Before we dive into the topic of Theta Healing, please tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got into this work.
● Thank you so much for having me. And I just want to quickly introduce myself, my name is Amy Bowman, and I'm a theta healer. And I'm also a certified social worker. And so really all my life, I've just been drawn to people's stories and offering them a safe space to confide and tell me, you know, whatever is on their minds, it's kind of really, that helping intuitiveness kind of always was with me. And it developed into my professional career as a social worker, to wanting to help people in need. And from there, I just kind of was on my own personal journey, we're always as social workers trying to find the best things and modalities and ways to help our clients and all aspects of their life. And along the way, I stumbled on to Theta Healing for myself, for my own personal struggles, I found that I was living my life on autopilot. And I really wanted to take control back into my life, and really kind of continue to push myself to become the best person I possibly could. And really release my own personal limitations, my own personal fears, my own, like really just anything that was holding me back in life. And when I discovered data, it really, I realized that I could do all of that. And so essentially, that's how I got to be on the road of becoming a theta healer. And it's just been really powerful in my own life.
Thanks for sharing your story. And so many of us slip into that autopilot feeling. Will you define Theta Healing for us and tell us some of its benefits?
● Theta Healing is an alternative therapy, where healing takes place on the subconscious level. And really, it helps you release anything that's weighing you down, that doesn't serve you. In my sessions, you are energetically given empowering beliefs that create instant cellular connections on the subconscious level. This helps create instant breakthroughs to support you emotionally, physically, mentally, spiritually, to help create the life of your dreams. By focusing on the subconscious mind, a lot of people don't really realize the power of our subconscious mind. It actually really controls about 95% of our daily life. It has our memories, our experiences, observations, our thoughts, beliefs, everything that makes us us. Our reality is reflecting to us that which is within us, we see the world not as it is, but as we are. And that's one of those quotes that really is very insightful and impactful to really describe while you're at reality is the way that it is. I tell everyone to look at their triggers, your triggers are showing you pieces of yourself that are still unhealed. Our unhealed pain, our suppressed emotions, our traumas that we've experienced are actually creating blocks that are affecting our daily lives. We endure all kinds of wounds that become stored in our body energetically. In many of us, we crave to move forward in our life and put those experiences behind us. But the most common way that we do that is by burying our own feelings. We believe that by putting the past behind you, you've moved on and it can no longer affect you. But despite those efforts, our pain really becomes trapped in our body and ourselves. They influence how we react and perceive situations. It becomes our reality and is mirrored back to us daily in our triggers, with our relationships, our personal struggles, as well as how we view ourselves in view others and if we ignore our unhealed pain long enough, it can actually manifest into something bigger into our life like it can affect us our physical body, it can affect our mental health, it can affect our emotional well-being, you know, it can show up in our lives in the form of anger or resentment, stress, anxiety, disease, illness, all of those things are really trapped emotions in our body that are just trying to get our attention to release and come out so we can really have the life that we want for ourselves.
Well, speaking of trapped emotions, I think that our listeners are in for a treat, because you're going to lead us through some muscle testing and muscle testing activity, correct?
● Yeah, muscle testing is amazing. And I utilize it in my sessions. And it can be used to uncover our belief programs on the subconscious mind that are really affecting us, it gives us an opportunity to really take a peek into our subconscious mind to see what beliefs were actually carrying. So I would love to take you through the muscle testing. And I utilize a form of sway test method. And so I'm going to kind of walk you through on how to do this so you guys can learn how to do it on your own. And then I will give you some examples of beliefs that you can test on your own. So first, what I want you guys to do is I want you to face north. So if you can find which way is north, this automatically aligns you to the natural ley lines, and magnetic lines of the earth. Okay, so when you're first learning how to muscle test, this will give you your most accurate results when you're aligned with the earth. And so if you kind of stand in a neutral stance, with your knees and muscles loose, and kind of place your feet about six to eight inches apart, it should feel really, really natural. And then what you're going to do is you are going to zip up your energy field. And how you're going to do that is really by pretending you're zipping up a jacket. So you're going to start at your waist, and pretend that you're pulling that zipper all the way up to the top of your head. And then you're going to just kind of
relax your hands, set your sights, and you want to keep your hands at your sides, if this does end up crossing that middle imaginary zip that we just did, you're essentially breaking that energy field. So not a big deal, you're just gonna raise it up. Okay, and so I want you to close your eyes, it's really important that you have your eyes closed when your muscle testing. So that way, it allows you to take yourself out of the present moment and really tap into that subconscious mind. So with your eyes closed, you're going to say the word “ yes” out loud in your body and want to show you what a yes looks like for you. And it should be your body being pulled forward or swaying forward or rocking forward. And then with your eyes closed, again, you're going to say the word “no” out loud. And your body should again sway backwards or feel like it's been pulled backwards. It sounds very interesting, but like our body really does this movement to show us and so if your muscle testing correctly. So if you get your yes and you're rocking forward and you're getting your no and you're rocking backwards, your muscle testing correctly. If you're having any issues, and you're not really moving or your movements are really small, it's probably because you're not very hydrated. It's very important to be hydrated. As you know, if our muscles don't have enough water, we're not going to muscle test properly. Our body is made out of like 70% of water if you're reversed so like if you're saying yes out loud and you're rocking backwards and you're saying no out loud and you're rocking forward, your polarities are actually reversed. So let me go ahead and fix that for you. So if anyone is experiencing that, go ahead and say yes to this. Then I will energetically send you the energy to correct this. So say yes to having your polarities match the Earth's polarities and that your body knows what this feels like and knows how to do this you're allowed to do this and it's possible for you to have your polarity as aligned to the earth, go ahead and say yes for that and I will send that to you energetically and then you can retest and see where you're at.
