Chronicles of the End Times
Occasionally, people say, are we really in the last days? How do we know? Does it matter one way or another? We will try to answer these questions and many others in this study. But the most important question may be, how can we reach others with hope in these changing times? One part of prophecy is often emphasized over another, causing us to lose perspective and miss the blessing and beauty of prophecy in scripture. I have taken the information in this study from many authors and teachers who have their lives studying God's word. I have added some insight that the Holy Spirit taught me. With God's help, I have endeavored to keep the whole counsel of the word of God in full view to give us an accurate picture of Christ and His great love for a lost world. I pray that this will challenge you and cause you to grow in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, as it has me preparing it. Let's begin!

Headlines scream war, but the deeper story points to a strategic realignment and a surprising window for hope. We connect the dots between the conflict centered on Iran, Turkey’s rising influence, Russia’s proximity, and why some Arab nations opt for commerce over combat. Rather than forecasting World War III, we map a setup consistent with Ezekiel 38–39—a future coalition moving against a peaceful Israel after a season of stability and prosperity.
We also get practical and personal. Persecution is intensifying in some regions and simmering in others, yet Jesus’ words still steady the heart: be wise as serpents, innocent as doves, and do not worry about what to say. The Holy Spirit gives words at the moment of need. That promise fuels everyday courage—from workplace conversations to public pressure—while Scripture hidden in the heart rises on time. Alongside the headlines, we highlight a growing underground church in Iran and a likely opening for the gospel to spread even more freely once today’s fires cool.
Expect a sifting within the Church that mirrors the reshuffling among nations. Gifts will meet needs: bold witness, discernment, healing, deliverance, quiet faithfulness in small things. Politics will swing with elections, and alliances will flex, but the call remains the same—stay kingdom minded, pray for peace, and work while it is day. Whether the next surprise is a geopolitical shock or a sudden move of God, readiness looks like hope with a backbone: eyes up, hands open, heart steady.
If this perspective helps you see current events with clarity and courage, share the episode with a friend, subscribe for future updates, and leave a review so more people can find it. What shift are you watching most closely right now?

Welcome everyone. This is Russ Scalzo, Chronicles of the End Times. Thank you for being with me. Today, as the war in Iran continues, there are so many people putting up different scriptures and different interpretations of what this all means, when in reality it is a realignment of the nations of the world for the coming great battle, when the Arab world, led by Turkey, will invade Israel in the time to come. In the meantime, what is happening is that God is getting ready for a great harvest, and he is moving the nations in order for that harvest to take place. Because he is interested in the souls of human beings, of the people that he created, men, women, and children from every nation. You read a revelation that every nation under the sun will be represented in heaven and in the kingdom to come on the earth. There's a lot we could talk about, but I'm sure that many of you are getting the news.

Hopefully, you're getting it in the right form. That is really the truth of what's going on. But that is the plan of the kings and princes of this world. But what we should be concentrating on is the plans of the King of Kings and the Lord of all. For that is the kingdom that matters. That is the everlasting kingdom. That is also the soon-coming kingdom. With the removal of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
and all the other terrorist leaders of that land, it is opening the door for something brand new. Now by the time the bombing is over, which at the time of this podcast, the real heavy bombardment is yet to come. There will be a new land, but new leaders. And the areas that will affect the last days in Bible prophecy will then have no leaders. You think of Libya, you think of Iraq and Persia, now Iran, Syria, the nations that will need a new shepherd, and that shepherd will be Tayyip Erdoğan or his successor in Turkey. Turkey is the place where Christianity got a foothold. The seven churches that Jesus addresses in Revelation chapters two and three were all from Turkey. The nations that will not come against Israel are the profitable ones, the ones who have become accustomed to luxurious living. They're not interested in fighting Israel. They're interested in making money. They're interested in people coming to them and paying money to see their great cities, to play sports in their cities, and to have activities and conventions in their cities. This is a different Arab world. The more radical Arab world will be the one that will come against Israel, according to Ezekiel chapters thirty-eight and thirty-nine. And this is not it. This is also not World War III. This is another adjustment. And we could blame or give credit to Benjamin Netanyahu or President Trump, whatever our opinion is of the war. It is God who's moving the chess pieces on the board. Will Russia get involved in this? Eventually. Russia and Turkey are close friends. Even though Turkey is a NATO nation, it have a connection. And when that day comes, the leader of Turkey, whomever it happens to be at that time, will gather those nations together, and Iran, Persia, will be back in the mix. So that tells me there's another change that will happen. So, for now, this is a window opening up to allow the gospel to go further than it has in Iran. The underground church is large in Iran, but Lord willing, after this is over, the gospel will go out even more freely, and I believe there will be a great revival because God will put it into their hearts. God is gathering his people together. He's gathering those who have a heart to come to him. That's what this is all about. And the hate that you see that is so vehement in some people is going to continue to grow, and they will be the ones against the Church of Jesus Christ. They will be the ones calling us bigots and fools.

