Nehemiah 4:14
Welcome to Christ Forged Church, a home church, community, ministry and farm that forges Christian warriors for today's challenges.
Speaker 1:Christ Forged Church stands as a training ground for discipleship and a forge for Christian warriors, uniting faith, purpose and every step of the journey. Our mission is to transform men, women and families into fearless Christian warriors through discipleship, biblical truth and hands-on training. We are building a fellowship of believers, united under Christ, living out a biblical worldview and advancing his kingdom with strength and purpose. We are committed to forging men into biblically masculine leaders, protectors, providers and disciples who stand unshaken in the face of spiritual and worldly challenges. Likewise, we train women as Christ-centered shield maidens, embracing biblical femininity while standing steadfast in faith and purpose, fighting alongside their families. At Christ Forged Church, we prepare warriors for both spiritual and kinetic warfare, equipping them with the armor of God and the courage of faith and the skills to prevail Through fellowship, the refining fire of God's word and the bonds of the United Brotherhood. We are creating a godly, loving and resilient community for it to stand boldly for Christ, advancing his truth and love in every battle and every season of life.
Speaker 1:Some announcements Christ Forged, locking Shields that's the Christian Fellowship show. We didn't have it this Friday, we had it last night because I've been doing a lot of active shooter training and consulting, security consulting for schools. So I was up in Pennsylvania this week, was blessed to be with a classical Christian school, and what an amazing, amazing time. You know, every time I train a classical Christian school it's so much more fun and rewarding and fulfilling than anyone else I've ever trained in my life. Whether it's Fortune 500, 200, 100 companies or elite troops, you know, cops, whatever, there is nothing like changing training the body of Christ to protect children and teachers. I mean, it's just 10 out of 10 experience for me. So that went very well. And then I'm going to California for four days this week and so I will be back late Friday and so Locking Shields will be on Saturday night at 9 o'clock. All right, I'm hoping that people will stop scheduling me on Fridays so I can get back. But if that tends to be a trend, I might just permanently move it to Saturday and and not have to be so bouncing around.
Speaker 1:You know, I thought about taping it and uploading it and I may do that sometimes in the future, but right now, while we're starting with the forging and you know we've got a lot of new people watching the show. I want to be there for that organic question and answer phase, whereas if I tape it I just kind of say what I prepared and I go and I'm done. I want to be there for those texts that come in asking questions in the chat and being there for them, so which I can do that remotely if I'm traveling within chat but not on camera. So we'll figure out what's best. In fact, we'll probably put up a poll on our Facebook group asking you guys, do you prefer? It's always Friday and you don't care if it's recorded, as long as I'm there monitoring the chat and I can respond in the chat, or is the live thing?
Speaker 1:Obviously, when it's time to do Collins, which once our audience hits a peak level, I'm hoping we have the technology and the capability to do Collins for prayer, discussion on topics, and I think that's when this will really go to a whole new level. Um, you know, in the beginning We'll really go to a whole new level. You know, in the beginning hopefully we don't have too many trolls, but you know, because then we'll have to. You know, have a screener, go, do go. But I don't think that'll be the case. We'll do our best and as soon as they start asking all the squirrely stuff on to the next, okay, so that is that we talked about. We're going to be.
Speaker 1:So the forging, the 90-day forging challenge, started. Here's the thing. The great news is it can start any day for you. Right now I'm on day seven, I think, of the Christ Forging or sorry, christ Forge 90-day forging challenge. It's amazing, it'sging Challenge. It's amazing. It's a struggle, it's hard.
Speaker 1:But guess what? I'm not getting all five things, all of the five pillars, done faith, family fitness, fundamentals and finances. You know I'm not getting a 10 out of 10 on all of them, but the ones that I am getting in that you know the faith is already multiplied and you know I'm getting way more Bible time. I'm making sure that, hey, I'm accountable to this group and sometimes I'm doing my Bible in bed, before I go to bed. You know that's just when you're traveling and you're on the road and you're doing all the stuff you got to do, what you got to do, and sometimes I had to break away from what I planned to do and I just listened to the Bible for hours on the road, right? So again, there is no excuse.
