Episode 3
Dr. Chris completed his PhD in anthropology and will share a little bit about his early childhood experiences, his journey through high school, his efforts to maintain a curiosity towards life, and how he found a passion for anthropology. Some of the topics we will discuss include, finding your identity, learning what it means to be white in America, the concept of other as it relates to anthropology, its historical implications, and how various models in both psychology and anthropology can help us better understand our own journeys. As always, Dr. Chris’s perspective on these topics was shaped by his own history, experiences and knowledge of self. I hope you enjoy it and that it provides you with one more side to your own water bottle.
