Occasionally, people say, are we really in the last days? How do we know? Does it matter one way or another? We will try to answer these questions and many others in this study. But the most important question may be, how can we reach others with hope in these changing times? One part of prophecy is often emphasized over another, causing us to lose perspective and miss the blessing and beauty of prophecy in scripture. I have taken the information in this study from many authors and teachers who have their lives studying God's word. I have added some insight that the Holy Spirit taught me. With God's help, I have endeavored to keep the whole counsel of the word of God in full view to give us an accurate picture of Christ and His great love for a lost world. I pray that this will challenge you and cause you to grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, as it has me preparing it. Let's begin!

"If you don't think that we're at the end or close to it, you're not paying attention," Russ Galzo warns while unpacking how current events align with biblical prophecy. We have a lot to cover today. There's so much chaos going on in the world, in every corner of the world, and we're going to talk about that too. However, we will also discuss the distraction. You know, satan is the king of distraction. He knows which buttons to push and how to distract us. He knows how to pull us away from the mission. He knows how to get us going in a different direction. Therefore, we do not hear the word of God, nor do we hear the voice of God. He gets us all worked up about a lot of different issues. Now, some of these issues are important that I'm going to discuss, and some may not be as significant, but they are still distractions from the mission. Occupy until I come. That means spread the word about who I am. Talk about Jesus, not about the church, not about the political situation, but talk about Jesus. That's the key. Jesus will bring peace to our hearts, and that's what we need.

Let's examine all this chaos that's going on. We are seeing a turnaround in the Ukraine. The president has offered many times to Putin to come to the table. Let's talk about a settlement here. Let's stop the killing, but that doesn't appear to be happening. To stop further movement into Ukraine by Russia, the United States is going to supply some more defense weapons so they can defend themselves, especially after what happened this past week when Russia bombed a hospital at a maternity ward and other public places that have nothing to do with armament or troops.

We have Islam continuing to push forward in this world. New riots are breaking out in the UK, riots are now breaking out in Australia, and in Spain. Now, if you know anything about the history of Spain, Islam made a move into Spain to take Spain over. Muslim rule in Spain was also known as Al-Andalus. It lasted for about 800 years, from 711 to 1492. In 1492, the Christians reclaimed it. It's the only land, the only country, that the Muslims, once they took it, ever lost. And now there are more riots in Spain today due to illegal immigrants. So, you have it going on in Spain, it's happening in Europe, and it's happening in the UK.

It's a clash of cultures. We've discussed this before, so we won’t delve into it extensively, as there are many different opinions on the subject. However, different countries have distinct cultures, which is great, and each country has its unique flavor and atmosphere. However, what we're seeing today in the United States and the UK, including a recent incident in a school in the UK, is that a 12-year-old girl came to school. It was a special day was a day to talk about your culture, and so she wore a dress, and the dress was like a flag of britain, and so she had her little thing that she was going to say along with all the other kids that were there, and she was taken aside, and she was told no, you can't do that. We're here to explore the diverse cultures represented by the children in the classroom. So they were saying your culture doesn't count. You can look at it. It's just a crazy story.

It's going on and on. It's raging now, people taking sides in the UK. The world is on fire. What is this battle all about? The anti-Semitism and how it's just rising Hate at every turn How can a country like Iran, for instance, put a $40 million bounty on the president of another country and is still allowed to function and do what they do If you don't think that we're at the end or close to it, you're not paying attention.

The whole world is in turmoil, and the primary force behind it is spiritual. It's the push for globalism, prophecies, and revelation, and, through the Old Testament, it's happening right before our eyes. The Scripture clearly tells us that the rise of lawlessness creates a path for the rise of the Antichrist. I've been doing this for so many years, and I believe that there's a catching away coming, that God's going to take his people home, but the timing of that we do not know. The greatest theologians in the world, bible scholars, have debated this for many years.

My word to my listeners, whom I care about very much, is let's not concentrate on the rapture. There's so much on YouTube about the rapture. It's coming tomorrow, or this is happening, and that's happening, and therefore, you know the rapture could be any moment. We need to consider what we're supposed to be doing for Jesus, pleasing Him with our lives, and caring about the dying world. We can use all the things that are happening in the news — the good, the bad, and the ugly — to point to Jesus. That's what we should be doing.

