Have you ever heard of an Irisgenics Ancestral Eye Reading before? There are very few practitioners throughout the world. But we are extremely fortunate to be interviewing one of them today, as we welcome Carol Dutton into the “Call IT in With Dar” podcast. In our upcoming conversation, she will define the service, Irisgenics Ancestral Eye Readings, list the benefits, and then lead us through an experience together. She's great at telling clients stories, and also informs us about the books that she's written. Before we dive into this exciting topic of ancestral eye readings, please tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got into this work.

●     I'm Carol Dutton and I own “Being You Energetically”.  I got into the  irisgenics ancestral eye reading somewhat by accident, in that I had been taking subtle energy medicine training, and was in an apprenticeship program. One of the other apprentices knew of this person who formulated this modality of the eye readings and being an ancestral aspect to it. And Amy Gillespie Daugherty had decided that it was too important of a modality to keep just to herself. So she was going to open it up to an apprentice or training session, to get more people around the country to be able to do these readings. So I took the training and was enthralled with all the information I was learning, and what I could share with people about the ancestors that decided to touch them at the moment they were born. So, after finishing the training, I completed the certification process, and have been thrilled to be able to share how your ancestors who touched you when you were born, leave a lasting mark on your life.

That's beautiful, how the ancestors touched you when you were born and left a mark on your life. Oh, love that. What exactly is an irisgenics ancestral eye reading.

●     Using a close up photo of the eye that is properly lit. With some frontline side lighting, you can see the seven layers of the eye. And in there, I can tell you what personality because of the ice structure, what personality you were born to live. There's markings in there also showing if you've had life events that have forced you to adjust your personality. Or maybe you became a performer or an analyst, maybe you're a maverick because of life circumstances.  There's also in different areas of the eye certain markings that might show up, that would tell me, first of all, let me backup just a tiny bit. The left eye and the right eye have very distinctive meanings, different from each other So in each eye, there might be a marking, that would tell me, your ancestors dealt with one of the issues might be a scape where they always felt trapped, whether it's in a situation or trapped physically, that they're putting those in as an awareness tool for the person to see, hey, this was a problem in my life. I want you to be aware in case it's a repeat patterns happening in your life. So in that escape, maybe that person had been in the military, somehow got behind some enemy lines, was afraid to move or even make a sound because the enemy might be able to find them and then their life would be in danger. So if the person that I'm reading has this mark, the repeat pattern could be that they find themselves always getting locked in somewhere to give a public restroom and the stall door might get stuck. So when you're in the stall and you can't get out, that could end up being like a repeat pattern, even though it's not the exact same situation. It still reflects on the same type of being stuck or held back.

Wow. I'd like to let our listeners know at this time that I had an ancestor eye reading from Carol. And what's beautiful about it is I can go back now and look at it again, and get a little bit more insight. Now that she's explained exactly what it is and the seven layers and the different eyes, I guess I kind of blended the meaning of both eyes together. So it'll be fun to go back into mine. And I'd like Carol, I'd like you to address some of the benefits for having this type of reading and acquiring some of this information.

●     Absolutely. One of the things that the founder had discovered, and why she created the modality she had training in several other eye reading modalities she was working with at risk youth. And in working with them, all of a sudden, she realized when they had this marking, every one of them seemed to have this trait going on. She was able to help them by saying this is ancestral. We can deal with the ancestral aspect. And you don't have to keep listening to the wording of you're such a bad kid, why do you keep doing this, when it's really not their fault? The psychologist who was also working with those same children told her, “you get more in a 45 minute eye reading and session with these children than what we're able to help them with in six weeks of therapy sessions.” So if you translate those types of comments, to just a general person who isn't even feeling some of those at risk,life experiences that can still help with understanding your inner self, why do I do this? Or Why does it always seem like this happens to me. And then having an ancestral clearing when you know what to focus on, is really, really helpful. It's like advancing very quickly through a healing process.

That is so interesting. And one of the things that I find fascinating is the at risk youth aspect, that it's ancestral. And that brings us one more step because Carol and I met at the expo circuit, and I do the ancestral scan and clearing. So after they have an eye reading, it would be very beneficial for them to come over and have the ancestral scanning clearing, which I also offer online. So I digress, excuse me, without breaking any client confidentiality. What were some of your most interesting discoveries during some of these readings?

