Highlights

Six Things You Can Do That Will Last Forever (Episode 60)

Confirm the work of our hands…confirm the work of our hands…Give it your approval and make it last. (Psalm 90:17)

Decide to Follow Jesus What does it profit a person, if they gain the whole world but lose their soul…their eternal soul? (Jesus)

If individuals live only 70/80 years, then a state, or a nation, or a civilization which may last for a thousand years, is more important than an individual. But, if Christianity is true, then the individual is not only more important but incomparably more important, for he is everlasting and the life of a state or a civilization, compared with his, is only a moment. (C.S. Lewis)

Be Kind

Maybe no-one else will remember your good deeds, your acts of kindness/compassion, but Jesus will. And that makes all the difference.

Complete Your God-given Mission

Too often, we’re preoccupied trying to imitate some else’s success. Our benchmark for success is a standard that has nothing to do with our own unique assignment. Comparison like this is a graveyard where joy goes to die

Practice Extravagant Generosity

Ironically, in the end, all that we will have left is what we’ve given away.

Serve Jesus’ Church Forgive Others

He who cannot forgive others, breaks the bridge over which he himself must travel. (George Herbert) Civilizations will come and go. But he who does the will of God will abide forever.