Speaker 1:Do not let yourself down, but if you've dedicated this year to Christ, don't let him down. Step up, invest in your faith, invest in your family, your family, invest in your fitness, your well-being. Invest in learning a skill set or improving your skills. Skill set, skill set, sharpening it and, you know, get getting financially healthy as well. That's what we're doing, and we're holding each other to the fire. We're standing there in the battle with each other.
Speaker 1:The other day I have screen time. I called people that I knew on the forge, people who watch the show and who have been supporting us for a long time. I called them when are you? Why aren't you doing this? Where have you been? How are you struggling? What's going on? And I'm pleased to say that everyone responded accordingly and it went very well. That's good. They can't see you on screen, you're good.
Speaker 1:So again, the 90-day forging join. Just go to our Facebook page, go to our group it's you know and just answer the questions. We'll let you in and then you're off and running See what everyone else is doing. You're going to see people on day seven, day five, day three, day one, whatever. Whatever day you start is your day one and then the next day is your day two, so it doesn't matter. We're all on the same page, moving forward as one.
Speaker 1:We're in that shield wall Picture, a big battle of faith, and we're like this spear tip of a spear of a shield wall, phalanx and we're moving forward. And some people are further along and they're at the tip of the spear, okay, and but they're. Everyone is important in that shield wall moving down. So we're moving forward and forward and taking ground for Christ in your life, at your ground zero. You are the tip of the spear, where you stand, and that's what today's sermon is going to be. On. All right, I try to do this sermon once a year. Sometimes I end up doing it more if it's needed. We've got so many new people tuning in which we are praised and blessed and welcome to have you come in and thank you for investing your Sunday or whenever you watch this with us or listen to it. Today we're excited to have you. So the state of the compound we have hit a vital benchmark as a farm and as a compound and as preppers, as Christian preppers.
Speaker 1:Our first cow that was, you know, was their parents came to the farm. Mom got pregnant right. We were born on the farm. We raised her out, finished her. She just got processed. That's like almost a three-year lead time, guys. And that first one and that was Yomi and Yomi's our first first one and she went off and we are picking her up tomorrow from the process. We didn't process her in-house. Uh, we want, you know, just don't have the time right now and um, so we're gonna have all that black angus beef here and we're very excited about that. Again, when you start doing this. I mean, that's the first cow that was conceived, pregnant, you know, born on the farm, raised, finished here. We're excited, we're excited. That's huge, it's huge. And now we're on a conveyor belt to that right. So we'll have another one in six months and we're kind of hoping that it's just going to keep going that way and just praise the Lord. Thank you, god.
Speaker 1:Right, we're also going to be processing one of our big pigs soon. I know we've been saying this forever. I've been looking back at our my notes and we've been talking about processing bacon now for two years. But, um, al and bacon are coming up and we're gonna have to do them and that's gonna be a ton of meat and I'm hoping to do that around, you know. You know I'm gone, I'm back, you know I'm probably gonna. We're probably gonna do that in spring or we might end up doing it in fe. We might do one in February.
Speaker 1:It depends on how much fridge space we have. All right, because you get yummy was 1,100 pounds, okay, once you get on the scale. Now we don't know what her hang weight was yet after you take off the head and the skins and the intestines and everything else, but it's a lot of weight. So we got probably 600 pounds worth of meat coming in. A lot of it will be hamburger, but we got all kinds of cuts and all that stuff and that takes up a lot of freezer space and we have a lot of fridges here. You remember we had seven turkeys. I think we have to eat a turkey next week when I get back because we need to make room and a turkey is round and it takes. Our turkeys are huge and they take up that much space.
