What can man do to me? ***** Whose side are YOU ON? Not everybody who says “lord lord”, or says spiritual things are on his side.

Man can do plenty.  But we are infinite, eternal, untouchable unsnatchable value.

So yes, man can do plenty, but that is not the end of the thought psalm or the end of our reality.

Man can do plenty, the fall can do plenty. But we are untouchable.

Though man can touch..we are untouchable

Though disease, aging, sin may touch, we are untouchable.

STONE

14    The Lord is my strength and my song; 

he has become my salvation.

Coming to Jesus is no picnic.  He’ll require some cleaning out, some yielding, some obeying, and some flat out breaking of your Spirit.  Enter with Him into His holy quarry, where the output is you. The product is you.  The slab of granite is beautiful and polished and useful. Yes this is the Lord who breaks you, but breaks you for a purpose:

There stands in scripture a stone.

Jesus is the cornerstone. The whole structure joined, grows into a holy temple. People a re invited to be a part of God’s construction project.

We encounter, in scripture the rock of ages, who now has recruited  other solids who are part of an enlarging fortress.

Advice: fall on that stone, before He falls upon you 

guess what, the rock is coming back in judgment. In glory in immovability. In power. He comes as a stoney heart CRUSHER. You do not want to be on the other end of this machine of judgement and wrath. How, receive therock.  God says, I have been telling you this over and over.  Jesus reminds us of this truth. 

Let Him be your cornerstone. Your foundation: your north star plumbline that you become a building of.

Fall on the strength and surety of Jesus.  There is no plan b:

Brings up the question: Who makes days? Who makes time?

What is my response to time limitation?

I can think of no other topic that more clearly lays out our struggle with the sovereignty of God than that of time. Time existence.

That time exists and I exist in time: It is manifested by:

Why did that guy have to die?

Why did that guy have to die now?  Isnt this a little early?

We are created into time. And we are one day ripped from time into eternity.  That that amount of time is often viewed as “too soon” and sometimes, “not soon enough” here.

It is an ultimate struggle that the LORD MAKES TIME, (and I do not)

    It tests me that the Lord makes DAYS(and I do not)

Tempted, rather than rejoicing IN IT, I rebel FROM IT.

Rather than being glad, I can be grumpy that I didn’t get put in charge of 

GLad : be joyful, be merry, to gloat ATTITUDE

It all boils down to Jesus.  The good news is that this is not confusing. There are not many ways. There are not many rescue operations .
