So, you know, that's"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":156.92,"endTime":160.64,"body":"where I've kind of like I had to"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":160.79,"endTime":163.91,"body":"do these things to fulfill"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":160.79,"endTime":163.91,"body":"certain requirements, and I got"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":163.91,"endTime":168.17,"body":"the badges to prove it. And"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":163.91,"endTime":168.17,"body":"that's great. That's, that's"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":168.17,"endTime":172.31,"body":"important. But that's not the"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":168.17,"endTime":172.31,"body":"same as that learning and growth"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":172.37,"endTime":174.92,"body":"thing. Yes, there are learning"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":172.37,"endTime":174.92,"body":"opportunities in that just like"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":174.92,"endTime":176.96,"body":"there's learning opportunities"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":174.92,"endTime":176.96,"body":"and everything, but it's not the"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":176.96,"endTime":180.02,"body":"same thing. And I think it's,"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":176.96,"endTime":180.02,"body":"it's, once again, it's kind of"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":180.02,"endTime":183.89,"body":"great to, to think about being"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":180.02,"endTime":183.89,"body":"intentional about how you learn"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":183.89,"endTime":185.84,"body":"as a project manager, and how"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":183.89,"endTime":185.84,"body":"you get better as a project"},{"speaker":"Dale","startTime":185.84,"endTime":190.82,"body":"manager. So that, you"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":326.97,"endTime":329.1,"body":"know, you're talking about"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":326.97,"endTime":329.1,"body":"feedback well, ultimately,"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":329.85,"endTime":333.57,"body":"without feedback, you know, we"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":329.85,"endTime":333.57,"body":"just stay the same, and we just"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":333.57,"endTime":338.22,"body":"continue to perpetuate the"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":333.57,"endTime":338.22,"body":"behaviors good or bad, flawed or"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":338.22,"endTime":338.7,"body":"not."},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":339.78,"endTime":344.85,"body":"And, you know, a lot of"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":339.78,"endTime":344.85,"body":"organizations are quick to say"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":344.85,"endTime":347.4,"body":"that they have project reviews,"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":344.85,"endTime":347.4,"body":"but the project reviews are"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":347.4,"endTime":350.34,"body":"pretty perfunctory at the end,"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":347.4,"endTime":350.34,"body":"you know, we go through a quick"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":350.34,"endTime":353.37,"body":"checklist or whatever, but, you"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":350.34,"endTime":353.37,"body":"know, you're the concept of,"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":353.52,"endTime":357.9,"body":"what are we keeping track that"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":353.52,"endTime":357.9,"body":"could be useful. And, uh, you"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":357.93,"endTime":360.66,"body":"Well, actually, just before"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":357.93,"endTime":360.66,"body":"COVID started, so a year and a"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":360.66,"endTime":366.24,"body":"half, you almost two years ago,"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":360.66,"endTime":366.24,"body":"I attended a session that"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":366.9,"endTime":370.05,"body":"encouraged us to start a journal"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":366.9,"endTime":370.05,"body":"now I have to confess that"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":371.07,"endTime":373.89,"body":"I'm, you know, I never kept a"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":371.07,"endTime":373.89,"body":"diary. I've never, you know,"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":373.89,"endTime":377.43,"body":"I've probably started a dozen"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":373.89,"endTime":377.43,"body":"journals over the last 40 years."},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":377.43,"endTime":379.65,"body":"And you know, I get about three"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":377.43,"endTime":379.65,"body":"days into them, and then you"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":379.65,"endTime":382.35,"body":"forget about it, and come back"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":379.65,"endTime":382.35,"body":"to it a week later. And then you"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":382.35,"endTime":385.35,"body":"realize it's now in a month, and"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":382.35,"endTime":385.35,"body":"so on. But I decided I was going"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":385.35,"endTime":390.78,"body":"to really try to be a lot more"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":385.35,"endTime":390.78,"body":"focused. And I started very"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":390.78,"endTime":394.11,"body":"small. And I just what I did was"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":390.78,"endTime":394.11,"body":"I looked at three things I'm"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":394.11,"endTime":399.78,"body":"grateful for, and three things I"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":394.11,"endTime":399.78,"body":"learned today. And the reason"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":399.78,"endTime":403.41,"body":"for limiting it to three was"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":399.78,"endTime":403.41,"body":"because, you know, and sometimes"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":403.41,"endTime":406.2,"body":"I will confess, it's like, this"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":403.41,"endTime":406.2,"body":"has not been a day for which I"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":406.2,"endTime":407.55,"body":"have much gratitude."},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":410.45,"endTime":414.05,"body":"But you know, you Well, you"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":410.45,"endTime":414.05,"body":"know, I'm grateful for the fact"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":414.05,"endTime":416.33,"body":"that I can actually sit here and"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":414.05,"endTime":416.33,"body":"I'm not in the hospital on a"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":416.33,"endTime":420.08,"body":"ventilator. So I guess there's"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":416.33,"endTime":420.08,"body":"some of that, right. But when"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":420.08,"endTime":423.86,"body":"you then bring that over to the"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":420.08,"endTime":423.86,"body":"project side, and it's great to"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":423.86,"endTime":426.17,"body":"go back, and I've been doing"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":423.86,"endTime":426.17,"body":"that occasionally. But you know,"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":426.17,"endTime":428.18,"body":"the end of the month, they'll"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":426.17,"endTime":428.18,"body":"often flip through the pages and"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":428.42,"endTime":431.12,"body":"or go through even back a couple"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":428.42,"endTime":431.12,"body":"of months and say okay, what are"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":431.12,"endTime":434.96,"body":"some of my key learnings? And"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":431.12,"endTime":434.96,"body":"ask myself, so what so what am I"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":434.96,"endTime":439.76,"body":"doing with those? Am I actually"},{"speaker":"Rod","startTime":434.96,"endTime":439.76,"body":"applying that learning?
