Chronicles of the End Times
Occasionally, people say, are we really in the last days? How do we know? Does it matter one way or another? We will try to answer these questions and many others in this study. But the most important question may be, how can we reach others with hope in these changing times? One part of prophecy is often emphasized over another, causing us to lose perspective and miss the blessing and beauty of prophecy in scripture. I have taken the information in this study from many authors and teachers who have their lives studying God's word. I have added some insight that the Holy Spirit taught me. With God's help, I have endeavored to keep the whole counsel of the word of God in full view to give us an accurate picture of Christ and His great love for a lost world. I pray that this will challenge you and cause you to grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, as it has me preparing it. Let's begin!
Chronicles of the End Times
The Syrian Massacre: 10,000 Lives Ignored
A devastating humanitarian crisis unfolds silently in Syria as more than 10,000 Alawites, Christians and Kurds have been brutally slaughtered in coastal regions. Why does this massacre fail to generate global outrage? The contrast between worldwide protests when Israel is involved in conflict versus the deafening silence when "Arabs kill Arabs" reveals a disturbing double standard in our moral compass.
I share critical insights from Amir Safati's recent report, highlighting an extraordinary development: Alawite leaders in Syria, traditionally aligned with Assad, Hezbollah, and Iran, have formally reached out to Israel for protection. Their letter, addressed to Prime Minister Netanyahu, acknowledges Israel as the only nation speaking out against their genocide. This remarkable shift demonstrates how extreme suffering can transform longstanding enmities into unexpected alliances.
Turkey's role in supporting extremist factions carries profound prophetic implications, particularly in light of Ezekiel's prophecies about future invasions of Israel. The regional realignment we're witnessing, with Turkey backing jihadist elements while persecuted minorities turn to Israel, aligns with biblical warnings about end times scenarios. This connects directly to Jesus's predictions in Matthew 24 about increasing lawlessness, hatred, and the great falling away from truth.
We live in times where objective reality is increasingly rejected in favor of subjective perspectives, creating a supernatural level of deception that blinds people to obvious truths. As believers navigating these turbulent waters, we must maintain spiritual awareness while continuing to fulfill our daily responsibilities. Prayer and discernment remain our essential tools for remaining "light and salt in a world gone mad."
Subscribe to Chronicles of the End Times for ongoing analysis of world events through a biblical lens, and join me in praying for those facing unspeakable persecution in regions forgotten by mainstream attention.

Welcome everyone. This is Russ Scalzo. Chronicles of the End Times. Thank you for being with me today.

Today is another special report on what is going on in Syria. The great slaughter is now over 10,000 people. Why there isn't outrage everywhere about this? I can tell you why because it doesn't involve Israel. If Israel kills one person, five people get injured accidentally. The news is all about it. Everybody's in the streets. People are coming out and doing violent things against Elon Musk, trying to destroy chargers, marching in the streets in different towns and different cities. We're so out of control we have lost our way. We are so brainwashed we don't look and see the things that are really important. Yes, our lives here in the United States are important. I get it. We all want our rights. We all want to live like kings and queens, I suppose, but the blatant hate for Israel has totally blinded millions upon millions of people in this country. Why isn't there any outrage going on? Over 10,000 unarmed people slaughtered on the coast of Syria.

I have another clip I would like you to listen to from Amir Tsarfati. He just put this out today, just moments ago, and I encourage you to go on his channel and check it out in its fullness. This is just a small piece of it, edited a little bit so I could get some of the important parts in there, but I do recommend and encourage you to go on his YouTube channel and check it out. Get all the information. You can Stay up to date on what's going on in the rest of the world.

Christians are being slaughtered in Nigeria. There are famines going on in other parts of the world. All we can do is complain about what we don't have in this country, which is the greatest country in the world. Even in Europe, they are supporting Jolani and his new administration in Syria, while all this slaughter is going on, completely blind to what's happening, and the only nation that's really standing up to it is Israel, because in this world, when Arabs kill Arabs, nobody seems to care. It's just like the Ukraine war with Russia. Does anybody really care how many hundreds of thousands of lives have been lost Men, women and children, soldiers. Are we that blind? Are we that self-centered? I don't know what took place when I was young and hitting the streets. The Democrats were all about peace. We marched in the streets for peace and for equal rights and for freedom of speech, to quote Bob Dylan. The times. They are changing, so I want you to listen to this clip. It's very informative. This man is right there. Let's check it out.

