Chronicles of the End Times
Occasionally, people say, are we really in the last days? How do we know? Does it matter one way or another? We will try to answer these questions and many others in this study. But the most important question may be, how can we reach others with hope in these changing times? One part of prophecy is often emphasized over another, causing us to lose perspective and miss the blessing and beauty of prophecy in scripture. I have taken the information in this study from many authors and teachers who have their lives studying God's word. I have added some insight that the Holy Spirit taught me. With God's help, I have endeavored to keep the whole counsel of the word of God in full view to give us an accurate picture of Christ and His great love for a lost world. I pray that this will challenge you and cause you to grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, as it has me preparing it. Let's begin!
Chronicles of the End Times
Iran Threatens America: France, UK, Canada Threatens Israel.
The drumbeat of prophetic fulfillment quickens as Iran abruptly walks away from nuclear negotiations with the United States. We tackle this alarming development and its profound spiritual implications, drawing listeners into a compelling examination of Middle Eastern geopolitics through a biblical lens.
Iran's assertion that their nuclear program is "homemade, hard-earned and not up for debate" raises serious questions about their true intentions. As Scalzo colorfully observes, "Some people shouldn't own a gun and some Nations shouldn't own a nuclear bomb, and Iran is one of them." The stakes couldn't be higher, with Israel potentially preparing for unilateral action to eliminate this existential threat.
Perhaps more shocking is the revelation that traditional Western allies—Canada, France, and the UK—have issued a joint statement threatening Israel with "concrete actions" if they don't cease military operations against Hamas in Gaza. When terrorists publicly thank Western democracies for their support, something has gone terribly wrong. Scalzo reminds us of God's timeless promise in Genesis: "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you."
The episode reaches its spiritual crescendo with a profound reflection on Psalm 25, where the "friendship of the Lord" is described as "secret counsel" available to those who properly fear Him. In these uncertain times, with prophecy unfolding faster than we can process, Russ encourages listeners to maintain their spiritual focus and remember that God's faithfulness isn't dependent on our own. His character remains unchanging—the immovable anchor in our rapidly shifting world.

Welcome, everyone. This is Russ Scalzo, and this is Chronicles of the End Times. Thank you for being with me today. This is an important podcast, and I hope you will share it with those who need to know what's going on in the Middle East and around the world. Today, I'm going to introduce you to someone you ought to listen to on YouTube. I listen to him, and I like him a lot.
00:42
Keep in mind that not everything everybody says is 100% phenomenal and right on the money, but some people are very close to that, so you can always take in what you feel the Spirit of the Lord is telling you is correct and accurate. Mahyar Tousi is a guy who was born in Portland, Oregon, and then was raised in Tehran, so he has a lot to say about what's going on in Iran. I appreciate his Middle East perspective on these things. So, the topics we want to talk about today are Iran breaking off the nuclear discussions with the United States. They want to do things their way, and so this could only turn out bad, but not as bad as if we woke up one morning and found Chicago or LA or Houston or New York, some city in this country of ours, wiped out by a nuclear weapon.
01:37
Some people shouldn't own a gun, and some people shouldn't own a nuclear bomb, and Iran is one of them. So, I’d like you to listen to Mahyar for a bit. It's Tousi TV, so that you can get it on YouTube. You can search for him. He's just loaded with up-to-date content every single day, sometimes two or three times a day. He's not the only person I listen to, but he's one of the few who can provide a wealth of information directly from the source. So, let's take a listen.

A general strike has now officially started. Across the country, people's uprising against the Islamic occupiers is escalating. We have a reaction from the crown prince of Iran. We are also going to give you guys what's happening in Israel, because the Israelis are now on standby. The Islamic Republic has now rejected Oman's invitation for a fifth round of talks in Rome with the United States. They have said that we have every right to walk away from these talks because President Trump is now demanding zero enrichment of uranium. And they said, ‘Well, that's just unacceptable.’ So, Iran was saying, let us do a little bit, like up to three percent, like what Obama agreed to. So, they were doing it for net zero. You know, we just want nuclear energy. The foreign minister of Iran, Abbas Araghchi, told the United States that Iran will continue its nuclear program. Iran has said that our nuclear program is homemade, hard-earned, and not up for any debate.

Well, this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. Iran has been playing this game for a long time. You’ve got to laugh a little bit when he says we just want this energy just a little bit so that we can refine it, and, you know, so that we can honor net zero. You know, basically, we're just saying, well, you want to reduce the carbon imprint in the world. You know, because we're good at that, we're good ecological folks. It's ridiculous. If that's true, then why are you enabling Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis with weapons that help destroy the world, people, and the environment? I find it very interesting that a rebellion is underway in Iran. You know, if you know any Iranians, they prefer to be called Persians, not Iranians. The recent title for Iran is relatively recent. The Persians are an ancient people, and it's to them that Daniel preached. It's the people that Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, and Mordecai ministered to. It's where the kings that we call wise men came from, the east, from the Persian Empire, the former Babylonian Empire. The inhabitants of Iran would rather be associated with Persia.
04:22
What will happen is up for grabs. Will Trump give Israel the okay, or will Israel decide this is enough and tell the United States? We're going in, we're taking this out. We will see what the future holds. There is also another development. In Canada, in England, and France, believe it or not, the leaders of those countries have threatened Israel and said if you do not stop, if you do not surrender to Hamas, you do not give up this war that you're doing, there will be definite, concrete ramifications. Wow, I guess they never read the scripture in Genesis. Well, I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse you.
05:05
Some might be listening to this and say, well, you know, Israel’s not a Christian nation, Israel’s not following God. Well, either is America as a people. We have leadership that recognizes the Lord, but how about its people? So, if we're going to condemn Israel for not being spiritual, then we must get in line right behind them. God has made promises to Israel, and he will keep them. I've said this many times. Aren't you glad, don't you rejoice in the fact that God keeps promises to you and me, despite who we are, despite how we act, despite what we say, our idle words that come flowing out of our mouths so easily, and the deeds that we do that are not spiritual? We all fall now and then; God still is faithful. His faithfulness has nothing to do with our faithfulness. He will be faithful because he is faithful. He will be holy because he is holy. Listen to the following short clip.

