Appreciation is a form of wellness. This is what I talked about in regards to how happy people always show appreciation for what was, what is, and put it into the future.

Gratitude. I am grateful . . . because . . . 

In each life area, talk about what you’re grateful for. Ramble on. Make your gratitude lists as long as you want! The longer the better. 

Specificity increases the sensation of appreciation. 

"This is important . . . while you’re naming off your gratitude in each life area, next to each thing that you say that you’re grateful for, you’ll be asked to complete this statement: “I’m grateful for this BECAUSE . . .” 

Here’s why: Being specific about what you’re thankful for increases the sensation of appreciation, and that gives you access to even more positive feelings. You’re going deeper into the sensuality and meaningfulness of circumstances and people in your life. 

HINT: Some of those positive feelings you identify may turn out to be your Core Desired Feelings." Danielle LaPorte
