This week Shropshire GP Dr Charlotte Hart joins Nik to discuss the trials and tribulations of the fantastic Netflix show 'Sex Education', which gives us all a greater understanding of what the younger generation are having to deal with in this age of social media. They look at lots of different themes including shame, and how it can be used to control people.

NICE has outlined that fremanezumab can be used for migraine prevention in adults if (NICE TA 631, 2020):

  • Chronic migraine (headache on ≥15d/m, with migraine features on ≥8d/m for >3m)
  • AND ≥3 preventative drugs have failed
  • AND the company supplies the drug at a discounted cost to the NHS (discount amount unknown).

Treatment should be stopped if migraine frequency doesn’t reduce by ≥30% after 12w.