The Western liberal, globalist leaders, including Keir Starmer, Emmanuel Macron, and Mark Carney, the clown of Canada, have now issued a joint statement calling on Israel to surrender to Hamas and Iran. Their statement says we urge Israel to stop its self-defense and military offensive in Gaza and lift restrictions on humanitarian aid. Failure to comply will lead to concrete actions. France, Canada, and the UK are now threatening Israel that if you do not surrender to Hamas, if you do not stop defending yourself against Hamas in Gaza, we will take action against you. So, taxpayers in France, Canada, and Britain, this is what your tax money is being used for. This is what your governments are now doing.
06:51
They want another conflict. They want forever wars, and they are threatening their so-called ally. Israel is supposed to be an ally of Canada. France and Britain have issued this joint statement because they feel left out that President Trump has not included them in these negotiations. Hamas has now expressed profound gratitude to Canada, France, and the United Kingdom for calling on Israel to surrender, and they have said that they thank the British government, the French government, and the Canadian government for their support for Hamas and the resistance, the Islamic resistance in Gaza. When you have Hamas thanking you for your support. You know you are on the wrong side of history.

I couldn't have said it any better myself, and you know that history is eternal history. We ought to be thanking God that our administration has changed, because the prior administration would have gone along with them and we would also be under the curse, which I don't know about you, but I prefer not to be. We are racing towards the end. We're not walking towards the end. We're not casually getting there someday. We are right on it. Things are moving so fast. No one can deny that. I mean, even if you don't believe in the Bible and you don't care about any of this and you think it's a bunch of foolishness, you have to admit it's happening so fast you cannot keep up with it. Prophetic Bible fulfillment is happening so fast that it's impossible to keep up with Folks. We need to stay focused on our mission. Even though I report this stuff and I talk about the Democrats sometimes, I talk about Trump sometimes, but 90% of the time I'm talking about Jesus. The only time I defer to that is when it means something to biblical prophecy. We cannot have our own opinion of who God is. We tend to forget, because we're human beings, that God is perfect, that God is holy, and he doesn't change his mind. He gives mercy and he relents on his judgment because of his loving kindness, because of his faithfulness. That doesn't mean that he changes who he is. He cannot. He is the glue that holds the entire universe, the things seen and unseen, together. It's hard for us to grasp that because we change our minds in a moment, and sometimes, we'll change. Because we change our minds in a moment, and sometimes, we'll change them three or four times in a day. This is who we are, but God is not like that. The sun rises and sets on this earth as it spins in orbit around it; the sun's setting is set by God. The stars in the sky, the Lord says, I have them numbered, I have them named. Everything is personal to Jesus. You are important to Jesus. You are not just a person. You are just not part of the Christian crowd or the inhabitants of this land. No, you're not a number. You are a person who was made in the image and likeness of God from the womb, and now God wants you to become his child by allowing him to come into your life and change your spirit.
10:07
I want to end with this scripture that hit me as I was doing my devotions. It's Psalm 25, beginning with verse 11. For your name's sake, o Lord, pardon my guilt, for it is great. Who is the man who fears the Lord? Him he will instruct in the way that he should choose. His soul shall abide in well-being and his offspring shall inherit the land. The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant. My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for he will pluck my feet out of the net. And what net is he talking about? The net of the enemy that he tries to capture us in.
10:53
I love that friendship with the Lord is equated with fear of God because that sentence says it all. Yes, we have a friendship with God. He is our friend, a friend who sticks closer than a brother. He is the best there is. But how do we get there? How do we get that friendship? It is being in the fear of God.
11:17
And what does that mean? That we honor him for who he is. Give him his due. He is holy and righteous and faithful and loving and kind, and on and on we could go. That's what the scripture means. We honor you, Lord, we honor you as the Creator of all things. We don't doubt what you said. We don't doubt that everything around us is a miracle and it's only flawed because of the human race, but someday it will be glorious, completely glorious. The Hebrew word there for ‘friendship’ can be interpreted as ‘secret counsel.’ Isn't that cool? So those who fear the Lord to give him his praise, his glory, and honor him for who he is and what he's done, God will give them secret counsel. I need that. Do you need that? Let us seek God so that we can have this secret counsel, enabling us to make the right decisions and bring others to Christ. God bless, this is Russ Scalzo for Chronicles of the End Times. Keep looking up. The King is coming.