●     I'm quickly thinking through some of the sessions that I've done, and I've done hundreds. But one very quickly comes to mind and it's an aspect we have not talked about yet on the irisgenics ancestral eye readings is that oftentimes, when the picture is snapped, there are ancestral or energetic images that show up in the eyes. I had one client, who at one of the expos purchased just what I call the sneak peek, which is I just do a quick 10 minute reading at the show. And it gives them a real, very, very light insight into what I'm seeing …one of the ladies and she was younger, I would guess maybe in her early 20s.  When I got to the area of talking about these ancestral images in one area, she had so many of the images there. And I told her it was in an area where all of these ancestors were there as a support system for her whatever she chose to do. They were there to cheer her on, like having her own private cheerleading squad, or if she were a lead singer, they would be all her backup singers. When I told her that tears just started rolling down her face, she said, “ I've always felt that I was being supported somehow. But I've been so ostracized by my family that it's no contact with anybody in my family.” So for her to realize that she had ancestors who were there supporting her, was very, very powerful for her.

How beautiful to be. It's kind of like being told you're never alone? How gorgeous was that?

Thank you for sharing that. And then I'm going to ask my fun question that actually is rather insightful. But what do you consider to be your superpower? And why?

●     I think I would have to say my superpower is compassion. And I use that compassion to come from an area of understanding. If one of my clients is in a position, I'm seeing something in their eyes, or as a subtle energy medicine practitioner, just sensing what's going on with them. I can, even though it might not be what they really want to hear, I can put words in such a compassionate way that they are grateful, even for hearing something that maybe they don't want to hear.

Oh, Carol, I agree with you, you are good at that…beautiful. Well, our listeners are in for a treat, because I hear you're going to share with them something very interesting about the ancestors.

●     I am, I have a great takeaway for you. I had created a journaling exercise. And it's called rapture journaling. It helps you get in touch with your ancestors. It's “recognize the repeating pattern happening in your life”. Some examples may be Do you constantly lose things, you know keys, pans, notes etc? Are you always early or always late? Do you often find yourself drawn to a different time or era? So for the journaling exercise on that first area, recognize that you would just write down some of those things, so that you can see if it's a repeat pattern that could be happening from your ancestors. And the a the P, the T, the R or the U the R and then the final e in that exercise, the E is expressing and envisioning. Express your love to your ancestors for their impact on their world. Distendons the universe, but especially for their impact on you. Envision your new life with patterns that only enhance you to live your best life. Journal how you express your love and the vision of your new life. So that was the first journaling exercise and the last journaling extra size. So check out that free take away to get the rest of that journaling exercise. It has been very helpful for many of my clients and especially my husband.

• Certainly, the books that I have been involved in our collaborative efforts, so they're anthologies of 25 authors offering their very personal story, and the tool they use to get through that experience. So the first book that I contributed to is the ancestors with a reveal and heal the ancient memories you carry. I wrote chapter 10, in that book, and that is where the rapture journaling exercise is written. The ancestors within is a series of four books. And there are also two journals. So the authors of book one and two, did the “ancestors within journal”, a family keepsake and companion guide. It includes 52 interactive exercises of connecting with your ancestors, that would be an entire year of journaling exercises. That is such a wonderful thing. I used it in a manner of giving it to each of my siblings, for us to then compare at the end of the year, because ancestors that I connect with would not necessarily be the same as what my brothers and my sister connect with. So I'm going to find that very interesting. To follow up with the other book, again, an anthology is “sacred death” that the 25 authors are,end of life, doulas, hospice workers, or like myself, someone who has just been involved in helping a person transition. And I wrote chapter 14 In that book, a sacred ceremony for words, when we have to say goodbye. Writing those stories was so powerful for me. And because they were so personal, it was a very, very healing process in me simply writing goals. I hope that any of the listeners find them just as exciting to get their hands on. Otherwise, if you're purchasing one for yourself, you could purchase it on my list of services, you would take your own Eye Photo pictures, it's important that if you when you take your pictures to when you email them, to me, email them with the titles of saying which eye it is, sometimes when they are some cameras, especially cell phone cameras will reverse the images. So what might look like it's a right might actually be a person's left eye. And as I had said, it's quite important to know the difference since each eye has its own meaning. But they would email me the photos. I would go ahead and look them over to do a reading and create their 30 to 45 minute video that I would then email back to them.

Terrific. I want the audience to know that I purchased a reading already for my daughter in law for Christmas. And she is adopted and doesn't know anything about her birth family. So I think that this will be very exciting, good for her to receive, and I can't wait for her to do it.

●     And it's important to know that those who are adopted know nothing of their families, or ones that have somehow the families have become estranged in a manner. This modality was created by a woman who was adopted. And she realized there were so many touch points in her eyes that connected her with her birth families, whom she did in her later years get to meet.
