South African mountaineer Cathy O’Dowd was the first woman in the world to climb Everest from both sides. Her thirty years of passion for mountains have taken her around the world, on rock and snow, climbing and skiing. She works internationally as a motivational speaker, sharing experiences of teams in the high Himalaya with corporate leaders. She is the author of ‘Just For The Love Of It’, the story of her Everest adventures. She now lives in Andorra, a tiny country in the Pyrenees mountains in the south of Europe, from where she continues her mountain adventures. She also run The Business of Adventure, a website designed to help other adventurers find ways to fund their dreams.
