Ashlie Season 1 Episode 14

Send us a text

Monthly Forecast: The Knight of Pentacles symbolizes slow, intentional movement, rooted in presence and purpose. It encourages mindfulness and practical support for oneself. Gaia's Dragon represents harmonious balance between earth and air, masculine and feminine, and practical and spiritual aspects. A shared theme with both of these cards is the significance of grounding through daily practices, ritual, and adapting to seasonal changes.

Ashlie McDiarmid:

Hello there, dear spirit. Thank you so much for tuning in and listening to the Tea and Tombstones podcast. Tea and Tombstones is a platform dedicated to helping you root into nourishment through the haunted darkness and claim your hallowed ground through tarot education, spell crafting, spiritual coaching and nature-based services. My name is Ashlie, the creator and wolf-child of Tea and Tombstones, and I welcome you here. Hello there, sweet hauntings. I hope you are well today. It is time for another episode of the monthly cards for April, and this month we are working with the Knight of Pentacles and Gaias Dragon (Divine union). First, I want to say I am sorry that I did not get this episode out the first of the month. I did not realize that the first of the month was a Thursday. I thought I had a little more time, and my calendar time has been off, so I do apologize that this episode is coming out a week later, but here we are ready to record and talk about the beauty of these monthly cards. If you have been listening to any of my previous monthly card episodes, then you know the drill. If this is your first time listening, first of all, welcome. In this episode, we are going to be discussing the messages of each card individually, and then go into more depth on the similarities or contrast between these cards and how we can really embody and create space for cultivation for this month. So, grab your tea or whatever you are sipping on, and let's get started. I am drinking boring water today because I'm trying to drink more water. I don't know how people drink the recommended amount of water. I feel like a fish right now, but I'm trying to drink more water, so that's what I'm sipping gone. So let's go ahead and get started talking about these cards. Before I jump into the Knight of Pentacles, I want to just talk a little bit about the Knights themselves. I plan to do an episode corresponding to each of the court cards. I feel that the court cards tend to be a little tricky, because in the general tarot pantheon, many of the books that I have seen in relation to the court cards speaks to them in relation to another person. I do not read the tarot cards this way. I don't read the courts this way. I don't like to read the chords this way, and that is because every card that comes forth in a reading, whether it's a reading with a professional tarot reader like me, whether you are initiating your own tarot reading, afriend is doing it, every card that comes forward is for you, and if we take a card like the Knight of Pentacles and say that it speaks in relation to someone else, we are giving all of the beautiful messages and invitations and open windows of this card away to another person that is not present for the reading, but it still is not a space of action. It's taking this card and speaking to someone else, and I don't like to read this way. I just feel that it really takes the, the totality and the energy and the fire and the ferocity of the tarot and places it to something outside of you. As a tarot reader, I believe that every tarot card is of service, and it's all... and all of the invitations are meant for us to embody and embrace and to use to take accountability for our own lives. So I invite you to consider all of the invitations and all of the messages and the open windows that come from the court cards in relation to yourself, and your sovereignty, and your autonomy because that is what is going to really initiate, in my opinion, a very beautiful experienced and accountable practice for your thriving life, for everything that you want and need in this world. So let's go ahead and start talking about all of the Knights within the tarot, so we can see and embody and embrace their messages, really cultivate their invitations in a way that leads us to expansion, that leads us to really take stock of what their invitations and their energies unfold for us in the best and most positive and most beautiful way. All of the Knights within the tarot are the movers and the shakers. So what this means is that they are coming forward for us or when they come forward for us, they invite us to really look at how we are moving into interconnection, into expansion, into higher alignment, yet still maintain a sense of sovereignty, autonomy, or self governance, and I would like to give a little bit of a visual for this to kind of help make it clear. There is an island that is completely of the self. It is your state of being, or it is the state of being, and then there is another island that is the island of interconnection. It is the island of the communal. It is the island of deeper consciousness, awareness. The Knights want to move in between these two islands. They see the benefit of both. Now, all of the core cards see the benefit of both. We cannot be an advisor and an influencer with the Kings if we do not