The Christian church in America, seemingly completely disconnected from the Word of God, is in a coma of sorts, trying to ignore everything that's going on in our society, just sticking our heads in the sand. All the things Jesus talked about, all the prophecies from the Bible, they're all unfolding right before our eyes, not one, not two, not three, all of them. And so, to ensure that we're not focusing on it, we have the Jeffrey Epstein saga that everybody seems to be so preoccupied with. It's ridiculous. Are some of those things important that are being discussed, related to Jeffrey Epstein and the things that went on with him? Yes, those things happened, and some of those things were awful, but now we have a soap opera going on, and the enemy, who is so clever at this, has got the smoke screen going, and now it's just like the most tantalizing story that the news just can't get enough of it.

You get so many people declaring that they have the answer. We know what the files are. We know what the files said this and that and the other thing. I have friends of mine saying, well, they're not going to release the files because Trump's involved in that, and on and on, which makes no sense at all, because if he was involved in that, Obama had them, Biden had access to them. Surely, if there were something in there to derail President Trump, they would have jumped all over it. He never would have gotten into the White House. They would have used that. They would have been shouting that from the housetops. So that's certainly not the issue. Was there something going on behind the scenes that shouldn't have been? Oh, yes, but we can't take our eyes off of what our mission is as Christians.

Alan Dershowitz, Jerry Epstein's former attorney, is interviewed, and he talks about the whole deal. It's pretty interesting. He has the inside scoop. No, there is no client list. There never has been a client list. A client list suggests that Jeffrey Epstein made a list of people to whom he trafficked women. What there is is a redacted FBI affidavit from accusers there are several of them that accuse Jeffrey, that accuse various people of having improper sex. That has been redacted. The names of the people accused have been blacked out.

Now, of course, because I was the lawyer and I did all the investigations, I know who all these people are. I could figure out, based on everything that I saw, who Mr X is, Mr Y is and Mr Z. I can tell you right now none of them are public figures who are currently in office. Some of them were previously in office. Some of them are dead, but there is no client list. They ARE IN OFFICE. Some OF THEM WERE PREVIOUSLY IN OFFICE. Some OF THEM ARE DEAD. But THERE IS NO CLIENT LIST AND THE REDACTIONS COULD BE UNDONE IF YOU GO TO COURT.

So MANY OF THE THINGS THAT ARE BEING SUPPRESSED ARE BEING SUPPRESSED BY TWO JUDGES IN MANHATTAN, AND THEY'RE DOING IT L the alleged accusers, who are, in the view of the judges, victims, even though we don't know what their actual status is. However, the judges have issued orders, which is why I can't disclose certain information that I'd love to share. They have stated that this information can’t be disclosed, but Pam Bondi, the Justice Department, and Donald Trump are not responsible for that. I don't know of any information that they could disclose that they haven't disclosed. Now, maybe there is some, but I'm simply not aware of it, and so I think it's important to place the blame where the blame deserves to be placed. The vast majority of people who are in the files, and I know them all, I've seen all the names, the vast, vast majority of them have already been disclosed in articles all over the world. They're in books that have been written. So if we got everything, everything, you would be shocked. How few names are there that haven't already been disclosed.

You might say Russ, you're telling me that that's a distraction. Why did you include it in your podcast? It's there to emphasize the distraction. Satan is a deceiver. He divides and conquers in any way he can. He gets people arguing, gets them to disagree, and destroys any unity that might be there. He's going to pursue it.

I'm sure that the enemy will continue this for as long as possible to prevent us from addressing the issues we're discussing today. So let's move on. No matter what's going on in this world, and there's plenty to talk about, it's the perfect time to declare who Jesus is, what he means to you, what he's done for you, and what the Word of God says that he wants to do for everyone. Talk about his love, his compassion, and how people need to turn away from their old life and look to him for a new life. This might be the most significant opportunity we've had. So what will happen with Russia? Will they back off, or will the war just continue to intensify? Turkey is ready to take over Syria, to do away with Israel. And then, on top of all this, let's add AI.

