02 Charlotte Fowles on Mental Health, Building Resilience, and the Importance of Support
Sep 01, 2020 Season 1 Episode 2
Alessandra Boeri

In this vulnerable episode of Hearts of Courage, I welcome Charlotte Fowles, also known as The Executive Adventurer, passionate about helping others step outside their comfort zone. She shares her own personal story and how she has built resilience after undergoing a decade of personal trauma – from severe depression, cancer to multiple miscarriages. We have a very open conversation about mental health, mental illness and the stigma and shame around it, ways we can support someone and her hope for the future. Trigger Warning: This episode discusses a sensitive subject where we talk about suicide/suicide prevention(around 30 minutes into the episode).
