- The lie the wife told was supposed to lead to his death
In prison, Joseph interpreted the dreams of two of his fellow prisoners, accurately predicting that one would be restored to his position while the other would be executed.
Gen 40:9-23
A Chief Butler: 3 branches and ripe grapes…..restoration
A Chief Baker: 3 white basket and bird eating out the basket….dead
23: Joseph interpreted the Chief Butler dream and it came to pass as Joseph informed him. The butler completely forgot Joseph.
The way to salvation:
- Hear: Romans 10:17
- Believe: Hebrews 11:6
- Repent: Acts 17:30-31
- Confess: Matthew 10:32
- Be Baptized: Mark 16:15-16
- Be faithful unto death: Revelation 2:10