Speaker 1:So again, if you want to learn, come down how to process a big pig, come down, come down. If you're local, come down because we can use it Again. It's not hard, I mean, it's work. You know we don't scald our big pigs. They're just too big. We skin them and that's a lot. You know they're one of the hardest ones to skin, believe it or not. Everybody else just kind of comes off like a glove. The pigs, you've got to cut away the skin the whole way. We've got a big crane that we're going to. You know, do it there and you know it's a great experience to come and be a part of and it's something that every prepper which is what Christian prepared person, every responsible Christian who's not testing the Lord, should know how to do. All right, so if you want to come down and do that, just either send me a text here, say you're in, shoot you know in the messaging, shoot me a text, we'll let you know when it's in. You can come down and stay here and we'll get it done. If you're not local, all right, mocha here's another big benchmark.
Speaker 1:Mocha, our Christmas cow. She was born like three days before Christmas two years ago, all right. So she wasn't born here, conceived here, but she's been here since two days after she was born, which was that ridiculously frozen Christmas that we had. We went and got her and rescued her. Well, she is due this week to give birth and she is going to be our next milk cow, so she's going to be getting trained to milk and how to deal with that. Lauren is going to be doing that. So and again, anytime you're in your first calf and they're going to be born, there can be complications and she's a Holstein Angus Cross so again, that comes with risks. So we can pray for her safety and pray for Lauren's safety too, that she doesn't get injured working with Mocha and teaching her you know how to get milked, how to get used to the machine and all that stuff, because up until now she's just she hasn't had to deal with it. So Lauren's been working with her, socializing with her and all that, but because up until now she hasn't had to deal with it. So Lauren's been working with her, socializing with her and all that, but it's all going to be very new.
Speaker 1:Okay, all right, that's all I got for announcements. I know that was a lot, but let's get into this. Dear Heavenly Father, lord, we thank you. We thank you for your blessings and boy, this weekend we feel like we have a lot here. Thank you for your blessings. And boy, this weekend we feel like we have a lot here From you blessing all the work that we've done here on the farm to giving us meat and dairy and new life and everything. We're just so excited about that, lord. We're also excited, lord, for our country as the demonic, satanic regime that leaves office now in place of one that we pray will be infinitely better. Lord, we're so optimistic and so hopeful about our future over the next four years.
Speaker 1:Lord, I pray to use this sermon to keep everyone sharp, to not just have everyone roll over and trust everyone else to do everything. Lord, I pray that you'll use this sermon to help people, not test you, as we talked last week, but to trust in you to keep working, to keep advancing the line for your kingdom. Lord, it seems like the battle for the unborn has been completely forgotten by many people just to get this election won, and we have to hold the president's feet to the fire and I pray that you'll give us the discipline, the discernment and the wisdom on how to do that appropriately to protect the most vulnerable out there. Lord, we are so grateful for the many blessings we have known and unknown, the trillions of cells that had to work perfectly just for us all to be here today. All the things yes, we all have things that ache and hurt, but there's infinitely more body parts and things that don't hurt and are working just fine, and we're blessed for every one of them. Lord, help us not to gripe, help us not to complain, help us to be humble and grateful for every blessing.
Speaker 1:You gave us another chance to get it right today. Lord. Help us focus on you on this Sunday to make this about you, and not what we get. Chance to get it right today, lord. Help us focus on you on this Sunday To make this about you and not what we get. Lord, we thank you for your common grace for the sun, the moon and the stars, this universe, this earth, everything from the mountains to the oceans and everything in between, the animal life, the plants, all of it. Lord, we thank you for your divine grace for choosing us before the foundations of the world, while we were still traitors to you. You chose us and rescued us out of sin, sending your son, jesus, to die on the cross for us, pay for our sin, our penalty, while he was innocent. So, lord, we pray that this time will glorify you and only you, serve you and only you, and that it will please you. So may we proclaim you with every breath of our lungs and serve you with every beat of our heart. In Jesus' name, we pray Amen.
Speaker 1:Now, I know that was a complex, not complex, very simple prayer compared to most, but to some you're like holy smokes, jay, that's a lot. I can't do that. I'm new with this Christian stuff. That's all right. Paul Washer said the most powerful prayer I ever heard and it was he was talking about when he had orphans that were stranded in the war zone and how they were going to get people out. And people are dying and they're being hunted by persecutors and all this stuff and just insurmountable problems.