There is still massacre going on in the villages, the cities, and the towns, over the minorities in Syria. There is no doubt about it. The only difference that is now going to be felt is that they understand. I'm not talking about the Sunni jihadists, the Al-Jolani's people. Now they understand the damage that the footage caused, and so they did not ask their people to stop the massacre, they just asked their people to stop filming it. Something unprecedented took place in the last few hours.
03:54
I'm reading to you right now a letter that was sent to the Israeli Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and Defense Minister by the leaders of the Alawites in Syria. Now, before I read that, just so you know, because of your engagement, because of your sharing, I began to receive messages from Alawites on the ground in Syria, to be more particular, from the city of Latakia. They write me. They found me on Instagram because that's the only place you can write me direct messages without being exposed. So, they write me on Instagram direct message and, by the way, follow me on Instagram if you want to write me a direct message, because you cannot do that on Telegram. And one of them and I'm not going to tell you his name or profession, not to expose him. He is reporting to me almost on an hourly basis on what's going on there. And, just so you know, the Alawites are considered a faction in the Shiite Islam, but remember, Shiite Islam is less than 15% of the Muslim world. Most of it is Sunni Muslim. They've been fighting forever Now the Assad regime. The Assad family is originally Alawite from the coastal cities in Latakia, Baniyas and all of that area, but I want you to understand that Assad was very cruel to everyone and when the Alawites had to pledge an allegiance, of course they supported Assad because they knew that the Sunnis, as soon as they get control over the country, they will slaughter them.
05:28
Now you have to understand. The whitewashing of what's going on is unbelievable. And that, ladies, and gentlemen, brings me to the letter that was sent hours ago and I'm going to read to you as much as I can. This is a free translation from Arabic, and it says in the name of listen to this, in the name of lord Moses, David, Jesus and Muhammad, they want to speak to the Jewish people right now and they want the Christians also around the world to hear them out. So, so this is how they start and say we, we, the Alawite clerics issued the following statement after our meeting in one of the coastal villages they don't want to tell you where, of course and then it says After the fall of the Assad regime and the assumption of power in Syria by an extremist Islamic group that adopts killing, kidnapping, displacement and intimidation as method and way to rule and dominate, and after the massacres and violations that occurred violations in rapes that occurred in the Alawite areas against their people in Tartus, latakia, and the international area of Damascus and after the crimes of ethnic genocide, with the exception of the State of Israel, which spoke the truth and echoed the truth and condemned these criminal acts.
06:44
Now watch this we declare our demand from the government of Israel, represented by its Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, to provide protection, assistance, aid, and support, because the entire world has been silent about our injustice. To provide protection, assistance, aid, and support because the entire world has been silent about our injustice, and we have only heard a voice from the State of Israel condemning the crimes committed by the Damascus government against the Alawites. For that we thank it". It's almost like unbelievable for me to read. This letter is from a group of people that were was allied with Assad, Hezbollah, and Iran. They were betrayed by the Hezbollah and by Iran. They are being massacred by the other side of jihadi Muslims, the Al-Qaeda, and ISIS. And now, they said, the only group of people in the Middle East that we can trust is Israel.

07:38
That's quite a turn of events, wouldn't you say? As I've mentioned before, we must remember that Turkey is behind this. They're supporting all this, and Turkey is going to lead the way. When the great invasion that Ezekiel talks about in chapters 38 and 39, that we've talked about so many times takes place, they will be the leaders. Is it any wonder that Israel is nervous, that Israel is doing what they're doing? The threat is building on every side. The hatred is growing exponentially. Folks, we are heading to the rise of the Antichrist and then the coming of the Lord, God Almighty.
08:20
Now, why do I say that? Do you see what people are believing today? It's just shocking. Everybody is so out of whack. The truth has been like thrown to the ground, like the Bible says, and stamped on. The truth has no place for a lot of whack. The truth has been like thrown to the ground, like the Bible says, and stamped on. The truth has no place for a lot of people. It's their opinion, their wants, their desires, their demands. That's what counts. The truth sits in the back seat, sometimes stuck in the trunk and other times thrown right out of the car. This is truly the signs of the times.
08:50
I've said this before Israel is the number one sign of the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ. The second one is the great falling away, the apostasy that Jesus talked about. Jesus talked about the times of hate. He brought it up because of truth, because of him, because he is life and truth. This is something we don't talk about an awful lot because it's really not very encouraging in a lot of different ways, but Jesus still spoke it and he told us about it in Matthew 24, where he was going on and on about what it's going to be like in the end.
09:26
Let's read it, beginning with verse 9. Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death and you will be hated by all nations, for my name's sake. Then many will fall away and betray. The one who endures to the end will be saved, and this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations. Then the end will come. We see the sequence, it's pretty clear Lawlessness will increase, love of many will grow cold and because of that, hate will increase. Well, we're seeing that. We're seeing that. We're seeing that prophecy fulfilled in the day in which we live to the point where the hate is so great it blinds everyone from the truth, and even when you tell them the truth, they don't see it. The deception is truly supernatural.

Listen to this last, very short clip from Amir, and it's within our power to help so many people from being completely butchered. By the way, that same Alawite from Latakia told me that they are running telegram groups with names of all the victims, and it's already above 10,000. All the reports are false reports, trying to minimize the damage, trying to say it's just 1,000, just 1,200. It's already above 10,000.

Let's be people of prayer. We have to live our own lives. We have families, we have jobs and obligations and I understand that and some of us have ministries and we need to fulfill them. But we must live our lives with eyes wide open. We must be aware, we must be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, or we too could be lost. So let me pray for you today. Love you all, father. God, help us today, father, each one of us. We need your guidance, we need your strength, we need your anointing God, lord, to continue upon us that we might be light and salt in a world that's gone mad. So, father, touch everyone listening to this podcast. Bless them, touch their families, lord, meet their every need. I pray in the powerful, holy name of Jesus Christ. Amen. God bless you. This is Russ Scalzo for Chronicles of the End Times. Keep looking up. The King is coming.
