This week on The Get Down Beats chats with the Godfather of U.K Hip Hop, Rodney P.
Rodney has pioneered a definitive sound and carved a pathway for many upcoming artists in the U.K for over three decades, all the while being true and honest to himself and his music. His career has allowed him to navigate through a variety of story telling mediums. From rap to radio, right through to television and documentary making, Rodney has conquered all. I was a little nervous interviewing Rodney as he is such a master of his game, but i found his openness and genuine personality allowed me to not only complete the interview, but also gifted me the opportunity to learn from an O.G in this game that is storytelling.