Speaker 1:And he's in Virginia and he gets down on his knees, which I recommend you do, no matter how bad it hurts and trust me, it hurts me right now Just replaced my knee and he said these words God, you know, you know, you know, lord, you know, you know, lord, you know. And knowing that you know, I can go to sleep Because I submit it all to you for your glory, in Jesus' name, I pray amen, something like that. And God knows everything that's going on in your life, everything that's going on in your heart, everything that's out there. But I know, just like sometimes, when I'm working through a problem and I'm talking with a friend, it's not my friend saying anything, it's me verbalizing my problem, that I hear it and praying to God can be the same way as you're out there and you're being honest and you're talking to somebody who you don't have to, you can't lie to, you can't impress, you can't do anything, you're naked before him. He knows everything in your heart. You get to be honest with yourself and those simple prayers are like a child and those prayers are the ones that shake the universe.
Speaker 1:But if you want a manual, you can go to Matthew 6, 9-13, where Jesus' own disciples asked him how they should pray and he gave us Emmanuel. He said this that is another great lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. That is another great example where, if you don't know what to do other than you know, or Lord you know, help, amen. That could work for you, because it's been working for Christians for 2,000 years, over 2,000 years, over 2,000 years. So this sermon is how to be a Christian, a biblically sound Christian, prepper. Okay, this is in all aspects of your life and we go to Ecclesiastes 3. So go ahead and go to Ecclesiastes 3. So go ahead and turn to Ecclesiastes 3,. 1 through 8 is where we're going to start A time for everything.
Speaker 1:For everything, there is a season and a time for every matter under the heaven A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted. A time to kill and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to pluck up what is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to break down and a time to build up. A time to weep and a time to laugh. A time to mourn and a time to dance. A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together. A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing. A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing. A time to seek and a time to lose. A time to keep and a time to cast away. A time to tear and a time to sew. A time to keep silence and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace. A time to love and a time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace.
Speaker 1:Now I know many, after these long eight years of difficultness that we've gone through during the first 2016 election of 12 years, the 2016 election, the 2020 election prior to that, and even now, here we are and we finally have a vast majority of wickedness leaving the government and there's a temptation to take your feet off the gas, say, okay, we fought up to this point. We've got somebody who is Christian-friendly in office. If not a Christian, we don't know. I got glitter on my face from things here and I can see it shining on my nose Sorry there. So it's human nature to want to rest now and say, okay, trump's got it, and I want to caution against that with every beat of my heart. For the past years at least the last four we've been fighting against the system, trying to prepare for whatever's coming. You're like, oh, jay, don't be a doomsday. I'm not trying to be a doomsday.
Speaker 1:Prepping is not about being a doomsday. It's about making sure that some doomsdays don't come and there are many financial doomsdays to make sure your family isn't bankrupt and out of a house and on the street. There is health doomsdays for individuals heart attacks because they're out of shape, cancer because they eat like garbage, do unhealthy things, and other diseases. Those are all doomsdays that preppers should be preparing against. And other diseases those are all doomsdays that preppers should be preparing against. We have a moment in time now to work with an administration for about two out of the four years, because after that he's a lame duck president and people are going to be jockeying for power for the next election. As sick as that is, but that's just the way it works. And now is the time to take ground and prepare even more so. Now.
Speaker 1:I know many Christians out there who are men that I admire and they are confused on this issue. They are not sure if it's biblically proper to prep and of course, that is ridiculous on its face in the Bible as countless examples of prep prepping. But again, I want to take prep and I want to broaden that definition. It should be. Are you taking care of you? Are you taking care of you so you can take care of your family? Are you setting yourself up to be the best asset that you can for your family? Are you just saying I'm going to be dead weight. I'm going to be the anchor that drags everyone down. They're going to take care of me and that I encourage you not to do that with every fiber of my being. Even if they will, which, if they're Christians, they should contribute in every way you can prepare, in every way you can.
