Chronicles of the End Times

Evil Never Sleeps

Amidst escalating global tensions and deep societal divisions, Christians face a profound identity crisis. Are we merely following Jesus for what we can receive, or are we true disciples committed to spreading His message?

Drawing from the current landscapes of international conflict and political polarization, Russ Scalzo offers a compelling perspective on how believers should navigate these turbulent waters. "God does care about every soul, every breathing soul on the face of this earth," Scalzo reminds us, establishing the foundation that our worldview must begin with God's heart rather than human agendas. Like lighthouses strategically positioned to guide ships through treacherous passages, Christians are designed to stand out—not blend in—during confusing times.

The episode explores a striking contrast between the strategic religious influence being exercised by other faith traditions and the hesitancy many Christians display when it comes to fulfilling the Great Commission. "Making disciples is not an option, it's vital," Scalzo emphasizes, distinguishing between the crowds that followed Jesus for excitement and benefits versus the disciples who actively spread His message with boldness and divine empowerment. This distinction serves as a powerful challenge to listeners: Which category describes your faith journey?

As nations rage and uncertainty grows, will you stand tall in your convictions and allow your spiritual cup to overflow onto those around you? Join us for this thought-provoking examination of Christian purpose in a divided world, and rediscover the transformative power of authentic discipleship. Thank you for being with me today and once again, I want to thank all of you who are listening from all over the world, in Qatar, germany, brazil, south Africa, the Philippines, the Netherlands, australia, united Kingdom, canada and, of course, right here in the United States. I thank you all for tuning in and supporting the show, those of you in India, Poland, Singapore, and Nigeria. Wherever you are, I want you to know that I'm thankful for you and praying for you. A few more countries have just joined Trinidad, including Haiti, Tanzania, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Israel, Japan, the Russian Federation, Zambia, Switzerland, Chile, Ireland, and Kenya. I don't want to miss anybody, because you're important to me, you're important to the Lord. My hope and desire is that you continue to grow in the Lord Jesus Christ, and that you receive the correct information, along with the scriptures to back it up. So, once again, thank you for listening in. Today, we will examine God's perspective on current events.

Interesting perspective, so let's dive in. It is evident today that there is widespread division all over the world. Political division in Western nations, specifically in England, the United States, Germany, and Canada, seems to be everywhere you look. It appears that we can't agree on a single thing. It has also divided the church, those who call themselves Christians. However, for those of us who follow the Lord Jesus Christ, who read the Word and pray, we should have a different perspective. It seems impossible to grasp at times, but God does care about every soul, every breathing soul on the face of this earth. He cares about each one of you, no matter where you’re or what you're going through, regardless of your economic situation or the country's political situation. He cares about your health and your well-being. We need to bring Jesus into our lives, not keep Him on the outside, but bring Him inside every detail. He knows every detail, but he wants us to communicate it because it builds us up. God does these things for us, not for himself, because we need to be drawn in. Why do we need to pray? Because God wants to change us. He wants to speak to us, to make us more like his son, which will make us more fruitful, better people, and give glory to the Father. Through the Lord Jesus Christ, today we will discuss God's plans.

Right now, we see the world in turmoil. At the time of this podcast. It's the war between Iran and Israel, it's the Ukraine and Russia, situations with China, wars in Africa, and unrest throughout the world. It's a battle. It's a battle between what we want and what God wants. That's always the way. God's way will bring us peace. When we only desire the things of this world, it brings us strife and heartache, taking our peace away. We must remember that if we're living for Jesus, we are a nation unto ourselves. Yes, we have our roots, but God has brought us out of all those things, and he is creating a nation.

As Peter calls us a peculiar people, which means we are different in the way we look at things. We're different in the way we handle things. A lighthouse is made to stick out. Just like Jesus said, if you have the light, you don't put it under a bushel or a table. You put it up where people can see it. That's you and me. We need to be where people can see us, where people can see us, not just physically but spiritually. They can see that we're different.

