Oh, yes. Welcome. My name is Carol. I'm Gracie. And what are we going to talk? Okay, first of all, Carol, the mom is totally unprepared for this podcast today. Gracie is in charge of everything. So go ahead, take it away the reins, and I just woke up like 30 minutes ago, so I'm really tired. I've been up since 530. Dylan and I went to breakfast this morning at Cracker Barrel and yellow Valentine's Day. Okay, breakfast. But this podcast we are talking about? Lunar New Year astrology zodiac, just all kinds of weird fantastical stuff. Okay. You want to start off with how your two weeks have been? Oh, gosh, we don't have to think. What did I do a work? Oh, I worked Tunica. Oh, last weekend. Yes. We did go to Tunica. Yes. We want a lot of money that was supposed to go again this week. We were supposed to go this weekend. But with the bad weather coming we decided to cancel which is you know a good thing. Since we weren't so much last weekend. Most of it. I yeah. I figured we went this one. We lose our shirts this week. I'm so glad we didn't go but you watch the Super Bowl. We did. We did go tamp I was kind of glad they won. Yeah, I liked both teams. It didn't matter to me which ones which which team won. There was something else I wanted to say but for me forgot. It's so funny to watch Tom Brady play for Tampa Bay because you see he's just a little bit more relaxed and yeah, let stuff go. Where do you see that party? Who's ever oh really drunk? Oh, my gosh. That was hilarious. That's what I mean. Tampa Bay like he's probably only had like three beers because man probably hasn't drank alcohol in 20 years. Probably though his you know his his physical regimen. Is his nutrition. You surprised he drinks at all? Hmm. Well, he looked like he had a good time. Good for him. Yes. Good for him. He deserves it. Yeah, you almost corrected me this morning. I know. I didn't care all remar did. But anywho. Yeah, I watched the Super Bowl. I made some chili. I watched it. I got so tired. I fell asleep before halftime even started. Yeah. So who's this weekend guy that did the weekend. Yeah. So he's been around for a long time have heard of. He just recently within the past five, six years, started recording his own music. But he's he's a producer of music too. So I read about him because I had to look him up. And then he started off I guess he was start off. He was talking about drugs and sex and all this stuff. And then he got with the recording people. And then I guess he he they he needed help writing songs. So he he hired somebody to help write songs. That's what I read about No, no. But anyway, he's I think he's had a fairly seasoned life already. So young, but I still the means like the names of the cities are funny. Yeah. With him swinging that camera around that. Yeah, we went through that maze thing. Yeah. But yeah, so we wanted to talk about zodiacs and horoscopes, because last week, and before we are two weeks ago, before we started recording the podcast, we just got to talk for hours about that about Zodiac. So now, disclaimer, disclaimer for me. Personally, I don't know that I believe in all this. It's just for fun. Yes, I don't I really don't believe it either. Like I'm half hearted, one foot in one foot out. But yeah. Anyway, I'm a Sagittarius, and I'm an Aries. Okay, so I've done all the research. Yes, she is. We're going to start off with a lunar new year, which basically is a Chinese New Year, which I didn't know about. The Chinese New Year does correlate with the lunar, they go off the lunar phases and stuff like that. And then so when is it when does it start? This year? It was February 12. So Oh, just trying to go Friday? think it went right. I think they say the Chinese New Year is 45 days after our new year starts. All right. And this year, It's the Year of the ox. Okay. I don't know what that means. Oh, yeah. Okay, well, to me, the ox is a big strong. What was last year. Do you know what You're the jackass you're the bat. Oh god. I see Chinese New Year 2020 a lot of people do believe in Chinese New Year. Yeah. The animal of 2020 last year was the pig. Okay. Anyway, we're gonna start off with our horoscopes. Okay, today's horoscopes. All right, well, I said Lunar New Year, let me let me mark that off first. Okay. Lunar New Year is the beginning of a calendar year, whose months our moon cycles based on the lunar calendar is particularly celebrated in East Asia influenced by the Chinese New Year. But they do say a lot of prophecies happen and that good things come from the New Year. It's a festival that celebrates beginning of the new year traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar. speak a little bit. Okay. But that's all I had read about it. Oh, okay. That's all the research I did. I didn't know Lunar New Year and Chinese New Year were correlated. Gotcha. So we're gonna start off with our horoscope. Okay. I'm an Aries which means but born between March 21 and April 19. So and I got three different horoscopes for each of us. Oh, from three different website. Okay, just to see if we're late. Okay, let's get on you. So the first one I'm going to read is from National post.com. And mine says you are high energy today because the moon is in your sign. This will also bring you a little bit of extra good luck. discussions with a friend or a group will be upbeat and positive. Just like this. Okay, yes, just like this book, and I can tell you're up to date. Yeah. And then the second one is from astrology.com. Still your horoscope still mine still Aries right? It's time to come out of the shell you've been hiding out in Aries. The moon bursts into your sign this morning, amplifying your energy and desire to be seen heard and validated on an emotional level. So now the next portion of our Zodiac episode is the signs in order starting from January all the way to December that would say again, I was what you were looking right at me. I know it was looking right at us think about Christy