Speaker 1:Preparing makes it easy for them during that transition time. We have some family members that are really hurting and really sick. Luckily, they are prepared and it's taken the burden off of their children. It doesn't make it easy, but it definitely there's no strain on us, financially or anything else, while they are going through their health struggles, and it makes a huge difference. That's one form of prepping. The other is trying to be as healthy as possible. So you're not dead weight, you're not the bricks that everyone are carrying around. Okay, we all have gifts. We all have things that the Lord blessed us with incredible talents. Use them. The Lord blessed us with incredible talents. Use them.
Speaker 1:This time, over the next two to four years, is the time when you should be taking the most ground in your preparation, because the economy should be good, the government should be getting out of your way and you should be able to move forward without a lot of the fear that you're going to have Now if you live in a blue state. I've been telling you for eight years or more to get out. Get out now. It's never going to get better to get out than when Trump's president, because we don't know what's going to happen four years after. We don't know if he's going to finish, we don't know if he's going to make it through being sworn in tomorrow. So this is a time to celebrate, a time to cheer, but it's also a time to hit the gas and prepare.
Speaker 1:It's what I'm doing. I'm going to work as hard as I can right now, because the environment is in the best case possible for me to help and set up my family for success, for legacy Not taking care of me, but taking care of my kids, my wife, my grandkids, my great-grandkids. Am I going to leave them a legacy, like Joseph did, like Noah did, like others? You're darn right. I'm going to do everything I can to set them up for success. The world doesn't, and we get centuries and generations upon generations upon generations upon generations of suffering and further suffering, and it becomes this black hole that sucks entire families and generations of families down into darkness. Not here. We broke that and I want you to break it too, and now is the time to do that.
Speaker 1:So one of the first things we have to overcome in this is pacifism. Okay, well, in Exodus 15.3, the Lord is a man of war, the Lord is his name. So Yahweh is a man of war and the Lord is his name. So Yahweh is a man of war and Yahweh is his name. That's basically what it says. Now, that is all aspects of God, all three Father, son, Holy Spirit. There you go.
Speaker 1:When Christ comes back, is he coming back as a lamb next time? No, he's coming back as a lion, as a warrior. He came to be a sacrifice this time. Next time he will not Again. Let's hear about the Lord, who is the king of glory. The Lord is strong and mighty. The Lord mighty in battle Doesn't sound like a pacifist to me, doesn't sound like a pacifist to me. Isaiah 42.13. The Lord will go forth like a warrior. He will arouse zeal like a man of war. He will utter a shout, yes. He will raise a war cry. He will prevail against his enemies. Again, this is who we worship, and Deuteronomy tells how.
Speaker 1:A different perspective when you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them because the Lord, your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you. When you see planes and tanks and helicopters and drones, just know that God is with you and that he's better than all those. When you're about to go into battle, the priest shall come forward and address the army. He shall say here Israel, today you are going into battle against your enemies. Do not be faint-hearted or afraid, do not panic and be terrified by them, for the Lord your God is the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your homes. That is the enemy communists, liberals, china, russia, others who want to tear us apart. But it's also our sin that does that. It's also ourselves, our laziness, our gluttony, our self-destructiveness, our hate.
Speaker 1:Proverbs 18,. Whoever isolates himself himself seeks his own desire. He breaks out against all sound judgment. Now that can self-isolation, can mean being a hermit and breaking away, which is a bad thing. It's not prepping but it also can mean being divisive. This is a time for us to unify and move forward. 2 Samuel 10-12,. Now I pulled this out of the NIV instead of the ESV. Be strong and let us fight bravely for our people in the cities of our God. The Lord will do what is good in his sight.