People are looking for answers. Things are becoming increasingly complicated, confusing, and dangerous every single day. It's time for us to dig in deep, take a stand for what we believe in, and that is Jesus Christ and what he stands for and what the Bible stands for, because without it, we will be swept away and we will be lost. Evil does not take a vacation. We have to understand the actual dangers. We must understand the power of darkness. We do not fear it, but we need to be aware of it. We need to know that we're not living in a bubble. We can't live in a bubble, even if we try to create our own and say I'm just not thinking about anything else, I don't want to know about what's going on, I don't care, I just have my life, I have my family and that's it. That is the same as living out in Tornado Alley. What are the states that are hit by tornadoes regularly? You see the tornado approaching, a massive F4 or possibly an even more powerful F5. And we stand there and say, you know what? We're just, we're all right, we're just going to stay her,e and there's nothing to worry about. I'm just going to ignore it until it's too late. The delusion is swallowing people up by the thousands every single day. All you have to do is listen to what people say and what they believe. It's mind-blowing. If we don't stand tall, we are going to be swept away.

I'm sure many of you have heard about the Democratic primary in New York City. They were looking for a candidate to run on the Democratic ticket for mayor. A young left-wing candidate, Zorhan Mandani, pulled an upset victory. What makes this so startling is Mandani's strong support for Palestinians and criticism of Israel. This platform includes free public buses, universal childcare, rent freezes, subsidized units, and city-run grocery stores, all paid for by new taxes on the wealthy. More importantly, he wants to endorse and promote transgender operations for children.

This is what I mean by evil. Does not take a holiday. If he were going to stick to his Muslim beliefs, he would never promote this kind of thing. But what he's doing is going after the weak-minded. He's going after those who will grasp at anything at any time, who have no genuine convictions about life. He knows he can grab them up. They're like the low-hanging fruit. The plan is to come into power, because you can't do anything significant until you hold power. The plan is evil in its conception, and it points out the difference between the Islamic religion and beliefs and the Islamic political agenda. Big difference. Now stick with me here, because the real point of this podcast is coming up. Let's listen to this discussion between Megan Kelly and Charlie Kirk.

I can't believe they've done this. How did we go from Giuliani, Bloomberg, crossover, de Blasio, and Adams to a socialist who is now very likely to win, because anybody who gets the Democratic nomination wins? Now, it's true, some people will organize against him. Some New York business leaders are terrified. Some Jews in New York are very scared that this guy who?

Defended, globalized the intifada recently on a podcast. At the Dispatch, they are next likely to be the mayor, so they could potentially organize now in a way they didn't before the primary to stop him. But if you had to put money on it, you'd have to put it on this guy becoming the next mayor. What does this say about New York and our country?

Before Charlie Kirk answers, I just want to ensure that we all understand where the intifada is. I know many of you probably do, but some may not. It's an uprising, sometimes nonviolent, but most of the time it turns violent. The latest intifada that we have experienced was between 2000 and 2005. This was a more violent uprising, marked by intense conflict, protests, demonstrations, and suicide bombings against Israel. So what he endorses is an intifada worldwide against Israel, because he believes that the land belongs to the Palestinians. Interesting. Let's continue.

And I'm going to push the envelope a little bit, Megan. So, you have to give me the benefit of the doubt, and you can push back at any time. I'll provide all the proper caveats, which, of course, I believe in. However, the socialist aspect is indeed very important. I mean, he has, like, some of the dumbest ideas imaginable which we're going to have city run grocery stores yeah, that works really well in Cuba. Bring back bread lines, right, Mamdani 2025. And obviously, he wants to tax the rich. He wants to take more money away from people. All that's super bad. He wants to defund the police. He wants to send social workers instead of cops.

