Be With Me: 7 Minutes of Biblical Wonder
Be With Me is a daily 7 minute chronological walk through the New Testament hosted by Michael Smith. It is for everyone who is curious about what Jesus actually said and did in the gospels. Most episodes will leave you with at least one good thought to chew on for the rest of the day. We start with the Bible and hopefully end with Awe. We are walking through the chronological events of Jesus' life and then thoughtfully considering them. It is meant to spur the devotional life of the Christian and the not-yet-Christian. We occasionally venture into the Old Testament when it helps our understanding of the New Testament events. Everybody has 7 minutes. Everybody needs to wonder. Be With Me is hosted by Michael Smith who has absolutely no special qualifications to do a podcast. He is not a pastor. He has not been to seminary. He does not lead a mega-church. He is not a professional and he has no more credentials than you do. He does, however, follow a great God with an observant eye and a curious heart. Each day, he starts with a study bible and aims for astonishment. ‘be with him’ for 7 minutes as he sets out daily to discover the God who invites us to ‘Be With Me.’

Is it possible that I can play a hand in "delivering from evil?" Well, if you believe the words of Jesus, the answer is YES.
He asks US to pray for US. Specifically ..."but deliver us from evil". Perhaps you know those who have been delivered. The call today is to identify individuals who most need the rescue from the Lord. Then, intercede for them by begging the Lord for help.
Yes, we can indeed help others be delivered from evil.
Follow me. Let's help each other.

Can I Help Others Be Delivered From Evil? S31e82 Matt6:13
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
It is curious that Jesus allows a proximity to evil, yet promises a protectionfrom it.
He wants us preserved from it. Delivered from it. Kept from it.
Delivering from Evil: John 17 High priestly prayer right before His crucifiction: 15 I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.
The existence and reality of evil then, might be the pathway for you to experience the guarding and keeping by God.
How can evil be a good thing? This will be the testing ground of your response, your obedience and your keeping yourself in Him.
You may especially experience God by experiencing His deliverance from evil.
I’d imagine some of the deliverance that the Lord provides is not only aboveour paygrade, but beyond our vision.
He’s likely doing battle on our behalf beyond the horizon of our sight.
91 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
to guard you in all your ways.
12 On their hands they will bear you up,
lest you strike your foot against a stone.
It is not outside of the purview of God to have spiritual assistance sent practically before our path
It is not then inappropriate to pray for the guarding of God by any hand He chooses
Ps34:7 the angel of the Lord ENCAMPS around those who fear Him
One of my firm hopes is to be FOUND IN HIM when all is said and done.
To make it to such an end, there will likely be some deliverance from evil, some guarding from the vile; and some preservation from that so dreadful, that we can’t even imagine it.
Why get this relationshiop to evil correct?
Because there are others who are depending upon you13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Who is your US? Who are You connected to in your family, and your faithfamily?
In your family:
Who might you want to be not lead into temptation?
Perhaps there are innocents in need of this protection
Perhaps there are those who are week
Perhaps there is someone at the tip of the spear:
2 Thess 3: 3 Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored, as happened among you, 2 and that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men. For not all have faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.
Who might you want to be be delivered from evil?
How about your faith family?
What people at Church come to mind in asking for deliverance from evil?
What person in your family needs to be delivered?
What person are you grateful for that has unexpectedly, unplanned, unmerited way been delivered from evil?
Conclusion
Let’s fear and reverence and honor the Lord because:
To pray against evil is to pray for the Lord
Pushing back the borders of evil expands the borders of good
Let’s humbly request His protection by any method, person, angel, church, message, any knowledge, or awakening of the Spirit
Let’s ask for this cloak of protection for our families, our pastors, our elders, children, those not yet born
Psalm 91: 14 “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him;
I will protect him, because he knows my name.
15 When he calls to me, I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
Who is wrestling against rulers, authorities and cosmic powers over this present darkness? Against the spiritual forces of evil? Eph6
In FAMILY: What person needs to be delivered from Evil?
What person are you grateful that Has been delivered
In Faith family: What person need to be delievered?
Who comes to your mind?
What person are. You grateful
Self: what specific temptation would you ask for special help to be
What temptation would you ask that you be kept far away from?
What temptation could, unchecked and unattended to, lead to destruction.
Keep greed, lust, anger, gossip, far far far far awy
What “besetting sin” is it time to sic the power of the Lord’s prayerupon?
What weakness is it time to be geographically kept from,
Who can I help DELIVER from evil? By bringing them before the Lord. Who is in the throes of temptation
What far away person could you bring close
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