have a stable seat of self if we do not have an awareness of our own state of being. Yet, the Knights are recognizing and coming into I would like to do a full podcast episode on all of the courts, as I said, but I just wanted to give that little brief this awareness of self within the world, self within the overview, and kind of use that visualization. I hope it helps in relating to the to the Knights of the tarot. One other interconnection. So, the Knights are the ones that are going to thing that I would like to talk about before moving on to the build the bridge, or build the boats, or build the raft, Knight of Pentacles is the role of double -elementals. So all of the Knights have the element of their, of their card sign. So, whatever channeling you want to put there to move from the self the Knight of Pentacles has the element of earth, because all of state of being into the interconnection, into the the pentacles speak to earth, yet all of the Knights as their bigger, higher, deeper alignment. They are the ones, title holding hold another element. I personally believe that all of the Knights are air. I've seen some literature or all of the Knights are, the ones that bring their presence, their some opinions that see the Knights as fire, and I can alignment and their purpose to this state of moving. When we definitely see some of the similarities. Yet I think the Knights are of air, because again, when we're speaking to look at the Knights, what we are really as[sic], what they are cultivating this deeper awareness of presence, and really using that presence and that alignment to channel our really asking us to do or to embody, to embrace, to purpose. I fully believe that this is air energy. Not that cultivate, is really to bring our presence to this state of there doesn't need to be passion or drive or ingenuity or all of the beautiful things that come with the fire element. What I moving, to really shake out old energies and old things that do see with all of the Knights is this deepening in awareness, not serve us by using our presence and our alignment and this deepening in understanding, or this deepening in the level of consciousness that recognizes that the purpose that we hold our purpose to be the channel for our movement, to be the and we channel towards our higher calling, and how that channel for this bridging between our own state of being interconnects with the bigger picture, with the world at large, with our community that really relies on a sense of And the interconnection higher alignment or deeper awareness mental faculty or brain chemistry or brain initiation to that we will inevitably need when we look to bring our really honor and hold the space of awareness of higher purpose and yet hold at the same time awareness of self, and that's spiritual sovereignty or our spiritual self governance in to why I used the visualization of the two islands, because the the space of the interconnected world. I hope that made sense. Knights are really inviting us to see how our autonomous self is being channeled and how the purpose that is within us, that is calling us, that will not let us go, is asking us to move into that state of inner connection, really shake the energy loose like a dog shaking water off. It's like really just this whole body turning into this shedding and into this focus of removing what no longer serves so that the purpose is more clear, and that's why I think that the Knights are air elemental. So, when we look to the Knight of Pentacles, we are then working with the element of air and earth, and this elemental pair is repeated with the accompanying oracle Card, Gaias dragon (Divine Union). I will go into detail in that on that card once I talk about the knight of pentacles, but I just wanted to point out that in Gaias Dragon(Divine Union), Gaia is the reproductive, fertile earth goddess, and her dragon is the dragon of the cosmos. So again, we have this paired, shared connection of earth and air and how they serve each other, how they are both this incredible expanse, and yet there seems to be some sort of separation, and there is, and that separation is of importance, as I mentioned when talking about the Knights of the tarot in general. So I just wanted to make that clear that we're really seeing this paired elemental energy of earth and air for the month of April. So now, in talking about the Knight of Pentacles, again, air and earth, one of the biggest things that comes forward with the Knight of Pentacles is the power of place. Now this can be internal. It doesn't have to be a physical location. What the Knight of Pentacles is really inviting us to consider is how our presence within the present moment is going to build and support us in that moving towards the interconnective state of being, towards the higher energies, the more expansive energies, the deeper awareness. All of those things require that we first tend to our presence, because if we step into that place without presence, without purpose, without alignment of our own foundation with our own, without the foundation of our own power of place, we're not really going to be of service, or we're not really going to be able to cultivate the energies in a way that's truly going to be impactful. The Knight of Pentacles is going to come forward when we really need to take the moving and the shaking energy slow