teegan and her baby though. And I felt bad for saying I don't like as a person. You can edit it out. No, I'm not going to edit anything out. Okay, that takes too much work. Um, the the signs chronological from January to December, okay. And it's a little weird because they do start, you know, on the 22nd and on the 21st. So the first one is Aquarius, which starts January the 20th to February the 18th. And they are a water bearer, which I have no idea what that even looks like. But that is their sign. Okay. They're represent representative person. Then you have Pisces, February 19 to March the 20th. And they are a fish. Okay. Then you have Aries, which is a ram. March 21. April 19. You have a Taurus, Bull which is a bull. Another bullheaded, strong willed person. April 20. To may 20. Then you have Gemini although I think Taurus is very What did you study tourists a little bit a little bit because carries a tour. Yes. And so is my father. And there there are a lot of like really very level headed, smart, practical, responsible. Katelyn, my sister in law as a Taurus. Okay. And she's just recently gotten that way where she's practically level headed. Oh, go ahead. Then you have Gemini. What's your twins? Okay, so you have a good twin an evil twin. Okay. Between there you said nobody likes them. Right? Nobody really likes them in the Zodiac world, right? Because there's their twins, right? In phase two. Right? Right. Right. Between may 21. And June 21 says Gemini. Next you have the cancer, which is a crab. I don't understand that. I don't know why they call it cancer either. But they are a crab and maybe cancer in Latin means something else maybe or in another language or some probably Okay, anyway. June 22. to July the 22nd. Then you have a Leo, which is a lion, okay. Between July the 23rd and August 22. Your Virgo, which their sign is a virgin? Okay, between August 23 and September 22. Okay. Libra, which is the balance? So assuming you first mean you wonder if it makes a difference because we're related physically it is. We're mother daughter. It does. Their sign ruler is Mars or Pluto. Just depends on mythology behind this. Like, there's a no store of data method, you know, like ours or anything. I didn't really look too much into it. I should have been great. Okay. Scorpio is one of the three water signs. It is a fixed negative sign, which also Aries is a positive sign. Sagittarius is a positive sign. Taurus and Scorpio are negative signs. I don't know what do we like equal each other and probably Scorpio is associated with three different animals. The Scorpion, the snake and the eagle or Phoenix, who Scorpios colors are deep red, maroon, black and brown. That's quite a difference between a scorpion and Eagle. Yeah. And that's why the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. A lot. There's Mars and Mercury that will occasionally reverse the way they for real, real science. It's real science. So with mercury it happens about every four months Oh, that often whereas you know, if other planets do reverse their retrograde it might be years. When they retrograde. retrograde means they turn they do the other days go the other way. Wow, I didn't know that. Anyway, Mercury Retrograde or why wouldn't that happen? I have no idea how it happens. That's amazing. Okay. Anyway, sorry, Mercury retrogrades are widely loathed transits marked by communication, technological and travel mishaps. But while all retrograde cycles can be challenging and disruptive, they also force us to look inward and provide the potential for some real growth. As in this case, with the most challenging things in life, though, knowing what's to come is better than being surprised by negative or otherwise difficult happenings. So in 2021, Mercury will go into retrograde between January 30 and February 21. So were they in it now we're in it now we have one more week okay. of mercury being in retrograde Okay. Then it will happen between May 29 and June 22. Okay. Then I know right this then, oh, sorry, I was smoking Peter. Then it will happen between September the 27th and October the 23rd. So, now to the keen eyed astrology enthusiast, they might notice that all three of these retrogrades are happening in air signs, which is Aquarius, Gemini and Libra. Air energy is intelligent and witty. They master wordsmiths, and our air signs are known to have refreshing breeziness to them. But that doesn't mean that they're not hard thinkers. With that in mind, expect the mercury retrograde cycles in 2021 to have you boldly read convenient seeing who you are, or re conceiving who you are and who you want to be in this area. They already know what's happening in the storyline because the comic books were obviously written first. Oh, captain and you watched Captain America first and then Captain Marvel? Yes. Did it make sense? It did because and because then Captain Marvel has all the others in it to Captain Marvel NOW. Oh, it only has very it only has her but what's funny is because you know how in Captain America obviously was set back in the 1940s fighting start doing this. I had to rewatch and I learned so much after realizing Okay, I might do it too. With Captain America starts in 1940s fighting Nazi Germany you have Howard Stark working with shield? Okay and then you have the Avengers who like the with the Captain America movies there's two of them are those in order to or they're not back to back are they? The way they were made throughout the years they are an order and pretty sure they do you watch them in order like no okay no that's what I mean. Oh yeah in the way that Disney wants you to watch them No, because you have Iron Man one Iron Man two Thor The Avengers then you watch Iron Man three then you watch Thor two they watch Thor three and then you watch. You just have to America to hold it. What order yeah to watch him and I don't mean to tell you because I haven't pulled up. Sure. Go slow. I'm not gonna remember it.