Speaker 1:Now, during this time, there are people who are going to say Now, during this time, there are people who are going to say we should not stop the lawfare, don't prosecute anyone, don't do any of this stuff. And I say to heck with that. They came after all of our good people and everyone on our side who did nothing and they broke laws to do it, and they persecuted and they perjured and they conspired and they used and violated rights and did all these things, and they must be held accountable. That doesn't sound very Christian, jason, really. Matthew 10, 34 through 36. Do not think that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. This is Jesus talking, for. I've come to bring peace to the earth. I have not come to bring peace, but a sword. This is Jesus talking, for I have come to set man against his father, daughter against her mother and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, and a person's enemies will be those of his own household. What time is more like that than now. There are family members that I've known for my entire life that I don't speak to anymore, and they don't speak to me. They are on Team Devil and I am on Team Jesus. I welcome them to Team Jesus, but I will not go on Team Devil and I won't let them think that they're on Team Jesus when they're not. We must hold those who broke the law and who tried to tear this country apart to bring one party rule, and we must deal with them accordingly. Traitors must be treated as traitors. No one should be above the law.
Speaker 1:Now moving forward, we have to be wise in how we prepare and, again, the 90-day forging is a great example of that getting your faith right, getting your relationships right, getting your health right, getting your skills, adding your skills, becoming a more valuable asset to yourself, your family, et cetera. And then getting your health right, getting your skills, adding your skills, becoming a more valuable asset to yourself, your family, et cetera. And then getting your finances right. Right, but in prepping, there's typically three Bs, and those are bullets, beans and bandages. Make sure you have plenty of those. Well, there's a fourth, and I'm adding the Bible to that. Okay, I'm adding the Bible to that, okay.
Speaker 1:Now in Luke 22, 35 through 36, jesus said to them this is Jesus speaking to the disciples and he said to them when I sent you out with no money bag or knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything? This is the first time he sent them out. He said don't bring anything, rely on me for everything. And they lacked nothing. But Jesus then says he said to them they said nothing. 36, he said to them but now let the one who has a money bag take it and likewise an app sack, and let the one who has no sword sell his cloak and buy one. You got to remember how serious that. Sell your cloak and buy one. There's no car with heat, there's no nothing. Literally, you were subject to, you had a cloak and that was it. So Jesus was telling you, if you don't have a sword, be cold and miserable rather than defenseless.
Speaker 1:And many a scholar out there who drinks this pacifist poison RC Sproul's, who I love and adore God rest his soul is one of them and part of the reason why his study Bible is over there on the shelf and I've got my ESV right here because I watched him try to twist himself into a court contortionist to try to say well, that wasn't a real sword. And then later on, as you continue reading, the two of his disciples say we have two. And he said that is enough. And he's at LC Sproul acts like they're scolding him for that One. It's hard to hide that you're carrying a sword. Okay, these are not guys with like tactical gear. So Jesus knew they had swords. He's God. He knows they have swords. He did not forbid them and they had to to protect their group. And he said that was enough.
Speaker 1:This pacifism that comes in, it takes over people and it makes them dependent on the government, dependent on everyone else doing something for them instead of them being able to do it for themselves. We must stand on our own and only rely on God, which gets into the testing, versus trusting God. We do the work, god blesses that work. Testing God is not doing the work and expecting manna to fall out of heaven, which has only happened once in human history. We have to do our part.
Speaker 1:You guys have heard me talk about the parachute analogy. Trusting the Lord is I want a parachute, I go and I train, I go and I buy the best parachute for myself. I practice. I pack it to the best of my ability. I go up on the perfectly flying airplane. I jump out and do everything I'm supposed to. When I pull that cord, I say a prayer and either God blesses everything I did right then or it doesn't. But I did my part. Testing the Lord is jumping out of the plane without a parachute and saying God, save me.
Speaker 1:Jesus himself didn't do that. Matthew 4, 5 through 7. So when the devil took him to the holy city and set him on the pinnacle of the temple, he said to him If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written he will command his angels concerning you. On their hands, they will bear you up lest you strike your foot against a stone. And Jesus said to him again it is written you shall not put your Lord, your God, to the test. We must do our part, we must provide Timothy 5.8,.
Speaker 1:But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. That means you are worse. If you don't provide for your family, okay, that's everyone. You are worse than an unbeliever. Where do unbelievers go? L? You've denied the faith you have only worshipped fire insurance.