and steady, really connect to our presence, connect to our purpose, and connect to our alignment, so that we can really find clarity in each moment and then use That clarity to move into the interconnective space with more awareness, with more with our power of place, so that we can, in fact, move and shake as we need to, in order to be the change that we wish to be, or to see the change that we wish to see. So one thing with the Knight of Pentacles is really soldiering in to your strengths, your skills and your gifts. That is one of the best ways to really allow the power of place and the place of you to move into that interconnected space, to move into that which you are naturally moving into based on your deeper purpose in a way that allows your autonomy to be fully honored at all times. So, recognizing that by moving in small ways doesn't mean that the journey or that your power of place is any less than someone else's moving. It's really about soldiering into that which you have, within your state of being, within your little island that is going to provide and be of nourishment and is going to be part of the rewarding process of the moving itself with the knight of pentacles and this theme of soldiering into your strengths, your skills and your gifts. What the knight of pentacles is really asking is for you to be in constant exploration with yourself and with what is around you, to stabilize and support you in that moving forward. In the space of moving, how can you cultivate and call on what is already within or around to aid the moving naturally and organically? To put it another way, there is this element or this theme with the Knight of Pentacles that is to be rooted is to rise. I really love the image that is from one of my decks, the Mystical Dream Tarot, which, and I will have the pictures on Instagram of all of the cards that of all of the Knight of Pentacles from all my decks. But I love the Mystical Dream Tarot picture of the Knight of Pentacles. Here it is titled The spirit of pentacles, but it shows the Spirit of Pentacles as this big, expansive tree, and it is from the root network that moves and expands within the dark, within the unconsciousness, within the dream space that is carried over from the Pages. Then, that is what allows the spirit, the tree, to really rise and to become such, uh, such a powerful force within the power of place, and I love that connection of being rooted to rise, and that is exactly what the Knight of Pentacles, or here the Spirit of Pentacles, is really saying. It's saying that we need to constantly practice rooting into ourself, rooting into our strengths, our skills, our gifts, and even into our shadow, because that is where the root network thrives. It thrives in the deep, dark, nourishing space of beneath the ground, and in that way, it can root and rise into higher awareness, higher consciousness, higher interconnection and be of service to the power of place more fully. And that's exactly what the Knight of Pentacles is really asking. It's saying that we need to be... we need to be putting into place a practice that supports us in our rooted space. And what I mean by rooted is like your, your spiritual, your physical, your baseline, and then from that baseline, from that place of being rooted, we can really rise and do and move as we need in order to create that change, create that movement Be part of that interconnective shift. This interconnected shift is seen, I think, very profoundly in the wild unknown tarot deck with the son of pentacles, pictured as a young stag. He is not yet the alpha of the forest. He is not yet that big, powerful elk, but he will be, and he has the same access to all of the resources that the Alpha elk does, that the that the father of Pentacles does. But it's really about being guided and using what is here to cultivate that slow progression, that slow shift into the interconnected space, into the influencing space. And one thing that I see between the two card images that I've just mentioned from the wild unknown and the mystical dream Tarot is a crescent moon. And this is again speaking to being guided, that as we move into the power of place we have within us these subtle and unseen forces like Moon energy, that can really help provide a sense of being guided. Really tapping into Moon energy or into lunar forces can help be a guide for what is here, what is now, what is present and what is known. So when working with the knight of pentacles, really tap into how you are being guided through your spaces by what you know, by what is here, by what is constantly in support of your rooted space, and is constantly teaching you in some way one other theme with the Knight of Pentacles is really moving in this slow and steady way, or this purposeful way of bringing your presence into alignment in this rooted space, is because it is through security and it is through stabilizing and support within the foundation, within the power of place, that we can really use that movement to really plant and invest in the future. We can really tap into what is supportive here and now, so that as we move into that interconnective space. As we move into that space of influence and advising, we are connecting to this sense of investing and to this sense of fruition, of being fruitful down the road. I think it's important to to speak to the knight