● Okay so with that being said, you guys should be getting your “yes” and your” no” correctly and we're gonna move on to some common beliefs that I find in my clients. And so we we're gonna see if you have them on a subconscious level your body you're gonna say these beliefs out loud with your eyes closed again zipped up and you'll see your body show you a yes or show you a no so the first one I want you guys to test if you have to read zip up go ahead and do that now. And with your eyes closed out loud I want you to repeat the statement “I deserve to be happy”.and see if your body shows you a yes or no … next one, “I believe in myself”...” I must sacrifice to make money”...” I have to struggle” ...” I have to suffer to grow”...” it is safe to express myself”...” I feel supported in my life”...” I trust myself.”...” I feel respected by others”. The last one is ``I'm allowed to say no”. For any of those, your body stayed still and didn't move forward or backwards. That's actually an indicator that you have dual beliefs. So you have both. Yes, I deserve to be happy and both deserve to be happy. No. So that's an indicator that you're carrying both beliefs. And when you're carrying both beliefs, your subconscious mind actually cancels both of them out. So it's really interesting to see what kind of beliefs you're carrying and how you muscle test it and how it's actually kind of maybe possibly showing up in your life.
Wow, that was amazing. That was great. I went right along with you on those. And I guess I was surprised at that couple of yeses that I did get. Now how do we actually set up new subconscious beliefs or blueprints for our lives with more empowering beliefs or or to work with the empowering beliefs?
● Yeah, that is a wonderful question. So with Theta Healing, I can energetically give you empowering beliefs. And I kind of describe it as a way to give your subconscious mind new blueprints to pull from. So in sessions, I'm removing old blueprints energetically, and I'm giving you new blueprints, that really is going to help support you. And help your subconscious mind pull from those beliefs to help create yourself the reality that you want in your life. There are four ways that I know how to change your belief systems. And with the subconscious mind, and in those four: significant events is the first one being a significant event such as a trauma or an accident, those experiences are automatically instantly rewiring your brain. The second one being hypnosis. The third one being energy psychology, which is what Theta Healing falls under. And then the fourth one begins through repetition. So a good example of that would be affirmations. You know, people are really into affirmations and placing them all around your home, wherever you look and repeating those back to themselves on a consistent basis, which helps create those repetitions in your subconscious mind, therefore, taking it on as truth. And so that's four ways on how to reprogram your subconscious minds.
Thank you for those tangible examples. I know I tend to use energy psychology and repetition. Those are like my top two favorites. So could you please tell us about some of your client transformations without breaking their confidentiality?
