[00:36] When it comes to money or profit, one fundamental pillar is money mindset. What is your relationship with money? If you're a business owner, I'm sure you've already explored this topic or that you need to explore this topic, or maybe both. Because when you have your own business, it comes up time and time again. And if you haven't come to a nice peaceful agreement with your relationship with money, then you will come to some blockages along the road. And if you have already worked on your money mindset, maybe you can take it a step further. I know that recently I worked on it with my coach and when she said, oh, I think we need to do a bit of money mindset, I thought, no, surely I've done this about 50 times. Surely it's done. But sometimes it's not done. Because to get to the next level, wherever you are in your business, you need to shift your mindset, your identity, to get to that next level. So if you've done previous work on this in the past, it might have helped you to get from A to B and then you'd need to put in another dose of work energy effort to get to B to C. From B to C. Looking at money mindset, there's a couple of things that are fundamental, that are essential. One of them is this idea of abundance, of scarcity that I already discussed in the episodes on time. If you have a scarcity mindset, it's when you believe that there's only a limited amount and that you all need to divide that limited amount. And so that would mean that if someone else gets richer, if one of your competitors get richer or more profitable than you, and that you have a scarcity mindset, you think that this means you're not doing as well. If you have an abundance mindset, you think there's enough for everyone out there. If a competitor does great, good for him or her, and you can just do as well. Also, the next month or the next year, or who knows, competitors doing well don't make you less abundant. There's no correlation in many ways. And so thinking that that way makes it easier for you to get to open up things. The reason why abundance is such a fundamental part of mindset is because it opens up all the doors, opens up all the possibilities, open up everything feels more possible, more inviting, and you will start to see a lot more possibilities. If you notice that you have a scarcity mindset and you can notice it. For an example, if you start to feel desperate, or if you start to feel that everything is difficult or impossible, or you're not going to manage, or it's so challenging, or you feel resistance, all of these things can be an indication of scarcity mindset. And to shift it to abundance, you need to shift your thoughts. And that makes a change because your thoughts show up in all the pillars of time, energy, attention, profit, because they are what dictate how you lead your life, how you manage your business every day. So start to notice, and yes, awareness is also in all the pillars of pretty much all the episodes. Start to notice when you think to yourself I really need this, or I really need to make more money, or my business isn't working well, or how am I going to make it? And you start to have all these thoughts of scarcity, of lack, and then shift them to abundance by starting to recognize what is going well, what can you celebrate, what are some of the milestones you've reached? And if financially you're struggling, maybe look at what are some of the possibilities that will alleviate this or change it, what are some of the inner resources that you have that will make a difference and will support you in shifting from scarcity to abundance? What's interesting is that you might think that you need the external results in order to feel abundant and yet actually feeling it first and being confident and grounded and sure that profit is going to come or that your business is going to grow and be as successful as you want it to be. This is where the magic happens. And this will lead to the abundance. And if you don't develop an abundance mindset and you still run your business on a scarcity mindset, even if you do really well, even if you grow or double your profit or income or what have you, and you don't have this, you will start to think, what if it's taken away from me? This is what happens when you have a successful or financially successful business, but you still have scarcity mindset, because then you start to worry, what if it goes away? What if I can't earn it back again? What if next year isn't as good, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. So just relying on external results won't be enough to support you in your abundance mindset, because as I just mentioned, if you reach that stage, you might still have the scarcity mindset and wonder what if it's taken away from you or you can't earn it again. So isn't it paradoxical and interesting that you can be in a place where you have no profit in your business at all and have an abundance mindset, and you can be in a place where you're earning millions and be in scarcity mindset. Just like pause for a moment so that you can see that. And what happens is when you're in abundance mindset, even if you're earning nothing, you know that you will be able to generate this because you have faith in yourself and in your processes and your energy to actually deliver the results you need to deliver. And you will have abundance because it will come from your abundance mindset. And if, on the other hand, as I just said, you have scarcity mindset and your business is doing really well, you will worry it disappears or you don't do as well the following year. So results on their own are not enough. Regarding money mindset, start to think and challenge yourself to think what would you lose if you doubled your profit, for example? And who would you lose if you doubled your profit? Because we always have a threshold in our mind, a thermostat, a threshold where we're keeping ourself that feels comfortable for us, and this fear to go to the next threshold. So part of your mind, subconsciously, no doubt, is afraid that if you get to that next stage, you will lose something. You need to find out what that is. And once you've figured it out, you need to work on accepting that potential loss. For example, you might be afraid that if you go from six to seven figures, let's say, that you will lose some friendships in your life because they have a very different earnings to you and they won't be able to relate as much. Although that's the fear that you have, if you don't address that fear, it will hold you back, it will keep you in that threshold. If you do address it, then you'll be able to do something with it, you'll be able to work on it with a coach maybe, or mentor and to accept it. So those were really the two fundamentals that I wanted to discuss on today's episode on profit, which is a have an abundance mindset, start to shift your thoughts towards possibility and B notice what is holding you back from getting at the next stage. What are the fears, the thoughts that are holding you back from getting to a more profitable stage? And if you're not able to do this on your own, through reflection, you can try journaling and other methods. But I invite you to work with a coach or a mentor or an accountability partner because sometimes these things are really well hidden and they're hard to identify and it's perfectly natural and extremely useful, as I also did to work with a coach or someone that can support you on this. I hope you found this episode useful. I know that generating profit in your business is a fundamental aspect of running your business, so hopefully you've enjoyed it and you're taking away a couple of tools to support you to go to the next level.
