STEM EDUCATION LIFELINE (SEL)

Stem courses for Medical careers with Dr. Sandra Inga

Dr. Ralph Minaya and Manuel Guerrero Season 1 Episode 14

Dr. Sandra Inga has a strong commitment to educating students in the STEM field.  She has been a mentor for various teachers, and students throughout her career.  Our guest has been a presenter for numerous international, national and state conferences.

She had an outstanding  progression as a process engineer  for reputable organizations such as Hewlett Packard, and Texas instruments. Later on ascended on a steady upward path occupying positions such as science teacher, engineering instructor, assistant principal, principal, and Director of STEM for HARTFORD PUBLIC SCHOOLS in Connecticut among several other occupations.

Dr Inga was telling us the other day about her concern for students enrolling in nursing programs, and medical schools, that mistakenly avoid taking STEM courses in high school and end up possibly  struggling on their journey through universities and colleges.  If you know of anyone in that predicament, please forward the link. It can save time to know before making the wrong career decision.