Speaker 1:Let's look at 2 Thessalonians. I can't say that word to save my life sometimes, for even when we were with you, we would give you this command If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. There is no room for laziness or somebody else doing it for you. In the Christian faith, you are a servant Proverbs 10.4,. A slack hand causes poverty, but the hand of the diligent makes rich. The prudent sees danger and hides himself Proverbs 22.3,. But the simple go on and suffer it.
Speaker 1:It's easy to see what could be coming. If Trump is going to be the great president that we hope him to be, he's going to have to make some really hard decisions and it's going to cost a lot of people. You see that going on now, with all these influencers who are making a lot of money on TikTok. And now TikTok is gone. Trump's talking about trying to save it. But I have no sympathy, sorry.
Speaker 1:You've been hearing for years now that TikTok is a Chinese psyop against the American people. You invested in it, you built a platform on it. It's destroyed our country. It's caused transgenderism, caused suicide, caused untold suffering. You invested in it, built a life on it and now it's gone, as it should be. You got in bed with a bad actor knowing it was a bad actor. Move on, move on, was a bad actor, move on.
Speaker 1:Whoever works his land will have plenty of bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits will have plenty of poverty. Is what you do valuable? If it's not, what is wrong with you? Find a way to be valuable. Learn a new skill set, Find something you're good at and do it to excess to bless other people.
Speaker 1:Luke 22, 35 to 36,. And he said to them when I sent you oh, nobody in that. Oh sorry, I've already read that I skipped ahead and down. So what do we do now? What do we do? Well, let's look in and down. So what do we do now? What do we do? Well, let's look in the Bible. Let's look to Noah.
Speaker 1:Genesis 6 says it took Noah 55 to 75 years to build the ark and it had never rained and it only misted during that time and it not rained. And he's building an ark in the middle of nowhere Now. He walked literally with God. We have to have that faith. We have to be smart, we have to have discernment.
Speaker 1:Joseph in Genesis 41, the master prepper in a dream, god told Pharaoh what was coming. He convinced Pharaoh to believe him and he prepped and prepped and prepped and stored and he saved the world. They all would have starved to death, blessed, untold how many millions of people and bloodlines would have ended right there If Joseph didn't do that. Who knows if even you'd be here? So now we have to put on the whole armor of God. Be strong in the Lord, in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. These are the schemes of the devil. We are going to have strife. There are going to be attacks against our country in the future. There are going to be attacks from China. There are everyday cyber attacks in our enemies.
Speaker 1:Now, in verse 12, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over the present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil and the heavenly places. People use this to say that we don't have to fight evil kinetically. That's wrong. Hitler was a power and principality. He was a ruler. We had to kill Nazis to get his head off that snake. It's the way it is the rulers and the powers and principalities are puppets. Those puppets are the ones that torture us and hurt us and use us as their weapons and instruments. We have to defend our families, our communities and our country and our world from that. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and, having done all to stand firm, stand. You may be able to withstand the day. Having done all and stand firm. Next word Stand.
Speaker 1:Therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, living only on truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, what's that? Protect your heart. Your heart has to be righteous. Your center of your being has to be truth. That's the belt. The belt of truth is where your waist is. It's wherever you go. That's where your waist has to be. Truth, that's the belt. The belt of truth is where your waist is. It's everywhere you go. That's where your waist has to go. That's why, in football, they teach you to watch their waist.
Speaker 1:Truth governs everything. Righteousness protects your heart. Your heart has to be righteous. The shoes for your feet having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace, that's what's driving you, is the gospel In all circumstances. Take up the shield of faith which you can extinguish, all the flaming darts of the evil ones, their arrows, and take the helmet of salvation over your head, your thoughts, your mind, okay, heart covered in righteousness, head thinking about one thing only salvation, christ, belt of truth, and then you pick up the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God. This governs all of your warfare, kinetic and otherwise. That's how we deal with this One step at a time, doing the next right thing, doing the best of your ability, finding your gift, using it to the best of your ability, making sure that you are always moving forward.