of pentacles in this way that it's not about the journey. It's not about.... it is about the moving, and it is about the shaking of the old and bringing in the new, but it's really about doing it in a way that is again thoughtful, that is purposeful and that is guided upon clarity and on autonomy, so that what comes forward as we move into the spaces constantly and consistently, we are being given back what we are putting out, and that there's a sense of of mindfulness that as we move into that interconnective space, we have brought with us this sturdiness, the stability, this supportive foundation that can be used to elevate the interconnective space, but it's also going to give back to us in a way that allows us to nest and to create and to open what we may not have been able to open before, if we weren't, if we weren't supportive, and this ability to be supportive can really come from combining the new and the old, the autonomous and the lineage of progression, to really channel that movement and to shake loose all that doesn't serve so that as we move into that interconnected space, We can really root down into the self supportive and in alignment, but we can create a sense of structure that is both playful and powerful. It has our own unique fingerprint on it, and that's what makes the all of the Knights, but the Knight of pentacles too, it makes it so exciting to really see how we can take our autonomous self, honor that bow into that, and then shift it, move it into the interconnective space and honor the community, the collective, the magical layering that exists in the world, the spiritual layering and honoring the past too, honoring all that has come before, just putting a new spin on it, creating a new way of showing up in this present space, the knight of pentacles is truly just a lovely, lovely card. What I love most about the Knight of Pentacles and perhaps one of the most hallowed ground moments when we are inviting in the energies from the Knight of Pentacles is that there's really a active invitation to foster support for the self. And this is in some ways, a radical idea when it comes to the knights and just when it comes to the self, the narrative in our society is often that we always have to be external of service and doing in a way that undermines our own rooted support network, even if we are working too much, if we're not tending to our physical self and gathering our bodies in a space that is supportive and in alignment and of presence, we are still being asked to just invest and engage and commit and just keep doing and going. And the Knight of Pentacles knows that that is not the way to get from the self and bridge the self into the interconnected woven tapestries we could physically get there, yes, but this attention to mindfulness, and this attention to presence, really coming into the present moment and being mindful how we are, gathering our bodies and gathering our thoughts in the present moment is truly the hallowed ground element, I think and feel with the knight of pentacles. The Knight of Pentacles is this radical commitment or this rap, this rationality, this realization that our bodies are not meant to just be machines, that we are a body that houses a spirit, and that this attention to mindfulness creates this shift within us, and sometimes that's subtle. Sometimes it's just a thought or an emotion or a difference in processing something or coping with something or engaging with something, but the knight of pentacles invites us and houses our spirit and asks us to house our spirit in a way that there's more of an attention to mindfulness, there's more of an attention to self within the interconnected tapestry that comes from a more slow, a more intentional and a more steady pace because that is what is going to be of the biggest service We are naturally with the Knights, going to meet resistance. Anytime there's an element of movement within life, there's going to be some form of resistance to that movement. And the Knight of Pentacles says that within that space of resistance, it's key to rely and return to our supportive foundation, because that is what is going to carry us through. It's really about tapping into the mindfulness and the presence so that we can use resistance to come into alignment, so that we can come into alignment again and again, and that our purpose is not derailed or undermined by the resistance that it's met by one of the key themes, or the key roles with the knight of pentacles. When the Knight of Pentacles shows up for you in a reading, I would invite you to consider, is this tapping into mindful, slow cultivation, and what does that mean? What does it mean to be witness to your own evolution, to be witness to your own facilitated, supported foundation in a way that allows you to rise and to expand and to become part of the bigger tapestry, the bigger network, the bigger energies of the interconnective and the intercommunal spaces. How does it feel to be part of that space in a way, where you are witnessing your own evolution? To go back to the stag from the WildUnknown deck, the stag, again, is not in the space of being the alpha, the top dog. He's not in the space of being the the one that others look to in terms of survival and thrival. The Son of Pentacles, however, is of that network. He is of that tapestry, and through mindful cultivation