on myself for sure. So it's probably just me being hard on myself, and then I wake up the next day.
SPEAKER_00First of all, I'm sure he no, no, I'm I need to answer.
SPEAKER_01I was gonna say something funny. No, that's not my type. Not my type. No, not my type.
SPEAKER_05Can you name your type?
SPEAKER_01No. You're getting you're too I'm getting cut hotter or colder. No, you're you're you're all over the you're all over the gaff.
SPEAKER_04All over the gaff. I think I'm getting hotter and hotter.
SPEAKER_00Okay, well, you're never gonna know.
SPEAKER_03What would be the best advice for confidence you would give to, let's say, someone trying to get in the industry? A little girl like yourself?
SPEAKER_01Nobody knows what they're doing. Nobody knows. The the the more ambitious I get, the bigger rooms I get in with these more important people, everybody is winging it. Me and my brother say this word ragged. Do you say that? Like it's ragged. It's just like raggedy, right? Raggedy. And we'll get to this like big event, this crazy thing, and it's like, yo, this is ragged. It's all ragged. Like it looks amazing on photos, but like there's no reason why you right now cannot be in that room. Like I'd agree. I'm being serious. Like, if you want it, go get it. Like, I understand everybody, you know, comes from different levels of support systems, and I'm so lucky to have a family that's so on me and like go big, go home. I understand that alone is a privilege because people don't have that. And my mom is that tiger mom, you know? But you can do it. Like, it's really I think when I think we put these things on a pedestal, and it's like that's too put together, it's too they know what they're doing, it's too successful, it's too, it's too perfect, or actually, all of it's so imperfect, you can absolutely do it, and that uh it's not deeper than that, you know. And also, do just do. Like I have done you Google Talia Storm, and you will see 500,000 photos of me and all my errors. Now, these errors were not pretty, but I'm still going.
SPEAKER_04So just go do you always find a way to find a camera. That was the first thing I noticed. I was like, every I'm telling you, I'm like, I have never seen so many cameras in front of me, and you had everyone. I just follow you, they gravitate to you.
SPEAKER_01Nice, guys.
SPEAKER_04They probably only got the cameras on us right now.
SPEAKER_01Okay, yeah, yeah. Well, you know, you just you just gotta wing it, guys. Wing it and do it. Do it, do it, do it.
SPEAKER_04You're motivated.
SPEAKER_03Last one, what is your favorite comfort show?
unknownOoh.
SPEAKER_01I love Love Island. What? I love Love Island, season eight, baby.
SPEAKER_04Season eight on the way. No free promo, but shout out Love Island.
SPEAKER_01Like, if anyone's saying they're not, they're lying. I love love. I am the biggest lover girl you meet.
SPEAKER_04You think they love each other? I don't know if they love each other for real, but well, it's different in the UK. The UK is a little different.
SPEAKER_01Guys, I watched your season. There was love there.
SPEAKER_04Where between who the winners broke up a month after?
SPEAKER_01I don't care. If there's three weeks of do you understand how exciting that would be also being somewhere without your phone, no pressure of doing anything, no worrying about the washing machine and how to work it. Like you're just there to fall in love. Like, that's my dream.
SPEAKER_03Who's your favorite? Who was your favorite on Love Island in this last season?
SPEAKER_01Um uh Amaya Papaya. I love her. Wait, why are we laughing? I love her.

SPEAKER_01Oh, wait, why did something happen? I don't know why.
SPEAKER_04Things changed. Things changed.

SPEAKER_04Shout out Alandria. Shout out Nick. They all they all chillin' now. Okay.
SPEAKER_01And Nick was at the Grammys with us.
SPEAKER_04He was in the bus with us. He was on the bus with us.
SPEAKER_01I need to be honest. I didn't watch your season until after the Grammys. Otherwise, I would have fangirled Nick.
SPEAKER_05You would have loved Nick. You would have loved Nick. Nick was great.
SPEAKER_01I had no idea Nick was Nick. Yeah. I'm like, I want to read him.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, he just walked in, just chilling.
SPEAKER_01I was sitting next to Nick at the Grammys and I had no idea Nick was Nick.
SPEAKER_04Honestly, there were so many people that day and that weekend where I didn't realize until after.
SPEAKER_01I'm like, damn. We were with Nick. We were chilling with Nick.
SPEAKER_04He was just chilling.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. And yeah, wow.
SPEAKER_04Nick was with us. Nick was with us. Yeah. He sat at our table.
SPEAKER_01He sat next to us. Okay. And we're on the bus with Nick. Like, whoa, guys, we need to pull us for a chat.
SPEAKER_03Leo was there too, Miguel. I don't know if you watched season six.

SPEAKER_04Should we do a Love Island stream on the pod?
SPEAKER_01You guys have to do that.
SPEAKER_04You have to.
SPEAKER_01No, that's not even a debate. That's the No, we're doing it.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you're going on next year for sure.
SPEAKER_03Who's going on?
unknownYou.
SPEAKER_03I'm gonna win it if I go on.
SPEAKER_01So Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Stay stay tuned.
SPEAKER_01Okay, I can't wait. I can't wait.
SPEAKER_04Uh anything you want to share, promote, plug in? I feel like you're motivating everybody already.
SPEAKER_01Oh god, you know I get that all the time. And you know what? I also get out here. I get that I'm funny. And I'm like, I don't know if that's a compliment. Because that's like what do you mean funny?
SPEAKER_04A wee bit. A wee bit.
SPEAKER_01I'm like, I are you do you think I'm funny or you do you think my accent's funny?
SPEAKER_04We can open a poll.
SPEAKER_01Guys, am I funny or is it just the accent? Oh my god. Um no, guys, I I have honestly, guys, storm is coming, is on the way. I hope you love it. I hope you love the music.