Jesus said it best in Matthew chapter ten, starting with verse sixteen, he said, Behold, I am sending you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. Beware of men, for they will deliver you over to the courts and flog you in their synagogues, and you will be dragged before governors and kings for my sake, to bear witness before them and the Gentiles. When they deliver you over, do not be anxious how you are to speak or what you are to say, for what you are to say will be given to you at that hour. For it is not you who speaks, but the Spirit of your father is speaking through you. Jesus said that a disciple is not above his teacher. We haven't had that type of persecution here in the United States, but those of you listening around the world, some of you have. But what he said about not worrying about what to say, I want to touch on that for a minute, because when we testify, when we share our faith, even in the simplest form, what is sometimes the most powerful, God speaks through us. And those of us who have experienced that, there's nothing like it. That is the power of the Holy Spirit, the Father's voice, his thoughts, his heart pouring out through you. And of course, Jesus did say that, Don't worry, because the Holy Spirit will remind you of all the things that I said. Obviously, he was talking to his apostles, who actually heard him speak face to face, but it applies to us if we're reading the Word of God. It's in our hearts. Even though we might not be able to recall every detail, it's in our hearts, and the Holy Spirit will bring it out at the right

moment. Now, there are a couple of things that I want to bring up about Ezekiel 38 and 39. One is that Turkey is going to be the one, as I said, to drive everything forward, and yes, Russia will be involved. And the areas that are mentioned in Ezekiel thirty-eight and thirty-nine are in the region of modern-day Turkey, and some are near Georgia in the Caucasus. The Bible places those tribes near the Black Sea and the Caucasus Mountains. They are the sons of Japheth. So, according to Ezekiel, Israel will be at peace. It talks about unwalled villages, it talks about a more peaceful time. And I believe we're seeing that set up right now. Because once these agitators, these killers, these terrorists have been, for the most part, eliminated, you're always going to have your factions. But for the most part, the nations that have been constantly against Israel and the rest of the world through their terrorist organizations are now being destroyed. But we know because the scripture mentions the countries that are going to come against Israel in this time, it does mention Persia. Something to keep in mind is that Persia, modern-day Iran, is an ancient country. Iraq is not an ancient country. It was part of other empires. The nations that he does mention, other than Persia, the modern day Iran, he mentions Kush, which is the Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Put and Libya, likely including um Algeria and Tunzania. Rosh, interpreted by some as a direct reference to Russia, and others feel it is not. But because of their relationship with Turkey and the proximity of Georgia, the Caucasus Mountains, Russia is associated with this attack, which is easy to see. And if you drew a line up from Jerusalem directly north, it practically runs right into Moscow. So there's a good argument for that. These days are coming. As I said, it's a realignment that's going on right now. Not only in the entire world, but there's a realignment going on within the Church of Jesus Christ. God is separating the sheep from the goats. And those with the anointing, those that are walking close to the Lord today, right now, those that are seeking him, God's going to use in a mighty way to cast out demons, to heal the sick, to raise the dead. That is what's coming. Jesus said, Go and tell them

The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the leopards, cast out the demons. You receive without paying, give without pay. God freely gives his gift, and the Holy Spirit distributes it as he sees fit. Let's seek those treasures, not the treasures of this world, but let's seek the treasures from heaven and declare Jesus Christ as Lord, for a great reward awaits us all, those who are faithful. Those who are faithful even in little things will be rewarded. I pray you will stay kingdom-minded, for all those who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. That's a promise. It makes sense to me that in light of what's going on right now, and we know how things can change in a heartbeat, but as it stands right now, Iran has been the country that has stirred the pot, has sent terrorists, not only to Israel, not only to Lebanon, to Gaza, but to other nations of the world. And this is something that we're dealing with right now, these cell groups, which I'm sure there are many, not only throughout the United States, but in England and France and many other places. We have to pray by the grace of God that it won't get as bad as it could get. But on October 7th, everything changed. The enemies of Israel, many of them have been vanquished, with Iran being the last one. And through this war that's going on now, there will be a time of peace after this. And there may be a time of prosperity as well for Israel and the surrounding nations. So if we are to examine this in that light, then this invasion that Ezekiel prophesied about will happen in the near future, but not today. And right now, because of President Trump's current administration, it is an aggressive administration, one that wants to bring everything back to the US, put us back in control of our pharmaceuticals and our manufacturing, which is a smart thing. But as you know, in this country, from one election to the next, things change. So I believe when this time comes after this war, after a certain period of time passes where there is some prosperity and some peace, and things become a little lax again, the United States may not be in this position. Another election, another president, another administration that will ease up, that will be more relaxed and less aware, not interested in supporting Israel in this way. Maybe there'll be a great catching away, the rapture, as we like to call it. Just before the Ezekiel thirty-eight to thirty-nine war. We don't know. The rapture is dangling out there; it could happen at any time. But I believe there's going to be a great harvest and a wave of persecution before that comes. And it may affect the whole political climate. If there's one thing we should have learned by now, it's that you and I could wake up tomorrow morning, start our coffee, turn on the news, and find out the whole world has changed in a moment. Someone's been shot, a new war has broken out, a leader has just risen out of nowhere, or the world could wake up to find that God has taken his people home. I love this scripture in Hebrews chapter nine. Starts in verse twenty-seven. And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that the judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Love that scripture. Jesus is coming for his own. Until then, the Lord tells us to occupy until I come. There is no time for lying our heads down and calling it a day. We must work while there is yet light. This is Russ Scalzo for Chronicles of the End Times. Love you all. Keep looking up. The king is coming.