to survival and to skills and to soldiering into the body and to gathering the body in a way that is of use and is mindful and is attentional, he can become that which he is now using as a form of support. I know that I'm putting a little bit of a personification, or I'm anthropomorphizing the the stag a little bit here, but I think that the metaphor is quite beautiful, that with the Knight of Pentacles, we are witness to our own guidance, to our own guiding forces and to our own evolution, and that through mindful cultivation and through intentional, purposeful channeling of our bodies and our thoughts and our actions and our words in A way that continues to support that foundation, we can really see how we merge into the interconnective and the intercommunal spaces without losing our autonomy, without losing our sovereignty, without losing that which we bring to the table. We honor the future and the past, we honor the lineage and the lessons and the possibilities and the opportunities, and we do all of that by bringing our presence, our mindful cultivation of ourself and our minds to the space and into alignment. I personally felt these energies really open for me when I was in my last yoga session with my gorgeous friend Kara, who hosts the Your Own Yoga. It's a facilitative and a supportive yoga space to deepen your own personal yoga practice. It is on Tuesday and Thursday, from seven in the morning to eight. If you are in the Denver area and want to join us. It's a lovely space. It's all donation based. Just have to give a little shout out to that. But I really felt into this energy during my last yoga session, because we had been talking about feeling into what it means to warm up the body and to warm up the spine, to warm up this midline of awareness and how that allows the thresholds of our yoga practice and our body to be more in tune with the practice itself. When we warm up the body and we create this heat within the body, and we make the spine more fluid and more capable through this slow cultivation, through through the through the poses, what we're doing is we're really allowing the body to become more in tune to the present moment and to each subtle shift as we move into and out of each pose. And I really felt this because I had one of the best yoga practices I may have ever had, and I felt that this to be high Knight of Pentacles energy, because I was not set on any certain goal with my yoga practice that day. I was not set on anything other than warming up the midline, warming up the spine, and really slowly cultivating myself within the yoga practice, bringing awareness and presence to my yoga practice. That was all I wanted to do, and the more that I did that, the more that I was able to gain from my yoga practice. Because I could feel into my body. I could feel where there was lingering tension. I could feel where I was really opening, and I could really honor the space that I was holding in that on the mat in this supportive way, and then the yoga practice as a supportive practice, was able to support me off the mat and to and for the rest of the day, I was really just carrying myself in this way where I was just more in awareness. I was tapping into my breath more throughout the day. I was tapping into my body more, and just feeling into that subtleness within the body that often gets overlooked when we are so externally driven, when we are so only in our brain space, and we're not in our brain connected to body space. I was able to feel that. I feel that that is truly where the knight of pentacles energy is, is really a place to tap into. We can really tap into that energy through breath, work, through yoga, work because creating that supportive awareness between body and mind. We're able to feel into that more and more and more, and to take it off of the mat, or to take it out of the breath work, or out of the meditation and into our external world, into that inter communal space, more actively, with more intention, with more evolution of ourselves. Now all of that is beautiful, and I honor that, and I bow to that. However, too much of returning to that space can be where we get into some of the Haunted aspects of the Knight of Pentacles, it can be quite easy to return to the supportive foundation of ourselves, and we need to have that as a healthy form of coping with the resistance and the wounding and the utter shitstorm that comes from this world. But the Knight of Pentacles, again, is a mover. He's a shaker. We cannot just sit and never move when we are working with this energy, we have to be slow about it. We have to be intentional about it, but it can be quite easy to use that almost as a coping mechanism, and that diminishes the teachings and the guidance of what the knight of pentacles is asking if we constantly emerge back into into the self and into our own supportive foundation, we're not bridging the space between the self and the interconnective. We're not bridging the space between the here and the beyond or between the past and the future, because the Knights are movers, because they are shakers. There's going to be times where we have to soldier into our strengths again, soldier into our gifts and to our skills and to our guidance, to our teachings, to carry us through those moments that are hard. To carry us through those moments where we have doubt and fear.

