Um, when uh when like Beyond the Villa came out right after we had Charlie on the show. Literally a month after. A month after. And it was right after we had just got done, I believe, watching his season of Love Island. Not right after, but in the in the middle of that. It was still fresh. So it was like it was still fresh enough to where we met you, we just seen you on screen, and then we got to see you on Beyond the Villa, and it's like I feel like I'm watching one of the bros. I'm watching the supporting the bros. Exactly.

SPEAKER_01So what you're doing with your best friend, in my opinion, is not the same stuff that you're doing with a person, your love of your life. Like we're building a future together. We're gonna say vows to each other. We're going to bring life into this world.
SPEAKER_00That's a different connection relationship than your best friend.
SPEAKER_01Not diminishing your best friend, but it's like this is to me, it's much more serious, much more intimate. I think it depends on the time frame. I think so too. Because if you switch up on your best friend for a new fling, I think it's okay, but now see now you're saying new fling. We're talking about potential. You went from potential love of your life to new fling. That's two different things. They're somehow new. So some people are like they see the potential love of their life within a few months. I mean, right, that's tough. You better be right. You better be right. You better be right if you're gonna cut off your best friend. That's what I'm saying. I'm like, damn, I've been your best friend for 15 years. You just met this person. It could be the potential, but people also do make terrible decisions on picking the love of their life. And it could go either way. You better be damn right if you're gonna switch up on your best friend. Because friends come and go, and partners come and go. It's true.
SPEAKER_02So it just depends on where your loyalty lies. Some people cherish relationships. I don't think it's worth losing my best friend over.

SPEAKER_02My best friend. I just feel like the love of my I believe in the universe. Hamana, hamana, hamana. And I think my soulmate, I don't think God is going to have me wrangle between my man and my I mean shit happens. That's what I feel. My man and my friend.

SPEAKER_01Like I can't have my soulmate and my best friend, like you said, wrangling. Yeah. Because then it's like, okay, what's going on here?

SPEAKER_01I've I've always told like when I'm in a relationship, I'll tell my boys I'm close to like, yeah, my time will be divvied up, yeah, but I still have this friendship with y'all. And whereas I tell my partner, hey, these have been my boys way before you came in the picture. Like, I'm gonna give you my time, but I'm also like I'm gonna have my time with them.

SPEAKER_01Too. So I think it comes down to like if they don't understand that, whichever side does understand that, I view that as like they had a problem. But I don't think anyone should have to like just cut off a side because they enter something new.

SPEAKER_02I think guys don't care as much. But I feel like there have been situations where it's actually really heartbreaking when that happens with women because it's like, damn, like I just didn't know if it's as common to others. I mean, I uh you know I I've been hearing, yeah. So I would say yeah.
SPEAKER_01I don't know how common it is with y'all, but I again I don't think you guys have such a common what 'cause it's like for us, it's kind of like you know, happy wife, happy life. So we come accustom accustomed to doing things with her.
SPEAKER_00I feel like men I feel like a lot of yeah, a lot of men.
SPEAKER_01I think women usually demand more attention from the man than we do from the women. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00It actually pisses me off, but I do think a lot of men a lot of men get in relationships and then they just start um they just kinda isolate on their relationship and they lose those friendships, which I mean that's shout out to those people. That's how they operate. I've just never been like that.
SPEAKER_01It's like a uh a joke in the male community where like it's like we we gotta we gotta beg each other for a boy's night out or boys' day or something, like and then you get that call like oh wifey's calling, like I gotta go.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and that should be blowing yours.
SPEAKER_01There's always the one guy. So I didn't know if it's the same with women or it's like you know baby hub is calling, like yeah.
SPEAKER_02Sometimes women don't even link because they're like, oh I'm with my man, my man, my man, my man.
SPEAKER_01And then y'all be hating men because the men do something bad to them, like we tell you he ain't sound. That's how we sound, and then they make us look bad because y'all never want your homegirls to date again. And I'm like, that had nothing to do with me.