When I first started teaching about Bible prophecy, probably 35 years ago, people would say to me, ‘Well, Russ, everything is the same as it always was.’ Nothing's any different. So I don't see how prophecies are being fulfilled. Well, I think we've covered that already today. Israel became a nation. Now they're more than that. They're taking care of their enemies on every side. The world is taking sides against Israel. The atmosphere is changing. Wars are going on all over the world. The great falling away is happening right before our eyes, and along with that, so is a move of God touching people's hearts. So, two things are happening at the same time: they're falling away, and God is calling His people. They're not one and the same, but they're not separate either. They're going together towards the coming of Christ. Here's an example of what's going on in India right now. This was reported on CBN just a couple of days ago. God is on the move in India. Let's take a listen.

Most roads in Hyderabad on Sundays lead to Calvary Temple. It's a little after four in the morning, and the side streets around the church are already jammed. As church volunteers coordinate traffic, shuttle buses, auto rickshaws, and motorcycles ferry thousands of people, all trying to arrive. Some two hours ahead of Calvary's first of five services that begin at six by sunrise, the faithful have taken their seats. The main sanctuary holds 18,000 people, supported by adjacent Bethlehem Hall with 15,000, and a third structure accommodating more than 3,000. Hundreds more were watching on television screens scattered around the sprawling Calvary campus. Pastor Satish Kumar preaches at all five services, with the last one ending at 8 pm.

It's great to hear about such things and see what God is doing all over the world, so we must be aware of the spiritual battle. It’s raging, and for us not to be mindful of it’s frightening. So I pray that you will continue to seek the Lord and focus on what's happening, because the enemy is running rampant and the Spirit of God is at work. God is trying to wake up His church, and at the same time, He's reaching millions of people who need Him. Those of us who have been around for a while know that things can change in a heartbeat, because you wake up one morning, somebody's been assassinated or some other thing has taken place, or a bomb has dropped somewhere. We can wake up tomorrow morning and be in a different world. The only security is in Jesus Christ, and sometimes, as the people of God, we need that kind of tension. You can say, man, you know, I don't want to hear that. I want to hear about the peace of the Lord, Jesus Christ. I want to have peace. You can have peace in your life in the midst of all this, and that's what's going to draw people to you. But God is still doing what he does. Listen.

Folks read Jeremiah what God had to do to Israel because he was fed up. How do we feel America and the West are going to get by with the way they're living? Jeremiah, chapter 18. The Lord pleads with Israel. He says Behold, I am shaping disaster against you and devising a plan against you. Return everyone from his evil way and amend your ways and your deeds. But they say that is vain. We will follow our own plans and we will act according to the stubbornness of our evil heart. Therefore, thus says the Lord, ask among the nations who has heard anything like this? The virgin Israel has done a very horrible thing. Does the snow of Lebanon leave the crags of Sirion? Do the mountain waters run dry, the cold flowing streams? But my people have forgotten me. They make offerings to false gods. They made them stumble in their ways on the ancient roads and walk on side roads, not the highway, making the land a horror, a thing to be hissed at forever.

Sometimes we don't understand that it breaks the heart of God to do what he has to do, sometimes to get our attention. But if we're honest with ourselves, we know that those things draw us close to God, and it does break God's heart to see us suffer. However, He knows that it may be the only thing that turns our hearts back to Him. I pray that you will continue to seek the Lord, and some of these words may be challenging and not widely accepted. But if we want accurate results and if we want to keep our heads up, look around, be aware, and not run and hide in a corner somewhere, thinking to ourselves, 'Oh, this is not happening; everything's going to be okay.’

Allow the Lord to move in your life, walk down God's highway, and if you're walking down God's highway, it doesn't matter how many times you trip and fall. He will pick you up because you're walking down God's highway, you're heading towards him. But if you take one of the side roads that Jeremiah was talking about, it takes you off God's path, into hardship, and sometimes God has to do things to bring people back from that, or they will lose their souls forever. So let's thank God and bless God in all things. We need to trust in His love, trust in His care, and know that no one loves us like Jesus. This is Russ Gossel for Chronicles of the End Times.