● Yeah… I will give you some good examples. I had a client that expressed that she felt a lot of anger and frustration in her life, especially when friends and family specifically didn't keep their word or broke promises to her. She really emphasized how important it is for her to strive and always keep her word and keep her commitments. And when others don't, she feels very unimportant, not respected or valued by people in her life. And in session, we kind of went back as far back as we could possibly go to one that really first began for her. So when did that essentially become an issue for her is what we were looking at. And it really went back to when her parents were actually divorcing she mentioned that her dad actually cheated on her mom throughout their marriage and you know, would be in her life for a little bit, and then disappear, and then kind of come back and disappear. And meanwhile always kind of, you know, making promises to the specific clients and not following through with them. So she learned in her life that the man who was supposed to love her unconditionally and be there for her was always constantly breaking his word to her and that she couldn't really trust and some of the things that we had her muscle test was “ people treat me like a priority.” She got no
“people let me down” she got ``Yes.” I'm worthy of love.” She got no “people respect me.” She got no “ people value me” she got no,” I'm important.” She got no. And so those were beliefs that she was carrying around for her and reflecting to her in her reality through her friends and family always breaking their promises and, and such. And so what we did was we removed those beliefs and I gave her supporting ones to kind of help her and she actually had a very significant breakthrough where she I actually reached out to her dad, who she hadn't spoken to in a very long time, and told him that she loved him. And she also experienced work through an account that she shared, she mentioned, receiving praise and compliments for work that she did. And for the first time, she said that she felt a warmth over her heart, because before, she could never accept people's genuineness, and trust the words that they were saying. And so when that kind of came through to her after our session, she felt for the first time she could actually believe and accept what they were saying. And so those were huge, huge transformations for her.
● I have a second clients who had a negative sexual experience, and she was pressured into having sex as a teenager. And during that interaction, she found out that it was actually recorded, which made her feel very powerless. And she also felt responsible, but she let it happen. And knowing that still as an adult, and as a mother of her own children, that this tape still existed, haunted her on a daily basis, there wasn't a day that went by where she didn't think about it. She often mentioned the embarrassment and shame that it caused and that she was carrying around. So together, we cleared that trauma, shock and abuse that her body experienced from that situation, released her from blame and responsibility, and we gave her closure and empowering beliefs. And she actually shared months later, that it no longer actually ruled her life that she actually never even thought about the the instance anymore, and that she finally felt free, which was huge, because she went from a day where it was just consuming her every single day life to finally no longer being the victim from that story. So that was a wonderful, wonderful transformation for her as well.
Wow, those are both terrific client transformations that took that work, co partnering with you and the client to reach that point. Thank you. Thank you.
● Yeah, I'd love to actually share with listeners some empowering beliefs today, if we can do that, if that's possible.
Great. Let's do a few.
● Okay, so I'd like to essentially give you guys some empowering beliefs. And I'm going to basically give you beliefs that you might not be carrying in your subconscious mind. And these beliefs might teach you the highest truth, they might teach you how to do something or when to do it, or that's possible, you're allowed. And so we're just going to kind of cover the bases. And I want you to go ahead and close your eyes. And as I'm saying the beliefs, I want you to go ahead and say yes to the ones that you want. And I will send them to you at the end and you'll get them energetically just by saying yes. So the first one that I'm going to start with is help with articulating feelings, which is something we can all utilize some help on. So the first one is, “I understand God's or the creator's definition of articulating my feelings. I understand what it feels like to articulate my feelings. I know when to articulate my feelings. I know how to articulate my feelings. I know how to live my daily life articulating my feelings. I know God's or the creator's perspective on articulating my feelings. I know it is possible to articulate my feelings.” The next set of beliefs I want to give you is being heard by others. Because the next set of beliefs I want to give you is being heard by others. So go ahead and say yes to the ones that you would like to receive.” I understand God's, the creator's definition of being heard by others. I understand what it feels like to be heard by others. I know when to be heard by others. I know how to be heard by others. I know how to live my daily life by being heard by others. I know God's or the creator's perspective, I'm being heard by others. I know it is possible to be heard by others.” And then the last set of beliefs I want to give you is about being in the moment. So go ahead and say yes to the beliefs that you want.” I understand God's or the creator's definition of being in the moment. I understand what it feels like to be in the moment. I know how to be in the moment. I know how to live my daily life at the moment. I know God's or the creator's perspective on being in the moment. I know it is possible to be in the moment. I understand what it feels like to live in the now, in this moment, and in the seconds. I know how to live in the now. And in the second. I understand what it feels like to live in the now experiencing the joy of it.” And I will send those energetically to you guys now all the ones that you want it to say yes to.

Your cells, especially during birth, could be holding on to that trauma during and after birth. And so this healing is going to cover a wide array of issues and feelings that might have been present during that time of pregnancy and release you from all of that stuff that you could have taken on energetically. So it's really a wonderful healing. It'll make you feel amazing. You'll feel more whole, complete and just and all around a wonderful opportunity to help release some of that baggage you might be carrying that you're not even aware of.