But, like, we need to also understand, and we have to be very delicate, how we talk about this, and I'll give all the proper caveats, right, my, not every, not every Muslim is bad. Many Muslims are genuinely decent and good people. My primary care doctor is actually Muslim. I've endorsed someone running for office as a Muslim, Zutty Jasser, here in Arizona. We all know good Muslims individually. But we must also take a pause and say, ‘Wait a second.’ The two financial power centers of the West are obviously London and New York, and are we really going to have two Muslim mayors of the major financial power centers of the West? Let’s take a pause and step back. What does that say, and what does it mean?

And people say, well, it's irrelevant that he's Muslim. Well, you said it best. He wants to globalize the intifada. He's and, by the way, that just means globalized terrorism. He is the first mayoral candidate of any significance to say that he supports sanctions against Israel. I want you to understand that that is America's most Jewish city, New York, and he wants to sanction Israel. And we're not allowed to mention that he's also Muslim. I'm sorry, that actually matters a lot, but dare I also say a radical cultural orthodoxy that is going to be introduced into America's largest city, one that will not make it a safe place for Jews, not a safe place, increasingly, I think, for Western values and, potentially, Christians. And to say that you are in favor of boycotting, divesting, and sanctioning Israel and America's most Jewish city, and it's just a coincidence that that guy happens to be Muslim, yeah, I think that's complete rubbish. And the final point I'll say is that London is a captured city.

What Charlie Kirk is saying about London. In case you haven't been keeping up with it, England has been inundated with a Muslim population, which you might say. What's wrong with that? People are people, and that is true, except that they do not want to become a part of England; they want to change England. And that brings me to the next point, which is the major point of this podcast. As Christians, we have a tendency to go backwards instead of forwards, constantly apologizing or backing up for what we believe, or allowing other people to say whatever they want, while we stay quiet. And I'll remind us all again that the devil is fine with us going to church and singing praises to God. Just keep it within the walls, he's fine with that. It doesn't mean we become militant; it just means that we become disciples of Jesus Christ. Now I want you to listen to this clip from 1990 that's taken off on X.  This woman is talking about the Muslim Brotherhood and what the plan is for the United States. Take a listen.

American melting pot. We do not want to melt into American society and disappear. We want to go into American society with Islamic ideals and revamp their thinking. We want to revamp them. We want to turn them into Muslim individuals. We shouldn't have feelings of distaste for them or intolerance because they're potential Muslims. Education is one of the most important areas that Muslims have to address, and while our objective, our final objective, is not just to become part of the system that we experience now and that we see, our objective, our final objective, is to create our own Islamic systems, and not only create Islamic systems for Muslims, but to look at all the other people who are sharing this country with us as potential Muslims and in that long-range process of making America Muslim.

Okay, after listening to all of that, here's my point for you and I those of us who believe in Jesus Christ, who pray and seek the Lord, read our Bibles and know the impact that Jesus will have on people If we were only as dedicated as the Muslims are to make converts. However, as Christians, we have backed away from that. We don't want to push anybody. You know God loves everybody. It's okay in their own time, and there's no real impetus for us to do that, except for the fact that Jesus said go into all the world, baptize, make disciples. What happened to that? Making disciples is not an option; it's vital. There's a significant difference between a follower of Christ and someone in the crowd. The crowds followed Jesus wherever he went. It was exciting. There was stuff going on. It was stuff that they could get. They could benefit from different things that Jesus was doing. But the disciples now, that's different. The disciples went out and spread the word. The disciples went out into all the area and shared their faith in boldness, under the anointing of God. That's the difference. Disciples make other disciples, followers don't.

We are living in one of the most challenging times in history, not only because of the wars and widespread discontent, but also due to the numerous challenges. We need to pick up the cross and follow Jesus. Be ready to share, in season and out of season, the Bible says. This means that at all times, whether we're feeling like garbage or on top of the world, we need to prepare ourselves every single day for the opportunities that might come our way. I've blown enough of them to be able to talk about it. Being prepared and being filled is so important because God wants our cup to overflow. He just doesn't want to fill your cup. He wants it to overflow because when it overflows, it spreads out and splashes on everyone around you.
