Ever wondered how the world's chaos can actually lead to hope? Join me, Russ Scalzo, as we navigate through today's global turmoil—from the geopolitical tensions in Syria, Israel, Iran, Russia, and Ukraine to the Changes unfolding across the United States. We turn our gaze from these earthly troubles and focus on the transformative promise of Jesus's return. Imagine a world where glorified bodies for believers and the liberation of all creation await beyond our present sufferings. Romans, Isaiah, and Revelation, paint a vivid picture of this ultimate renewal, reflecting on the peace and joy that accompany Christ's triumphant return.

Then, we explore a story as old as time itself: humanity's fall and redemption. Starting with Adam and Eve's fateful choices in Eden, we delve into the divine rescue mission led by the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to save humanity. The chapter brings to light the monumental significance of Christ's crucifixion and resurrection, drawing us closer to Him. The imagery of the Worthy Lamb worshiped by all creation reminds us of His ultimate sacrifice and victory. With a look at the prophetic vision of a sealed scroll and the Lion of Judah, these themes of redemption and hope serve as powerful reminders to keep the faith and seek deeper spiritual connections. Tune in and let your spirit be uplifted by the assurance of God's magnificent future for us all.

Today we're going to do an encouraging podcast. We all need a little encouragement, don't we? With everything that's going on in the world, things we've been talking about on this podcast and that is all over the news with the revolution in Syria, what it means to Israel, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, Iran, Russia, Ukraine, the situation in the United States, and we even have drones flying all over the place and nobody knows from where or from what. But we're going to leave that for a little while. Let's talk about what it's going to be like when Jesus comes. What's that going to mean for the world and for you and for me? What does the Scripture tell us about that time? And at the end of this podcast, I'm going to share with you a song that I believe has the anointing of God on it, a song the Lord gave me some years ago, called In the Presence of the Lamb, and I believe it really will bless you. So that's where we're headed today In the presence of God. We need peace. We need to talk about peace in our own lives. What is it going to be like when he comes to redeem the world? I'm going to read a few scriptures today that I believe will encourage us, some that you may be familiar with, some you may not be. But when Jesus comes through the clouds, it changes everything, and I believe we need that today. I need that today with everything that's going on in our daily struggles. It is so encouraging to know that God has an amazing future for you and for me.

Let's start in Romans, chapter 8. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that God will reveal in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed, For the creation was subjected to frustration, but not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in pains of childbirth right up to the present time. Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, grown inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies, for in this hope we are saved. What an amazing scripture. What does that mean? That all creation is waiting for you and me, the children of God. It means that when we get our glorified bodies, when Jesus returns, so will all of nature. In a sense, they will be broken free from what the Bible calls the bondage of decay.

We are dealing with the creator of all things, an imagination so phenomenal, an intellect that cannot be measured, a genius at a whole new level, unlimited in his creative ability. He's going to give you and I a brand-new body, not the same one we have in the sense that it needs blood. It needs a heart to pump the blood through. Jesus didn't have that. When he appeared, he had flesh and bones that could go through walls and appear anywhere he wanted to. He could travel from one part of the universe to another in a nanosecond, free from aches and pains and disease, limitless in its ability.

Wow, it almost sounds like science fiction or fantasy, but it's a promise from Jesus Christ. Isn't it amazing how as human beings, we have a hard time recognizing God or giving God credit for things in this world, but yet nature knows it. The birds sing about it in the morning. All creation is waiting to be set free from the bondage of decay and coming into the freedom of the sons of God. Wow, that freedom that we're going to have been amazing beyond anything we could even imagine. And creation is going to be set free. Isaiah 11, 6 tells us that the wolf shall dwell with the lamb and the calf, and the lion and the fatted calf together, and a little child shall lead them. All creation shall be at peace. Let's move to Revelation, chapter 19. This is an amazing chapter. It should bring us great joy and great peace, For the coming of Christ shall be spectacular beyond anything we can imagine, beyond anything we could create. Let's move ahead through time and put ourselves in this scene.

After this, what sounded like the roar of a great multitude in heaven shouting Hallelujah, Salvation and glory and power belong to our God, for true and just are his judgments. He has condemned the great prostitute who corrupted the earth by her adulteries. He has avenged on her the blood of his servants. And again, they shouted Hallelujah. The smoke from her goes up forever and ever. The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne, and they cried Amen, Hallelujah. Then a voice came from the throne saying Praise our God, All you, his servants, who fear him, both small and great.

Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters, loud peals of thunder and shouting Hallelujah, the Lord, God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory, for the wedding of the Lamb has come and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given to her to wear. And the angel said to me, Write Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb. And he added these are the true words of God. At this, I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me Do not do it. I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

06:41

I saw heaven open and there before me was a white horse whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice, he judges and makes war. His eyes are like blazing fire and on his head were many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood and his name is the Word of God.

The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses, dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword which to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty, and on his robe and his thigh he has a name written King of Kings and Lord of Lords. What an amazing scene. This verse has inspired many writers to write different stories, fictional stories about a hero coming on a white horse. But this is the original hero, the only hero, and when he comes, all shall bow, every knee shall bow, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. But those of us who follow him now are already doing that. I pray this song will minister to you and the Spirit of God will visit you today and give you strength and bless you from your head to your feet.