Speaker 1:We're always trying to move the family forward, and then the family and then the church. We're always moving forward. We're always bettering our environment. That's my problem with pre-mills they're all half got one foot up in heaven already, thinking that they're going to avoid all the stuff, whereas post-mills know we're going to be here for a while. So I want to leave my family in a better spot than I was, and you should too.
Speaker 1:Alright, we're going to do the Lord's Supper. Here you go. Here you go. Let's see if Lauren's coming in to partake or not. Oh, this might be a good day.
Speaker 1:The first peel went good. Let's see here. Second one is the hard one. I do not like these things. I can't wait until we have a big enough congregation in person to go back to real wine and better bread rather than this stuff. All right, let's bow our head in prayer. Oh, first, sorry, let's go over what we're doing right now.
Speaker 1:This is for baptized believers, and I'll pray and then we'll partake. Whoever, therefore, eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner shall be guilty concerning the body and the blood of the Lord. Let a person examine himself, then, and some have died. But if we judge ourselves truly, we will not be judged. But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined so that we may not be condemned along with the world. So go ahead and close your eyes.
Speaker 1:Now I want you to reflect first in glory on Jesus going to the cross, paying for your sin, rising victoriously, defeating the grave, ascending to heaven and there this is a victory toast. This is a celebration and a feast that we are honored to be welcomed to the table and grateful to be welcomed to the table to eat with him for eternity. Where are we being slack in our lives? Now I want you to repent of everything you need, to repent of All of your sin that you've done since your last Lord's Supper. Think about the message of today, see if you are dead weight, see where you can contribute more for yourself, your family, strangers, the church, wherever. What gifts has God given you that you are wasting? And then commit to move forward, commit to do better. Commit to die to self to be a servant like our Lord and Savior Jesus, to die to self to be a servant like our Lord and Savior Jesus.
Speaker 1:Now, as they were eating, jesus took bread and, after blessing it, broke it and gave it to the disciples and said Take, eat, this is my body. Go ahead and eat. And he took the cup and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Go ahead and drink. Heavenly Father, we thank you. We thank you for blessing us with another day and we thank you for this coming administration and the chance to turn back from the edge of the apocalypse.
Speaker 1:Lord, help us to not coast now. Help us to hit the gas, help us to fight for the unborn, for traditional marriage, to get rid of the LGBTQ madness that is ravaging our youth and our population. Lord, help us serve you, lord. We stand willing. We are tools. We know you don't need us, lord, you need nothing, but we stand willing. If you want to use a hammer, use one of us. That's a hammer or a screwdriver, or a wrench, or a saw or a scalpel, we say send us, lord. So now, help us all, give us all wisdom and discernment to look at our lives, See where we can advance the kingdom in our own lives, whether it be our health, our finances, our preparedness. Make it clear, lord. Help us to find other like-minded individuals, other body members that want to do this and unbelievers who are curious in you, lord, who you are calling back to you. Send them our way. Calling back to you, send them our way, lord.
Speaker 1:I pray a prayer of discernment, peace, strength and determination over this fellowship, over the persecuted church, over our troops overseas, our first responders at home and our veterans of yesteryear Over the world that we don't go into World War III. And I also pray that for our incoming president and everyone else who is serving now that they would honor their commitment to you, lord, that you would use them to do mighty things in your name. And I pray for my beloved America. I pray that she would humble herself, turn from her sin, hit her knees, seek your face, and that you would see her and heal her, so that we could once again become a Christian nation, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Now I call this fellowship to attention, to put on the full armor of God, strap on the shield of faith, pick up the sword of the Spirit and to boldly join the shield wall as we march forward to take ground for your kingdom, for your glory, amen.
Speaker 1:Now I'm going to torture you with singing. I know you guys have remembered the books up there. It's marked blue book on the shelf. Oh yeah, go ahead and rise. We're going to be singing doxology. Lauren, go ahead and lead it. No, sir, come on, you got it. You got it too, okay, praise God, from whom all blessings flow. Praise him all creatures here below. Praise him above, ye heavenly hosts. Praise Father, son and Holy Ghost. Amen. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you. God bless you. I love you. I'll see you on Saturday.
