In this episode of Life with Lori, host Lori Stai interviews Justin Myers,a real life pirate hunter, veteran, and owner of Signs by Veterans. Justin decided he wanted to be an entrepreneur after meeting many wonderful entrepreneurs that challenged him to decide what was next in his life. He had been a vice president of one of the largest sign companies in America and it was time to do something different. Justin says his first step was that he made a sale - so he rolled with it. He now ships to almost all 50 states.
Justin says one of his clients is the Dallas Stars, and his goal is to continue to get large clients and make Signs by Veterans a household name across America. Signs by Veterans services small businesses, retail shops, and many others with signage of all types. They provide signage for branding, trade shows, vehicle wraps, exterior and interior, lighted, interstate, store-front, and many more.
Justin believes in giving back. His company created Operation Care Package as a way to give back to those serving overseas. They gather items such as best-selling books, toiletries, and food items, and send them to the men and women serving our country in the military. They have shipped over 100 boxes so far this year.
Justin has a huge network of veterans and veteran-owned businesses, and he says that his business provides an opportunity as a community of exchange. He offers signage solutions to small businesses which can help them grow and also provides the opportunity to network with other business owners. Additionally, Justin is teaming up with Monster Producers, a coaching program run by Micheal Burt Enterprises, to bring Monster Producers to the veteran communities.