Unknown:

This is... it's a hard balance, and especially in the times that we're in, this can be really hard to know, when are we relying on this space too much to be of service, or when are we undermining that space by not returning to it as we need? I hope that made sense. So now let's move on to the accompanying oracle card, Gaia's Dragon, (Divine Union), and this card is pretty obvious that it's speaking to harmonious balance. There's an element of masculine and feminine, light and dark, earth and air. The woman is bright and vibrant and beautiful. The pregnancy speaks to fertility, this fecund nature, and the dragon is the Lord of the cosmos. He is the power of the orbits and the expansive of the planets and the turns and seasons of the universe and the spirals therein. So together, these two really enhance and bring out in the light. And in theory, these two bring out and enhance the best and brightest qualities of each without Earth's gravity, there wouldn't be an atmosphere. And yet, if we didn't have an atmosphere, we could not create and we could not create and things cannot grow and thrive. So these two really balance each other and bring into space this divine accordance of both natural and supernatural, spirit and matter. This is such a beautiful car to accompany the Knight of Pentacles. Excuse me, because again, when we're speaking to earth and air, we're speaking to merging yet division. That air and earth merge together in order to create and to thrive in accordance with natural law, and yet there is a division between earth and air. They don't merge into each other the same way that earth and water do, or that air and fire do. So this divine accord is really about merging, and yet seeing the separation again. This is something we're going to see with all of the knights, that there is this interconnective purpose, this interconnective calling, and yet there is autonomy with the Knights there is the sense of sovereign spirit, and that's exactly what we're seeing with the messages from Gaias dragon, that when we look to this month, we are looking to both spirit and matter, or to say we are looking to the Divine, accordance with both magic and the natural, with both the practical and the beyond, it is through the practical means that we're able to harness and channel and move into those bigger, brighter, vibrant, spiraling energies. So this card is, I think, a powerful card in speaking to divine union and to really allowing the space for both intuition and rationality to come together, for both feminine and masculine, light and dark, again, being rooted to rise is going to be kind of the theme for this month, that as we seek to root into the self, root and even the dark spaces into the shadow work, as we seek to root into that space, what we're doing is creating a harmonious balance and in divine accordance with being able to rise and to expand and to shift and to become more cognizant of interconnective more cosmic energies, more spiritual energies. So I would say for this month, I would invite is really grounding through practical means, in to the physical, the matter, into the present and in the here and now, because that in in doing that, that's creating that supportive, stable foundation, and then that, in turn, will allow our magic, our spirituality, our merging into the interconnective, to become more spiritual, more Esoteric, more cosmic, more beyond, more expansive. I also invite in this time to really see how the change in the season is affecting you and your body. I know that for me, when spring comes, I tend to feel a slip in my appetite, and I also tend to not want the same foods like lately, sweet foods have not been sounding good to me at all. Like heavy sweet foods, the kind of foods that I normally really want during the winter time, just does not sound good at all to me. Like lately, I've been wanting fresh greens, light meat or broth, even like bone broth, or just like a light soup broth and some fruits and some good grains like that is all I've been wanting. And I haven't even been wanting that much of it, because my body is just naturally moving through the seasons and the cycles of the earth and of the planet in a way that it I'm changed by it and by bringing awareness and presence to my body when I'm eating, which is one of the most beautiful ways to honor the Knight ofPentacles and to honor Gaia's Dragon, to become more conscious of eating, to create more of a sense of eating, I've been able to see that sometimes the foods that I'm eating, I'm not eating intuitively. I'm just grabbing them, and it's not what my body wants. And I can really feel this shift right now that these are the types of foods that my body wants and these are the types of food that my body does not want. This is also a beautiful time to lean into any sort of creative space or into any sort of joyful, harmonious practice that you have, even if that's reading again a book, or taking up a new hobby, or trying something new, learning something even just spending time in nature. Now that up here in the northern hemisphere that our weather is starting to get a little better, spending time out in nature to create a sense of exploration and a sense of interconnection. Real time within the natural world is a great way to honor both of these cards, and again, really leaning into daily habits, daily roles, or practices, rituals that are steady and consistent, leaning into creating or strengthening habits or practices or choices or actions that really create a sense of steadiness and consistency within the body and also within the mind. If that's like a journaling practice, or if that's, again, like reading a book, or for me, lately, that's been a lot of like listening to music has just been, has been a beautiful, consistent practice that I've been doing when I'm like, cooking dinner or I'm sitting outside, and that has kind of allowed my brain to go into this more creative space because I'm listening to music, and also yoga and breath work. both air and the lungs and the body. So a yoga practice or a meditation practice, or even just a more mindful practice, these are all going to be beautiful ways of channeling both the knight of pentacles and the card Gaia's Dragon, divine union some of the hallowed aspects, I should say, of Gaias Dragon, before I close out, this episode, is again, really tapping into the consistency and into the support and into the spectrum with Gaia's Dragon. Obviously, as I said, there is an element of the spectrum between the extremes, so really honoring the spectrum and the extremes and then using physical practices or habits or rituals to create a sense of steadiness and a sense of consistency and a sense of softness through the extremes, is one of the most beautiful, Hallowed moments with Gaia's Dragon, some of the haunted elements, I would say, at least, I can only speak to my own personal practice, and for me, I know that when I overly try to seek balance, I end up getting out of balance, because it's not intuitive. When I'm trying so hard to tap into all of the things that I should be tapping into, I find myself getting really overwhelmed, and my anxiety starts to rise because it feels like it's a force. It's not an intuitive receiving so one of the haunted elements with Gaia's Dragon, I would say, is to not be overly concerned with this constant striving for balance, or with with this constant striving for honoring the spectrum and then finding where to move within the spectrum, intuition and rationality also need to be in balance, and so that means that sometimes there's a give and a take, we need to be able to lean into one sometimes more than the other pragmatism would be lovely all the time, but you know, we are messy, beautiful creatures and so not overly striving for this divine union, really letting the supportive practice move organically and the the moving and the shaking aspect of the Knight of Pentacles may really shake some of the energies within that spectrum loose and just letting that come forward, and not trying to position it, structure it, compartmentalize it into a form of balance, I think is going to be key in acknowledging and addressing some of the Haunted elements of Gaia's dragon. And yeah, I think that is where I wish to end this podcast episode. I have said everything that I want to say that was in my notes. I hope what I have said and put forth for you is of service in some way. I would like to say one final little reminder with the knight of pentacles. The knight of pentacles, as I mentioned, is more slow, more steady, more mindful, more intentional. That can trigger I know that for me, sometimes that triggers my brain to be quick to react and quick to be like I need to move more. I need to do more because we are naturally conditioned to be caught up in the quantity or the pace of the movement instead of the quality of the movement. So when you are being productive, even if that productivity is more slow and more still honor that and really lean into that. If there is challenge or resistance that comes forward when working with the Knight of Pentacles, lean into the supportive practice, into the daily habits and the daily rituals to help the brain start to find that ease and that grace with stillness. This is not easy. I'm not saying that I have it all figured out. I in no way have it figured out, but I know that through continuing the effort, I'm going to be of service to my body and gathering my body in a better way to move more quickly when it's the right time. So just wanted to say that before I close out, I would like to thank my spooks patrons, Lisa Zimmerman, Bobbie, McDiarmid, Deb guy and Zach Tate. Thank you so much for joining the Tea and Tombstones Patreon and for being a supporter. Thank you for your continued support. It is so valuable to me. It humbles me every single day. Quick announcement on my Patreon, I am actually in the process of revamping my tiers, so the dollar tier is going to be going away, and I'm going to be putting in place a three, $3 tier that's going to have a tarot affirmation with resources attached. I have been wanting to tap into using affirmations with the tarot cards for a while, and I'm working on getting some sort of group discussion together so that we can talk about how the affirmation has been helping us to embody the energies from the tarot that month, or just embody our life and our thriving, beautiful being for that month. So I'm in the process of creating the tarot affirmations. And the $3 tier will have the tarot affirmation, additional resources like a PDF and a recording, either an audio or a visual, with me just kind of talking about the tarot affirmation. The spooks patrons will still keep their beautiful name in the podcast. You will still get your additional third monthly card and extra podcast content, and then you will also get immediate access to the group discussion, where we will meet via zoom or something similar, to talk about the Tarot affirmation and to just talk about tarot, I'm wanting to kind of create more of a community, communal space. So just wanted to mention that the Patreon is going to be getting a little bit of a revamping the $3 tier. I forgot to mention will also have a complete write up of every single tarot card bio I've been working on this, and it's kind of a slow process, so I'm hoping to have all these changes by the end of the month. That is my goal. I also am hoping to get the tarot affirmation together so that will be in the next newsletter. So yeah, little bit of revamping, little bit of moving into a space that is more in alignment and more of presence. I'm really trying to honor that with my practice and with my business, and sitting down with my Patreon, I just realized that some of the benefits I was offering I just wasn't as invested in anymore. It wasn't filling me with joy. And the Tarot affirmation is just really invigorating my my my own movement. It's really invigorating my body to brainstorm how I can bring this forth in a positive and impactful way. So, yeah, I'm really just trying to honor the Knight of Pentacles in this way, and move from that place. So, Patreon will be getting a little bit of ever vamping. And if you would like to become a patron, please head over to the link in my show notes, and you will be directed to the Patreon.
